Bounty Hunters

"Are you talking about those robed men?" Yu Sheng body shook at the mention of these people.

"That's right. Did you think they won't find out that your still alive? Let me tell you something, those bounty hunters have a special crystal that can determine if their hunt is dead or alive. The moment they check it and realize you are not dead they will come searching for you." 

"If I were to guess, they are waiting outside this building for you right at this moment." Xu Lengyu exclaim.

"..."

Yu Sheng became quiet. He knew that it was impossible to escape those robed men. That's why he has been practicing using the Eternal Melody. He just never thought they would be on his tail so soon!

"So you knew all this time that they were trying to kill me?" Yu Sheng gaze suddenly grew cold at the thought that Xu Lengyu didn't step in when they killed the previous host. 

"I did." Yu Sheng frown at those words.

"Why the long look? Did you think I would interfere with something as trivial as the Xu Clan losing someone who is known as garbage?" Xu Lengyu shook his head at how simple minded Xu Wantian is. 

"A matter of fact. The only reason I am here right now was to figure out how you survived. That's why I sent one of my spies to tail you." 

"Who would have thought you would give me so many surprises. It makes me wonder if your still the same Xu Wantian." He declared with a strange look as if trying to determine if Yu Sheng was truly Xu Wantian.

Yu Sheng seeing that look became nervous. "Do you have any idea who could be trying to kill me?" Although Yu Sheng already had a name in mind on who hired these bounty hunters to kill him, he still asked in order to avert Xu Lengyu attention.

"I do." Xu Lengyu eyes changed swiftly causing Yu Sheng to sigh inside. 

"Do you want to guess?" He smiled as his playful nature came out making Yu Sheng roll his eyes.

"It's Xu Weizhe." Yu Sheng answered.

Not expecting Yu Sheng to know the answer his smile turn into a frown.

"If you knew why did you even ask?!" 

"I don't know, I guess I am bored." Yu Sheng replied nonchalantly. 

His answer made Xu Lengyu look at Yu Sheng for the first time in a different light. Yu Sheng could swear the look he gave him was one of acceptance.

"Wow. Death is so close yet you are here saying you are bored? I don't know if I should admire you for your bravery or call you a fool." Xu Lengyu admitted. 

As for Yu Sheng, he smiled at his comment. "Death? Since when we, the Xu Clan became afraid of the thing that made us what we are today?"

"Good point little brother! Xu Lengyu clapped with while praising Yu Sheng choice of words.

But don't forget your just a half-breed!" 

Of course, he didn't forget to end his praise without mocking Yu Sheng. 

"Bastard..." 

He cursed while looking at Xu Lengyu with hatred in his eyes. 

"So what are you going to do." Yu Sheng suddenly asked making Xu Lengyu surprised.

"What do you mean?" 

"Your going to deal with them right?" Yu Sheng smiled cunningly. 

"Deal with them? Why would I do that." Xu Lengyu chuckled not expecting Yu Sheng to say that. 

"Do you have memory loss or something? Have you forgotten that you owe me a favor?" Yu Sheng said causing a stunned look to appear on Xu Lengyu face. 

Seeing that expression made Yu Sheng laugh inside. This was the main reason he asked for a favor when Xu Lengyu was buying his pills. He knew he didn't have the power right now to deal with two unknown bounty hunters whose face he don't even know of much less their cultivation. 

'And just like that Xu Wantian, I solved one more of your stupid problems! You better be kneeling to me right now from heaven... or hell I guess.' Feeling as if he accomplished a huge achievement, Yu Sheng thought with unconcealable pride on his face. 

"Haha!" However, Xu Lengyu laughed loudly breaking him out of his thoughts. 

"Why are you laughing elder brother." Yu Sheng continue smiling. Even calling Xu Lengyu 'elder brother' thinking he was laughing because of how is little scheme worked on him. 

"Poor Little Brother." However, instead of what Yu Sheng was thinking Xu Lengyu looked a with a sad expression, making him look on with a doubtful look. 

"That favor has already been used." Looking at Yu Sheng prideful look falling he burst into more laughter. 

"You shameless bastard this isn't what we agreed on—" Furious that he won't meet the end of their bargain Yu Sheng slam his hand on the table, eyes filled with anger. 

His expression soon paused when he recalled something they just discussed a while back. 

"Kill yourself..." Cursing under his breath, Yu Sheng face became beaming red. He, the one known as the Little Business God back on earth was played!

"Your just figuring it out? This is why I look down on you people born outside the main branch." Xu Lengyu shook his head while looking at Yu Sheng in disdain. 

"You may inherit the Xu Clan intellect, but how much of it can you muster?" Yu Sheng hearing this face became even more red. 

'So stupid.' He thought, feeling humiliated. 

If Yu Sheng worded his words properly he wouldn't be in this situation. When he said that Xu Lengyu would owe him a favor he didn't specify when this favor must be completed. 

Xu Lengyu used this to his advantage by telling Yu Sheng that the Bounty Hunters are already on his tail which was very useful information to him right now causing the favor to be used up. 

If Yu Sheng simply told him to beat up the Bounty Hunters or kill them for him instead of asking for a favor that could be used at any time then maybe he could have Xu Lengyu agree to it. The only reason he didn't say this was because he was afraid Xu Lengyu would immediately decline since him helping Yu Sheng wouldn't necessarily benefit him even if he desperately wanted to Beauty Pills.

Xu Lengyu stared at Yu Sheng whose head was faced down as if ashamed that he was played. Wanting to tease him some more he was about to say some more discouraging words, but stopped. 

'As an elder brother I must always try to encourage my dear siblings.' He thought to himself forgetting that he was the reason Yu Sheng was currently in a bad mood. 

"Don't worry little brother with your strength those Bounty Hunters won't be able to touch you!" With a childish voice Xu Lengyu came closer to reassure Yu Sheng. 

"I think." In the end his voice changed to one filled with uncertainty. 

Yu Sheng who had a gloomy look raised his eye to stare at Xu Lengyu. His words still filled with anger. 

"Kill yourself." Spatting out the same words, Yu Sheng moved away and stared in the distance. Trying to figure out different ways to get out of his current predicament. 

"Your making me sad..." Holding his chest Xu Lengyu looked at Yu Sheng back as if his heart was broken. 

"Anyways, good luck surviving. If you do I will make sure to report it to father. If you don't... don't worry I will not be there to attend your funeral!" With a final laugh Xu Lengyu vanished from the office, leaving only his laughter echoing in the air.

"Bastard..." Yu Sheng muttered to himself feeling Xu Lengyu presences disappearing. He felt like he and Xu Lengyu will never get along with the amount of times he made him curse the same word over and over again. 

"Whatever, he's not important anymore. I shouldn't rely on unreliable people." Erasing Xu Lengyu from his mind Yu Sheng began thinking. 

"I shouldn't leave until the Eternal Melody headphones are off cooldown." 

"Then again will the Eternal Melody even be enough to handle the robed men?" Moving towards a window Yu Sheng stared outside at the world beneath. 

He was suddenly reminded of his time back at his father's company on earth. Every time there was something he wasn't sure of he would always come close to a window to stare at the outside. The sky, clouds, the people and vehicles moving about. 

It always managed to calm him down and currently Yu Sheng who was nervous about his pending doom immediately calm down. 

Just as Yu Sheng was staring outside the window he saw something bright illuminating the night sky. 

Eyes locked onto the bright object Yu Sheng wondered what was going on until he notice the light was flashing towards his location.

"What the hell is that.....!" 

BOOOOOM!

In mere seconds the light arrived at the window and shattered it, breaking the entire 20th floor windows. A explosion soon occur that blast the whole 20th floor in smoke and debris. 

The outside world began to panic as hundreds of people rush to safety. Away from the building that was currently on fire. 

As for the people in the building a lucky few managed to get out safety while those who were on the higher floors got trapped inside as the elevators begin to stop functioning and humans fill the stairway as they scream and run for their lives. 

The once busy area became chaotic. Police officers and firemen came rushing to the rescue, but will they arrive on time to save the people?

Will they arrive in time to save Yu Sheng? 

Can they even save Yu Sheng?

"Cough!" Yu Sheng covered his mouth as he choke for oxygen. Fire and smoke cover the 20th floor making it hard to breathe. 

When Yu Sheng saw the bright light flashing towards him he immediately ducked to the side managing to ignore some of the explosion. Nevertheless, his body still got hit by most of the impact yet for some reason all he suffered were light bruises and burnt skin. 

'Maybe the Yinyue Race has incredible sturdy skin?' He didn't know. All he knew was that he felt lucky that the system brought over his main body future potential to this body or who knows if he would still be alive. 

"Xu Wantian you brat you think you could escape by faking your death?" Just at that moment the voice of an man in his 30s echoed in Yu Sheng ears. 

Two robed men came out of no where making him mutter to himself while cursing.

"Xu Lengyu you bastard I will make you pay for playing with me!"
