Chapter 2

I looked around more walking around the small town. There were a few shops and restaurants here and there but almost all of them were closes at this hour of the night.

"well of course they'd be closed. it's not like a lot of people shop at night" said a dreamy voice inside my head

Oh my God wait are you in my head

"yea and I can read your thoughts too, oh and it's oh my goddess as of right now because you know I'm the crimson lady of pain and the ruler of the first universe among the multiverse. Eterna is my name by the way"

umm okay Eterna but this is honestly kinda freaky and why do I have this sword that is holster To my right waist gesturing there

"That my friend is the crimson blade AND DON'T USE IN ANYWHERE NEAR HERE OR YOU'LL BLOW UP THIS PLACE IN A MATTER OF SECONDS," she remarked immediately in a serious tone which took no time at all to understand and follow.

okay but I'm feeling a little hungry so imma go get something outta these restaurants that are open right now.

I moved down the streets to find a restaurant that was relatively empty and was open. So I entered and took a seat. The restaurant was divided into small rooms and big rooms with the small being able to fit about two people and the big being able to fit about 10 people. The tables were made out of smooth and polished acacia wood and the floorboards were made from light brown oak. There was a silver bell at the center of the table most probably to call for the waiters.

"what are you doing here Vanessa," said Eterna in his head with a clear hint of annoyance

"oh my! so rude," Said another voice that sounded a lot like Eterna's but it sounded lighter.

"move outta here, I'm here, and what about supervising your own universe," said Eterna.

"Oh, I asked vex to freeze time there so I can come here and see the chosen one for the crimson blade" she said "but he'll probably die trying, you know it's too strong, and also Bal finally mastered the violet blade."

"So you basically came here to brag about your chosen one being better?" she asked growing more agitated

Can I get an explanation, please

"Oh of course," said the voice Which supposedly belonged to the woman named Vanessa "like my friend Eterna here I'm also a lady ruler - while she is the lady of pain and the lord of universe 1, I'm the lady of sound and the lord of universe 2, Vex as I mentioned is the lord of time and the lord of universe 3."

she explained

Okay, so there are others like me?

"Well you could say that but they aren't even close to the power level of the crimson blade of course."

and are there more?

"yea there is," said a deep yet melodious voice "I am nexus the lord of light And lord of universe 4" he explained.

okay, why are there 3 gods speaking INSIDE MY HEAD?!

"Clam down and close your eyes for a moment" Chimed in Eterna in her usual carefree tone.

well okay.

I closed my eyes and suddenly found myself disappearing in physical form

"Impressive, you did it first try," said Vanessa

"Yes quite the skill in accessing the pocket dimension on your first try"

as I opened my eyes there were blinding lights all around me and it then dissipated. I looked around to find a man clad in a long white robe the went from his neck all the way down, it was plain but emitted this glow that can't be explained in words, it was dull yet bright in a way. He was presumably Nexus

Next to him, there was a woman wearing a purple gown that extended to her foot and she wore a light shade of pink in her shoes - most probably Vanessa.

And next to her was a wisp of red that didn't seem to have a body and instead looked like a soul that roamed free - most probably Eterna because she had mentioned she was stuck in the chain of oxer or something

"It's oxraw you idiot" Eterna said

"Oh yea you could read my mind" I muttered.

"Well now I guess I'll increase your pain tolerance to the point where the worst torture wouldn't hurt...here goes"

"wait what?" I said but before I could say anything else a wave of pain engulfed my body, every muscle In it felt like it was on fire (that went through complete combustion) Every bone in my body ached, every cell felt like it was being torn up from the inside when the pain suddenly stopped.

I fell onto the ground of this Golden room looking place gasping for breath. but that last but I felt great

As I felt a long sword go through my abdomen but felt nothing.

"Ah, it worked," Said Vanessa "did you know once she lowered the pain tolerance of Vex because he annoyed her and he said moving a tiny muscle in his body felt like pure agony, and he never bothered her again. Thing is she is pretty scary."

"certainly can disagree with that" Said nexus flinching as he recalled the incident

"Yep you gotta be careful around me, Now let's Train"
