“So our age difference doesn’t bother you?” Adam asked.
“You mean the contrast in our outward physical appearances?”
Adam’s eyebrows scrunched. “That’s an odd way of saying it, but, yeah, I guess.”
“No, it doesn’t bother me. You can say I’m young on the outside but old on the inside.”
“An old soul, eh?”
Eli smiled. How should I answer that?
“You know, I had a weird dream last night, about us?”
“Oh?”
“I dreamed we had known each other, in different places, different times. Get this; I thought one dream we both met in the desert, with the Great Pyramid in the background.”
“What were we doing in that dream?”
