47 Forgotten Sanctuary I

As Cyra was looking further and further away the sight of a giant creature caught her eyes, unlike anything that she has ever seen in the Sea of Souls this creature actually had a body, it was ridiculously big compared to humans, the system was even more surprised!

[Origin: As the name implies, Lava Hounds are mad from Lava, the soul must have possessed a Lava Core than with the use of it's Essence formed it's own body, since the soul didn't have much Essence to begin with this process took a long time and the soul gradually ran out of form options]

[Body Analysis: Their appearance is similar to that of a regular dogs but they have fundamental differences such as reinforced legs and strong claws similar that of cats, they also excellent in stealth hunting even though their body materials are pretty heavy, due to this their; body pretty much indestructible ]

[Side Note: Essence or not these things are completely blind, they can't even use Essence to sense creatures that are further than 3m around them, I'm still clueless why they have body parts to creat fireball]

[Origin: This is an options for those souls who had Essence 50 or below, unlike the Lava Dogs these souls had enough time and Essence to take this form, these bodies are incredibly fast and durable also can be repaired quite easily due to it's structure]

[Body Analysis: They are bodies of noble and strong souls of the underworld, their have 4 strong legs, that can support the strength of their heads, they each have 2 heads one is for constantly firing fireballs, the upper head is used for fireballs while the lower had used for bitting their enemies, to balance out the 2 heads they have 3 tails depending from the situation they can stuck their tails into the ground to gain a stable position to fire]

[Side Note: They are a nice touch if Host ever plans holding a Halloween Party]

[Origin:The Original Death Knight birth place must have been the depths of the Sea of Souls, to draft the Bone Dust into strong Bones there is a need for insanely big pressure, at some point after the birth it must have ventured outside of the Sea and received it's armor, than an even later point probably thanks to it's achievements it received a promotion and was granted do right to further upgrade their bodies]

[Body Analysis:The Fiery Death Knights are very tall and strong undeads, their body has a skeleton resembling something similar to humans, there are 3 noticeable differences, the first one is their body made out of double or even triple bones in one of their arms or legs, if they prefer using heavy swords their strength in the wielding arm will be much greater so their bones are placed according to their needs,the second is that their skeleton somewhat fused with their armor it's makes both more durable for fighting as for the third it's as their name says they are fiery which makes them capable of emitting constant flames from their eye holes and their mouths]

[Origin:The Massangers are Titans of the underworld, they were created by one of the strongest souls, they usually set their birthplace close to the core of the world, so they can have unlimited materials to form their bodies without any obstacles]

[Body Analysis: The Massanger seems to somewhat resemble a dragon, to be exact it has a head of a Giant Lizard, while it body resembling a Gorilla, the body is plated with scales made of some rather strong materials but they doesn't seem to be that useful a scale just dropped of it… there is also 4 wing looking things on it's back but it is incapable of flight because of how heavy it's body is, there is also a giant tail for balancing purposes]

The moment the System finished Cyra immediately collapsed on the spot, currently the strength difference was way to big and none of the approaching creatures tried to hide their killing intent most of the weaker humans died from fright when they heart stopped beating, while the lucky ones managed to escape by crushing their necklaces, there were also the unlucky ones who were slaughtered by the Hordes of Lava hounds or Souls, well both were equally horrifying deaths.

The team that was following Cyra has also suffered casualties such 5 of their members died while the rest passed out similar to Cyra.

The next time she came to her senses the storm has became even worse on top of that Lava Dogs were roaming on the surface chasing survivors but the rest of the creatures has already left, she couldn't sense them no matter how hard she tried to look for them, after making sure that the Lava dogs weren't alerted by her movements she decided to proceed deeper into the cave system.

The place inside was relatively small, she could hardly continue climbing down, but than she saw a rift on the wall of the cave as she entered it, there was a proper Hall way on the other side, as she continued to explore she found a bridge, there was multiple bridges leading to the other side just like hers, there was a giant river deep under her, it was cold very cold, some of the lower bridges were frozen in ice thankfully she was on a higher point, but she still could feel the coldness.

She once again used her ability to feel her surroundings, than used Force control to regain the original strength that she had just in case, as her strength has increased by ten fold, her feet directly created a giant hole in the bridge, than cracks could be heard as the middle of the bridge fallen into the river.

Not long after this, she was alerted by the sound of howls as tens of Lava Hounds were alerted by the falling bridge, they didn't bother to search for a cave to go down instead they directly started digging under them selves, it didn't take long for them to fall through the cave ceiling, the lucky ones has landed on the bridges while the unlucky ones bodies fallen into the river and instantly frozen than as more and more fallen they shattered them and souls started to emerge from the bodies.

Cyra didn't hesitated and instantly jumped across the hole and started spring towards the other side, she couldn't stay here any longer she had to find an escape route from these hunting dogs, after leaving the bridge she was once again inside a cave but it was much larger as she continued forward she entered inside a giant coliseum there were hundreds of entrances that opened into different floors, soon the Lava Hounds started to flood inside from different Engels, because Cyra stopped moving they couldn't find her anymore and they started aimlessly scatter in the underground space.

She used her full strength to jump across the arena to the other side, while once again causing a collapse, this time the falling rocks has buried and destroyed more than half of the remaining Lava Hounds, as she landed on the other side she used fly to land as quiet as possible than after making sure that none of hounds could here her she continued forward.

She spent around 4 hours walking inside the tunnel, occasionally she could still hear the howls of the Lava Hounds soon she saw a small door in the distance as she got closer she saw that it was a giant gateway, there was 3 giant locks on it with 2 already broken and the 3rd barely keeping together, she used her full strength and successfully broke the 3rd lock, there was nothing to think about since she couldn't go back where she came from so after breaking the lock she slowly opened the door.

The other side led to a road that was high up above an endless abyss as she looked down she could see the depths of it, only the falling Magma into the deep darkness, as she walked on the path soon a temple came into here view, It wasn't anything out of ordinary as she got closer and opened the door she noticed blood flowing on the floor, as she followed the blood she found stairs, as she walked down there was a faint unease inside her, it wasn't as strong as when the horde came in the Sea Of Souls but nothing less it was still present.

As she continued to descend further down she found another door, this was a heavy metal door fabricated by different metals but here the lock was a formation, she knew how to draw symbols but she had no idea how to break them, as she cluelessly observed.

System how can I break this formation?

[Use Essence to erase those Symbols!]

This is how you usually break formations?

[Yes, it's easier when you know what formation your facing because than you only have to waste time on the core Symbol, but we currently don't know this so Host has to take guesses until the correct one is found]

Sigh…

Cyra started erasing symbols with great anticipation but soon she realized that it won't be that easy it took her 12 hours to remove one symbol with great hardship since the person who created this seal must have been much stronger than her, soon days went by until one day Cyra managed to crack the formation, as it was falling apart she could hear a faint scream from behind saying, - "Noooooo!" But as she turned around there was nobody around her, not even a soul.

She must have imagined since the system had no reaction what so ever, as the formation has faded away the rest of the door became visible for the naked eye, there was hundreds of locks on the door but each and everyone of them has rotted away only some of the corroded remains of the chain locks could be seen, she removed these locks and slowly opened the door.

She once again found her self in a cave to be more precise it was a cavern unlike before there was hundreds of rotten corpses were laying around, but as she walked pass them they stood up one by one they weren't practically strong but the numbers were a bit scary, these corpses had no soul, only the bodies were not completely dead they still had fragments of Essence inside them, each corpse had an unknown symbol inscribed on their foreheads, these symbols were glowing blood red, as she was looking at them motionlessly she could see another strange phenomenon accrue as the walls started to bleed and the blood was sucked into the symbols, than the voice she heard before started speaking the same sentence again and again, - "The First line of defense of our holy land our fallen disciples who sacrificed their body and soul to stay and forever guard the entrance of the Emin Sanctuary, wake up holy guardians and kill the invaders who have disturbed your eternal sleep!"

With each repeat the flow of blood became faster and faster the corpses gradually regained their original appearance and their strength risen further until it stopped at [Int: -] [Str: 5] [E:0.01] , even though they gained more strength they were without any intelligence what so ever they were just puppets at this point, Cyra had a questioning expression on her face since they clearly had no soul and they were brain dead so what eternal sleep does the voice talking about these are clearly empty shells.
