It's You

Demyan

"Oh it's you," her voice was laced with sarcasm. It sounded raspy and burnt which was far from her sweet and light tone.

"Are you okay?" I rushed to her and kneeled down, "Did something happen? Is it the baby?"

When I tried to reach out to hold her she slapped my hand away with a violence I had never seen in her, "Don't you ever fucking touch me again."

"Malia," I furrowed my eyebrows, "What's going on?"

"Where did you sleep last night?"

"What?"

"Where did you sleep last night Demyan?" she hissed, "Because I came home to spend time with you because I felt bad and you were nowhere. Vasilisa didn't know where you were either, so answer me where did you sleep last night?"

"I went out," I shrinked.
