I always wished to be accepted by my surroundings. I tried to change myself for that reason. But, I don't care if I'm disliked. I don't care if I don't have a place where I belong. I don't mind if everybody rejects me starting tomorrow. I will even become a devil for the person who is trying to protect me.

"I love you." He whispered into her ear.

Renna shot up in bed, breathing heavy. 

With one hand covering her wildly beating heart, she tried to get a grip on herself. Just now, what was she thinking? Never would she have thought she would hear the words 'I love you' come from a man. No, that's not what shocked her. What shocked her was the identity of the man who said those words to her.
