For a few seconds the wend appeared to be stunned or as if she had not heard what he had said and just stared at him blankly waiting for him to repeat what he had said, finally looking down at the piece of paper in his hand she reconsidered the ticket in his hand that was only given to those who passed the test, coming out of her shock she finally spoke up, "How did you complete the test; it has only been around less thirty minutes since I've seen you, and the majority of people fail within an hour, did you guess and just happen to get a passing grade?" she answered still confused taking the ticket out of Euclids hand.
"The test wasn't difficult as it was more just writing down every thing I already knew and incorporating my own thoughts and ideas on to the paper." Euclid replied sounding slightly confused as why he would fail, 'Is it common for people to fail the test although I get the theoretical pats being complicated to most people, it wouldn't have failed them even if they guessed the theory part as it was just to gauge the person knowledge, creativity and potential so it must have been the math or the drawing the rune diagrams, do the people of theirs world really have that much of a problem with basic mathematics and geometry?'.
As Euclid was having an inner monologue, Wendy was looking over the ticket as if looking to see if it was a counterfeit and pondering over Euclids words, finally after a minute, "hmm, its not fake so you really did pass in less than thirty minutes, strange, anyway now that you've finished the test… here is your guild card, your rune brush, your rune book, and guide book. I'm sure you know of what most of what this stuff is as its pretty self explanatory but I am required to go over it, the guild card allows you to access the guild library, request materials; help or assistance, accept rune jobs, attend lectures, your rune brush is just like a regular brush; but you put Mana stone inside this new cartridge that was recently added so except that it acts like a normal brush except you no longer have to dip the brush tip inside a liquid Mana container, your rune book is just a note book provided to you by the guild for you to take notes write your thoughts, and finally your guide book contains normal amateur and beginner level knowledge that you don't have to pay the guild to access like the library, it also contains basic information about the guild and other information you may need to know about."
As she finished glancing over the ticket she and mumbled to her self she put the ticket inside a machine and seemed to scan the ticket then popped out a card that appeared to like any other card for identification from Euclids old world, handing the card over he noticed his name, age; which he had put 18 down considering as he looked young and it would be not too young and not too old, along with his rank; which was one as of now, highest floor, and the guild symbol.
Finished glancing over the card in second he looked back up a Wendy where she had grabbed another three items and set them on the desk before explaining their purpose, listening to her Euclid picked up the guide book first before skimming though the book and making a digital copy before setting the book down and reviewing the entirety of the book and understanding some more information that he had not learned or had not come to the same conclusion as of yet, he also analyzed the formation and noticed some patterns that had not been spoken about, when he finally digested the information he began to break up and synthesis different parts while forming his own conclusions and new ideas.
While all of this was going on, Wendy had bent down to grab a piece of paper from underneath the deck that appeared to be another document for Euclid to sign, standing back up and putting the sheet down she began explaining again, "Now before you leave or look through that guide book we do require you to sign this paper stating that you won't share the guilds information with anybody outside this guild."
Sliding the sheet in front of Euclid with a pencil, an interesting thought came to Euclids mind, as Wendy had not noticed Euclid picking up the book and skimming through it let alone reading the book and wouldn't believe he could copy all the information in a couple seconds of skimming, if he decided to leave the guild now he could just release all the information to the public without getting into any legal trouble, but the guild would still come after him and cause him some trouble.
Deciding not to go though with that thought Euclid also skimmed the contract and analyzed it, finding only a few loop holes and just wrote his name as he had fully understood the document better than even Wendy herself.
Finished signing, he slid the paper over to Wendy, "Great, were all finished now these two books and the brush now belongs to you, I wish you good luck on your journey and thank you for coming in today and I hope you have a good rest of your day!" she spoke up sounding cheerful to have Euclid finish singing the paper work.
"Ok, thanks for your time and for helping me out, and have a good a day to you as well!" Euclid responded back mimicking her cheerfulness before stacking up the two books along with the brush before walking away.
Deciding sit down for a moment and go through his new belongings; Euclid walked up to a bench and sat down before he quickly opened the note book before skimming it as well, but finding it absolutely empty with seemly nothing hidden he decided to toss the book to the trashcan a couple feet away from him as his own mind and processing power allowed him to have a very creative and thorough imagination with perfect memory, thus it worked better than any notebook and acted like a VR where he could write down his own thoughts and experiences, except it was all by thought and kept up with his own thought speed.
Along with the notebook he also threw out the guide book as he had already copied everything inside his mind beforehand as soon as he skimmed.
Now holding only the brush in his hand, he told his nanites body to absorb the brush, as soon as the command was given the brush began sinking into his hand like stick sinking into quicksand, as the brush was completely absorbed Euclid put his head on the back wall and closed his eyes before focusing on his mind and the inside of his body where the brush was located.
On the inside the nanites started to inspect every square nanometer of the outside brush compiling a large amount of data and information before Euclid took the information and started organizing and assembling the data creating a complete 3 dimensional image, when he was done the nanites started to invade the brush as if a damn had opened and started recording the atomic, molecular, and organic structures and other information which included what Elements and compounds the brush was made of as well as the organic parts of the brush, as it was mainly made out of wood and hair which ment he could analyze the biology slightly.
As the nanites were analyzing and recording data, Euclid was building and assembling the data into a complete model nearly just as fast as the nanites were compiling and sending him information until finally the only piece of the brush that was left was the core of Mana used to write rune, as Euclid came into contact with the Mana core it appeared to just be a lump of energy sometimes it looked like the interior flowed like liquid, other times it locked like a normal solid rock.
When Euclid sent his nanobots into the Mana core it was like they were going through quicksand or a ship slowly going through ice sheets, not to mention that the material or energy that the core seemed to be made of appeared to be disrupting how the nanites functioned and how the information was sent back to Euclid, which got back with either missing pieces or parts ending up corrupted, leading Euclid to start adapting the code and the frequency at which at which the nanites functioned as well as how information was sent back in a attempt to smooth out the sent info.
'Even though I'm using quantum entanglement as a means of sending information, I'm still getting data corruption which means that the problem probably lies with the nanites as nobody in my previous world, let alone this world, had access to the tools let alone the technological knowledge to mess with my technology, so it means that the Mana inside the core is having a bigger impact on technology compared to when mana was first introduced to the world, why does Mana have an aversion to scientific technology? The only reason my technology isn't falling apart even at this level is compared to humanity's civilization, my technology is more advanced and is slightly more resistant, but if I were to be hit with a Mana wave powerful enough beyond what earth experienced and how the Mana core acts then all my technology alongside myself could be destroyed since I'm still relent on a physical storage. So to stop a case of, let's call it Mana overdose, I and my technology needs to be both resistant and compatible with Mana so I need to find a way to integrate Mana with my nanites and the materials the nanites are made up of, so let's grab some of this Mana from the inside of this core.'
After Euclid started adjusting how the nanobots sent over information as that was the only way to adapt to Mana as of right now, he told one bot to grab a clump of Mana, the reason for grabbing a clump of Mana instead of moving a singular particle of Mana was because it was just to small, it was like comparing a grand of sand to an election, the nanobots being the sand and Mana being the election, the point was that a single Mana particle was just to small to grab a hold of, and as of right now even with how small his nanites were they were not at the level to grab something that small, so he just grabbed a clump.
Moving the clump along with all the other nanites outside the core, he noticed that he stopped getting interference, which conformed that he would need to change the structure along with the workings of the nanites in the near future, he could probably even change electricity to Mana as it seemed more controlled, versatile, which meant he could have more control over his technology, but the problem lies with the reactor, he can't just switch over to using Mana instead of electricity, because of the massive energy requirements to power all his nanites require Euclid has a reactor that produces enough energy; but if he switched to Mana with out a subsequent way to produce mana then he would lose all power in a couple minutes, even a normal person would be drained of all their energy in seconds at his most optimistic predictions if they used mana the way Euclid would, which meant he would need to create some sort of Mana reactor, but as of now Euclid still doesn't know how to integrate it into his tech let alone build a magic technology.
But just a Euclid pulled the mana outside the core he noticed that the Mana seemed to be attempting to return to the core, first thinking it was a gravitational attraction, he had to quickly cross it off the list for possible reasons as it wasn't being pulled towards the planet itself or anything else, just the Mana core, not to mention gravity doesn't seem to have much of a effect on Mana at its own particle level, then came the thought that it was magnetized, but from his own quick recordings, Mana was a neutral or had no charge like a noble gas but somehow it was still getting pulled towards the core which meant that Mana attracts each other slightly.
'If Mana attracts more Mana, then why doesn't it clump together in the atmosphere start hailing small Mana stones, is it because it's already compact that more Mana gathers , its said that people and beast who uses Mana have to either wait or actively gather it to recharge their own Mana cores, and I've read that Mana mines tend to have a higher Mana density than normal. I also found out that some weapons are made with Mana imbedded inside, not inside a core but throughout the entire material that also actively gathers Mana, which thus creates a more stronger compound and further more a more powerful weapon. Finally some of these weapons can form a 'spirt' or an artifact intelligence over time and since the artifact has an intelligence it can somehow control the Mana inside themselves as if they have imprinted on the Mana once it's inside themselves. If I myself can somehow integrate Mana into my material that make me up, I could possibly gain access to Mana, not nearly enough to power myself but I could gain resistance to Mana; while actively absorbing it slowly and with runes I could I could speed up the absorption, not to mention that I could possibly use magic, but first I need to find a way to bond Mana particles with normal material like titanium, carbon and other elements and compounds which means I need to get my hands on some of that Mana iron or Mana steel that's used by most low level magic blacksmiths to see how Mana binds to matter'
While Euclid had been thinking he had also attempted to bind some of the Mana clump to a few different elements like hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, silicone, titanium and other verity of elements he had, but none seemed to bind together so he had to find some materials that already had Mana bond to it to see and attempt to replicate the results.
Now done investigating the Mana and the brush too a significant degree and all that he could do as of now, he decided it was time to go, standing up he left the brush and Mana crystal inside his body and left it alone for the time being, and started walking towards the door, pushing it open he began walking towards his next destination, the training center.
