lightning struck butterflies

of whispering winds

burning roses

and lightning struck butterflies

can't you feel

the way I speak of what isn't real

running circles in my head is a dream I'll never possess

of a liar dreaming she's a princess

falling stars and screaming silence

wondrous relief I won't dare to speak

the roses burn
