Author's Note: This work has received major editing(compared to the other work) and has been reposted, do note that the original work is also mine though(Limitless Chat Group in the multiverse). Starting from chapter 7, it's all completely new content. I also figured out that, instead of posting every day and burning myself out juggling between writing and the rest of my life, I could get a release schedule... so here it is:

Release Schedule:

-Every Tuesday

-Every Friday

-Every Sunday

Extra Power Stones and I'll release extra chapters!!

thx 4 all the support! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

The following day, Cillian woke up at dawn to continue with his rigorous training schedule.

After a few hours of mastering the controlling aspect of his cursed technique, Cillian was finally able to precisely 'dismantle' what he intends, without affecting the surrounding areas unless he wills so.

Cillian then went downstairs where he was met by a cheerful Anya:

"Good morning Cillian, today's breakfast is really good, it's Mia Grand's famous bacon and scrambled eggs!!"

With a nonchalant expression that screamed disinterested, Cillian replied:

"Sure, thanks Anya."

'Cillian is probably unimpressed, I'll make sure it blows his mind!'

Anya thought while giving off a determined look. At the same time, a mysterious figure with shoulder length grey hair was peering into Cillian's soul, only to be rejected by the soul itself. Taking away any chance that the silhouette had of seeing his soul, by then, the figure muttered:

'Interesting, I'll make sure to keep an eye on you... Cillian.'

'What just happened? I think I felt something from within me burst out for a second...'

After savouring another incredible meal, leaving him speechless due to his own taste buds, Cillian was "forced" to apologise to Anya for side-eyeing her. Following that embarrassing moment, Cillian decided, without delay, to venture into the dungeon.

Having reached his destination, Cillian showed his adventurer licence and set foot through the dungeon's entrance. In the centre of the room, there was a ten meter long hole leading straight into the dungeon. Cillian limited himself to following the other adventurers who had way more experience. After descending the ten meter long hole through the stairway going around it, Cillian finally made it into the Upper Floors, more specifically, the 1st Floor.

Instantly spotting a green and plump goblin, Cillian proceeded to test his observation haki in a combat situation, evading its first few strikes. Getting enraged that it was getting played with, the goblin resorted to attempting to bite his opponent which, unfortunately for him, didn't work out either, instead, it got a broken nose in return.

After getting a grasp of his observation haki level, Cillian opted to dispatch the green monster. He simply flicked his middle and index finger, cutting the goblin's jugular vein, effectively killing it. Moments later, the goblin's body turned into particles and a tiny magic stone was left in its place.

A few hours later, at the 5th floor entrance, a handsome male, no older than 17, was there, resting. Cillian had stopped his killing spree for a few minutes to recover his stamina before going further down. Although he wasn't completely gassed out, Cillian knew that starting from the fifth floor, the usual weak monsters such as kobolds and goblins would be substituted by the stronger and more ferocious monsters such as the war shadows and killer ants.

*Sigh* 'It seems that, despite the fact that my stamina most definitely surpasses the best marathoners back on Earth, due to the constant use of "cursed technique: dismantle and cleave", it depletes pretty fast. On the next floor, after getting used to hunting its monsters, I should practice some hand to hand combat in case I'm in a dire situation where I can't rest and need to conserve as much energy as possible.'

Thinking about it a little more, Cillian asked:

'Great Sage, had I went for the patron god/goddess route, wouldn't I get the "magic" stat, which could work as another energy source?'

[Report: According to the information from the light novel, my calculations, and observation made to the adventurers around the city:

The "magic" stat works in a way that it temporarily converts stamina into another energy source. The higher the "magic" stat, the more effectively the conversion happens.

It is due to the preceding statement that the "Mind Zero" effect occurs. Since stamina is converted/consumed without the body naturally regulating it, once stamina reaches critical levels (too much magic is used), the body automatically "switches off" conserving and replenishing as much energy as possible.

Conclusion: Acquiring the "magic" stat wouldn't improve usable duration of "cursed technique: dismantle and cleave"

Solution: Focus future growth on stamina]

'Oh, ok.'

Noted Cillian as if Great Sage didn't make Danmachi's discovery of the century.

While resting, Cillian contemplated, simply by feeling a portion of the thrill of the dungeon, he immediately understood why, even though being an adventurer is arguably the most dangerous occupation in the world, so many people, from all around the world, come to Orario.

Half an hour passed, and Cillian, having had enough rest to fully recover his strength, headed into the 5th Floor.

'It seems my recovery time has also been enhanced.'

A few minutes into his journey, a group of war shadows slowly approached Cillian, assessing his skills and treating him as prey. Without giving them time to prepare, Cillian dashed toward the closest war shadow. Imitating a claw with his hands, he slashed the monster's neck, ending its life.

The rest of the war shadows, despite being monsters, were essentially a modified breed of dogs. With a cold expression, immense power, and formidable claws, the human-like figure had awakened the dormant instinct within the war shadows—the fight-or-flight response.

I don't have any experience writing fighting scenes, so I tried to keep them short, were they enjoyable?

Hope you all enjoyed the chapter
