SUMIRE

He not only masks it but helps unmask it. He masks it only until she's ready.

'He really is a kind person, although I know Toh would say so otherwise.'

Before Sumire could say anything the doors opened revealing grey hair. Oh! Standing in the doorway was none other than Iwa Ran.

"Sorry about this. But can I borrow her for a minute?" Ran asked.

Seeing Ran direct that question at Takano, her sweat fell. It seems word must have gotten round about Takano being controlling, and being in charge of everything.

"Takano?" Sumire said.

She was already forming a plan to plead her case but to her surprise Takano nodded.

"Alright alright, even if I say no you'd sneak off at some point and leave anyway. "

Well he isn't exactly wrong. But in this instance it's because she doesn't want Ran losing his temper, and getting annoyed for being denied.
