“Remember Micha’s life and remember his love for you. Honor his death but continue to live.”
“How will I find him? Can you tell me?”
“I cannot tell you. Even if I wanted to, I cannot. Even for angels, we are bound by the rule of Time. We cannot go backward nor can we see into the future. Even the watchers can only sense the immediate future. We are not the Creator. We cannot fold time or be everywhere at the same time. Although we are creatures, formed out of energy, matter and light we exist only in the present. I know you are unfamiliar with some of the words I use but in time, if you listen and learn, and watch the humans you will understand.”
“It’s hard for me to let go,” said Eli.
“You must. Death is not the end. It’s not the end for Micha nor for you. You will live on. Learn as much as you can about this universe. When your time comes, when the time comes for everyone, you will join me and your mother in the Ether and Micha will be with you.”
