Escaping My Reality - Episode 13

"Where are you going? We've been looking for you. We're going to the PUB to welcome our New Employee" Luna said.

Luna suddenly notices Zane Leo beside her and she sets aside Nayla and says..

"Ohh! Hi Zane! How are you?"

"I'm fine, I can't believe you left your friend to me" 

"Ohh.. don't worry it's fine. She's a grown-up anyway, she can handle herself."

After saying that, Nayla is about to smack the head of Luna but Laurence interferes. 

"So Luna, where are we going to eat?"

"Hmm.. well in-- ohh wait I almost forgot. Zane Leo this is Laurence Vern Reid our new employee and Zane Leo is the owner of the Pub nearby."

The strong gaze between the two men is so immense that you can feel it through your skin and the tension is getting stronger.

"It's nice to meet you, Zane" Laurence said.

"It's nice to meet you too, Laurence" Zane said.

"Why does it feel like my skin itches suddenly?" Luna said while rubbing her arms.

"Anyway, I'm gonna go enjoy your gathering together," Nayla said to escape.

"Not so fast! You're coming along with us since you're our Boss. You're gonna treat us." Luna said while holding into Nayla's arms.

"No, I don't want to" Nayla Strongly refused.

"Ohh come on! We're gonna be so busy tomorrow that we're not gonna have time to welcome Laurence. Please Nayla! Pleeaasseee~" 

Luna said in a cute voice but it was irritating Nayla's ear.

"We don't have to celebrate, looks like Nayla wants to rest. We can celebrate it next ti--." Luna cuts what Laurence is about to say and still insists.

"No! She's not easily get tired and it's just once in a while."

"Fine, I'm gonna cut it in your salary, Let's go now, I wanna go home immediately."

While Luna is complaining to Nayla about her Salary they still went to the PUB of Zane.

"Call my staff if you're ready to order, I have work to do."

"Sure, sure! I know you're busy anyway." Luna said in a lively voice.

When Zane leaves, Luna starts to annoy Nayla.

"Soooo... What did you guys talk about? You both disappeared suddenly." Luna asks while smiling creepily.

"Nothing, let's just order." Nayla tries to ignore Luna and calls the server.

"Ohhh you're hiding something, did you end up sleeping with him?" Luna asks.

While Laurence is flustered, Nayla stares at Luna with an intent to kill in her eyes. She probably killed her in many ways just by imagining it.

"Of course, not! Why do you even ask me that?" Nayla asked.

Laurence interrupts and asks Nayla with a smile on his face.

"Nayla, Are you dating Zane or anyone?"

"Huh? No, and I'm not dating anyone. What's with the weird questions from you both?!" Nayla answered with an annoyed face.

"Nothing, I'm just curious," Laurence said and felt relieved. 

They're bonding the whole night, drinking and talking, while Zane is checking at Nayla from afar since he's too busy to attend to their table. Zane is worried that Nayla will become drunk again and someone he doesn't know takes her somewhere, so he's counting how many bottles Nayla already drank. 

Meanwhile, a woman wearing revealing clothes comes to Zane and intends to flirt with him.

"Hi, I'm Ava. I can't help but stare at how handsome you are."

"Is there anything you need?" Zane said in a cold voice.

"I need you to take me out somewhere alone, just the two of u--"

When Zane saw Nayla open another bottle he rushed out to their table ignoring the girl talking in front of him and stopped her from drinking.

"That's enough, you can't handle alcohol" Zane took her bottle. 

"Hey, I can still drink," Nayla said.

"No, you should go home now--"

"I can take you home, Nayla," Laurence said.

"I can't trust you, so I'll be the one to take her home," Zane said with a serious face and he held Nayla's arm.

"I'm her employee, and you don't have any time to escort her home. so I suggest that you just go back to work." 

While the intense stare gazing started, Luna was amazed by what was happening. 

"I'll go home by myself! I'm not a kid anyway I can handle myself." Nayla said while getting pissed on them both, so she stood up and calls for a taxi to go home. 

Laurence and Zane follow Nayla outside and check if she safely enters the car. Laurence asks the driver to take her home safely, after Nayla leaves he approaches Zane Leo.

"I notice you're staring at her the whole time. Why are you doing that?"

"It's none of your business, you should head home too. I think you're drunk already." Zane Leo said.

"I'm not drunk, I didn't drink a lot either. You don't have to be concerned about her when I'm here." 

"I don't trust you, you just appeared from nowhere. If you have any bad intentions for her, I won't let you be."

Meanwhile, they forgot they left Luna alone.

"She forgot to pay! I don't have much money."
