Meeting A Tsundere Crow

Yun Family Home ( Illusory Demon Realm)

As the sun rises on a new day in the illusory Demon Realm, we find the Yun family home. In a bit of a surprising scene, the Yun family bows to Emilio after they have finished their meal.

Yun QingHong's voice quivered with emotion as he spoke, "Lord Emilio, I am deeply grateful for all the blessings you have bestowed upon our family. Please know that the Yun family stands ready to offer our unwavering support whenever you may need it."

Emilio smiled at his wife, his expression serene.

Emilio then simply replies "There is no need to bow, and there is no need to offer eternal servitude. I simply did what I did to establish peace within the Demon realm so that the conflict may not bleed over into other realms".

Emilio thought that this line of thinking is inherently selfish, so there was no need to believe that he was a selfless person.

The family then rises from their previous position with Mu Yurou asking" Lord Emilio, may I ask who this woman is?".

"Everyone this is my wife Li Suo, the Goddess of Life" Emilio replied which surprised them yet again.

The goddess of life, then rose from her seated position and good-naturedly bowed to them slightly while saying "I thank you for taking care of my husband. He tends not to think of his actions too far ahead, but his heart is in the right place".

Emilio then proceeded to keel over as if he was just shot while saying "My wife I planned this, I did not just do this on a whim".

With her just looking at him with a firm. Yes, you did look while the Yun family looked on in confusion and some more disappointment in profound gods.

In an attempt to avoid further embarrassment, Emilio steered the conversation in a different direction. "Old Demon," he said, "perhaps we should bring that demon and the Demon Emperor's Crest to the palace." The old demon simply nodded in agreement.

The goddess of life chuckles at her husband's antics, amused by his attempts to avoid further embarrassment. She turns to Emilio and says, "I'll stay here. I want to discuss things further with the Yun family. Have fun, boys."

The old demon looks like he wants to respond to being called a child. He then remembers how old a creation goddess is but doesn't decide to say anything because speaking a woman's age is essentially a freeway to getting a smack in the face and remains silent.

Emilio and the Old Demon then leave the hall and head towards the Imperial Palace, which is guarded by more guards, which then proceed to accost the two.

"You two! Stay right where you are both of you have trespassed on hallowed ground, identify yourselves or be removed forcefully". One guard says while readying his weapon.

The old demon revealed the Yoon family's crest, leaving the guards in shock as they believed it was lost with their previous General. They quickly realized the significance of the crest and began bowing while apologizing profusely.

The old demon then leads Emilio to the throne room, which is currently occupied by a young, beautiful-looking woman, which does generally surprise Emilio due to how young she looks. Still, then he remembers, cultivator BS, and moves on.

The young woman then notices the two as she is discussing matters relating to her Kingdom, with her fellow Dukes, with two of the Dukes, in particular, looking quite angry that the old demon has returned.

The two Dukes don't show it on their faces, but Emilio has already read all of their minds to identify who was a traitor and who was not, but he shall let the old demon have this performance.

The old demon then proceeds to bow before the Queen of the Demon Realm As, He says with a dutiful tone, "My Queen. This old demon has returned with both the Yun Family Crest and the Demon Emperor's Crest".

The Queen's expression transforms from one of shock to a mix of shock and excitement - the first good news she's heard in a long time. However, some of the Dukes respond by yelling at the older man.

"Preposterous!"

"That's Impossible".

"This man is a fake posing as our venerable general".

Yun Canghai, the old demon, revealed his profound handle by unleashing his cultivation base. He boomed with a commanding voice.

"Silence! I am Yun Canghai. I am aware that my realm is in political disarray, but I have returned." He then subtly flicked his finger and closed off all the exits.

Before the other Dukes have any time to respond, the queen then speaks in a regal tone "Old General, I believe that is enough, but before we move on as to how you have returned, who is this man next to you as I cannot since his cultivation base?".

Emilio then takes this time to introduce himself by saying. "Your Majesty, this one's name is Emilio Reese, the Profound God of Freedom and Evolution. I have come to this realm, sensing the chaos within and seeing a future in which your Kingdom leads to its destruction. Thus, I have taken steps to avoid that".

But before anyone can respond to what Emilio has said, he spreads out his cultivation base, which covers the entirety of the illusory demon realm, suppressing everyone within, regardless of cultivation level. But after a couple of minutes, he lets go.

"I believe we have a business to attend to". Emilio says with a smile.

"Yes I believe we do," says the demon queen.

The demon queen then proceeds to introduce herself, while bowing to the profound God, "

"Venerable Senior this queen's name is Huan Caiyi and I thank you for returning our general to his position. If there is any boon, you would seek, I shall do my best to grant it".

In a calm tone of voice, Emilio addresses the room by saying "Your Majesty, while I am eager to discuss rewards I have to first acknowledge that there are more pressing matters to attend to first".

He then directs his attention toward Duke Huai and Duke Ming, highlighting the influence of traitors in the court.

With a smile, the Demon Queen turns to Emilio and asks, "My Lord, who in my court is plotting against me?"

Emilio smiles back and responds, "Your Majesty both Duke Ming and Duke Huai are currently traitors to your realm, as they have not only been killing your authority, but they have also led to the deaths of the previous royal family and also the imprisonment of the old demon".

The room is then flooded with killing intent from both the Old Demon and the Demon Queen as they look on with utter disgust and rage at the two government officials with them shaking in their boots.

Because even though their higher cultivation bases are at the peak of the Mortal Realm, they understand that in the presence of a God, they are nothing but ants.

Emilio then goes up to the two; Dukes, lifting them into the air with his hands on their necks, and says in a rough tone, "You both have betrayed your realm and nearly led it to its ruin. You have destroyed the peace your realm has tried to foster for hundreds of years, and for what power, wealth, and women? Confess!".

The two then begin to out their cohorts, in an attempt to gain a lighter sentence, which then only leads to a quick death at the hands of Emilio.

As every single person that betrayed the demon realm is dealt with swiftly after being notified of their patriarch's betrayal.

You may think why did Emilio let the families live, and simply not wanting to be a child killer, nor a slayer of those that were innocent in the plot? It was simple, they were not strong enough.

The only reason those two even gained traction was due to their sovereign realm, cultivation base. As well as the loss of authority of the royal family, due to the loss of the seal, and the fact that the queen could not inherit the golden crows' arts.

After a couple of days of clearing out different pockets of traitors led by the old demon, Emilio and the demon queen are left alone in the throne room.

The Demon Queen then bows to Amelio while saying, "Lord Emilio, Your actions have singularly saved this realm, and I lack the means to thank you without giving up everything".

Emilio, being a principled man, did not consider taking advantage of the situation by making her his bride. Instead, he asked her to take him to the Valley of Storms to meet the golden crow as a way for her to show gratitude towards him.

The demon queen then relaxed and allowed him to go with her to meet the golden crow. The two then head to the Golden Crow's lightning flame valley, with lightning and fire striking everywhere, with the demon queen looking subtly nervous, but then Emilio chuckles and shields both of them.

After parting the fire and the flames like Moses, Emilio then finds a presence watching them as he looks up to the sky and shouts in an authoritative tone, "Show yourself these games are unnecessary".

A stunning woman with white hair suddenly appears, dressed in a belly dancer's attire reminiscent of a classic Arabian movie.

The white-haired woman then proceeds to snort derisively in Emilio's direction while saying arrogantly, "This one did not allow any of you into the Valley, and it's only because you interest me that I even allowed it".

Before the woman can continue to rant, Emilio then proceeds to say "Be Silent" simply, and reality seems to bend to his will as the woman is silenced.

The Golden Crow, then shocked, decides to look deeper into this mysterious man and finds that she cannot read him, which shocks her to the core, and she asks quietly, "Who are you?".

Emilio then responds while pointing to himself, "I am Emilio Reese, the God of Freedom and Evolution, and I have come to bargain with you, Golden Crow".

The Golden Crow, then intrigued, asks Emilio, "why should I even accept this bargain God of Freedom?".

Emilio simply responds, "Do you not wish to fly through the skies unhindered by any other force? To live again, but not under the yoke of oppression?".

The Golden Crow then considers this and says, "I can sense the Phoenix on you. Have you returned her to life?".

Emilio then responds to her by saying "Yes, I have, and she is currently guarding a clan of her descendants on their world, which I have given them where they shall grow in peace, unfettered and unhindered".

The golden crow then seemingly grimaces and says, "If you return me to life, I will not only give you my arts and my blood but my very essence".

Emilio then quickly responded by saying "I only need your art and blood. I do not need your essence".

The Golden Crow then simply asks "Why with my essence, you could use my art much more easily?".

Emilio then says "I am a God of Freedom for a reason. I am offering you this not for my gain, at least not totally, but for your freedom, as all beings deserve, to live and fly unhindered. While many believe that their time has passed, that is simply coming to terms with their mortality and accepting that they will not last forever, unlike you, Divine beasts".

Emilio expressed his wish for the return of the Divine Beasts to safeguard the people he will send to his Heavenly Nexus realm.

He emphasized that the beings need not act as wardens or guards, but only respond to extreme emergencies. Apart from that, they can have the freedom to do as they please.

The Golden Crow then considers this deal and nods her head while smiling and says "It has been a long time since I've stretched my wings. I accept your deal. God of Freedom, so take your prize for amusing this crow".

As the golden Crow sends a drop of her blood toward him, Emilio chuckles and accepts the inheritance.

His flames grow stronger than ever, enabling him to incinerate not only objects and souls but also concepts. With this newfound power, he is one step closer to the formless realm.

Emilio then begins to reconstitute the Golden Crow, and as he liked the form that she was in, he kept it the same.

For the others, he had no defined physical human form for them, but for the Golden Crow. She presented herself in that form so that he will keep her like that.

Once the crow was successfully reconstituted, the sender sent her through a portal to the Heavenly Nexus realm with the hope that she will visit the Phoenix and make amends.

However, he turns towards the demon Empress and suggests that they have a discussion with her, nodding as they head back to the palace.

But not before Emilio pockets, the Lightning Seed in his inventory of course.
