"Willow cannot be trusted," Penelope said.
Eve couldn't help but snort in response. It was rather amusing how Willow had expressed the same sentiment about Penelope.
"You don't have any reasons to believe me," Penelope continued, her tone detached. "I don't aim to convince you either. However, I suggest you pay close attention to what unfolds in the coming days."
As Penelope started to walk away, Eve's brow furrowed. There was something peculiar about her. Penelope wasn't particularly popular, friendly, or even conventionally beautiful. Yet, there was an unsettling aura surrounding her that bothered Eve.
That night, as Eve pondered Penelope's warnings, a thought nagged at her. Could it be that Penelope's words were meant to manipulate her into following Willow's path?
Shaking her head, she sat back up and chose to find solace in meditation.
Taking a seat in a lotus position, Eve closed her eyes and focused her thoughts.
