We meet again.

Nicolai tucked in his phone just in time to see Ari tucking her own phone back in the pocket of her shorts. She then smiled at her dog before walking away. Elegantly at that, she was walking as if she were on a runaway and the responsibility for the success of the show depended on her shoulders.

Her hips sashayed left and right, while her waist moved along with the movements of her hips.

"This is something that I can get used to," Nicolai muttered as his eyes gazed up and down at the slender back, but then he raised his hands and pinched his cheeks. "Focus damn it. She is married, even if she is going to divorce very soon. Her status remains the same for the time being."

After bringing his mind back from the gutter and stacking it where it should be, Nicolai chased after Ari. He wasn't even surprised that her routine was the same, she stopped by the bakery next to the apartment building at the end of the street.

She bought a croissant and a black coffee. No cream or sugar. How did she even survive without sugar? Sugar was the epitome of ambrosia. Sure enough, she was a psychopath.

Then she headed to the park that was right next to the apartment building, snapped a few images of the flowers that were blooming in the park, and then started to play with her pet dog with the Frisbee that she brought along with her.

All of her movements were determined, perfected and planned. Believe him when he said that the woman even did a few demo throws to make sure that the Frisbee would go in the direction she wanted.

Ari did not want anything to go against her devised plans.

No wonder it took her three freaking years to divorce that dumbass, she was too freaking scared of changes.

Nicolai was willing to bet every penny in his account that Ari had never ridden a roller coaster ride. With how planned and careful her personality was, she must shun anything too thrilling.

"What a boring life," Nicolai felt almost sorry for her because there was nothing left in life if there was no fun. Almost. If not for the fact that he was itching to wreck into her life like a cannonball and set everything on fire.

He wanted to see what kind of reactions Ari would have when her life was completely out of her control.

His lips curled up in a smirk as he muttered, "No better time than now, was it?"

He walked towards her in a slow, deliberate gait, he was just here to tease her a little such that he could become a thorn according to the man who called him a mutt and nothing else. Nothing was better than him getting under the skirt——the skin of Noah Nelson's wife.

No matter how unwanted Ari was in the life of her so-called husband, Noah wouldn't appreciate him getting close to his wife, right? That would teach him a lesson to think twice before calling him vulgar names.

That was all.

That was it.

He caught up to her in no time, he was just a few feet behind her as Timmy rushed to catch the Frisbee that she had thrown for him to catch. Her lips curled in a smile as her hair rustled in the wind while she crouched down, showing off the full curve of her bottom while clapping her hands for Timmy to catch the Frisbee quickly.

"Come on, boy, you can do it!" She cheered the dog, who increased his pace as if he knew what his master wanted.

'Damn, she is mesmerizing,' Nicolai thought as his faze flitted to her round globes. All peachy and perfect.

How did Noah even keep his hands off this perfection? Was he in the right state of his mind? Or was he gay?

Because if he was married to her, Nicolai wouldn't have been able to keep his hands off Ari. Forget about three years, even three hours would be long for him.

Ari was too lost in watching her dog catch the Frisbee because she did not notice him standing right by her side. Now he was supposed to only tease her a little, but it was simply impossible to pull away from this spell that she had cast on him.

Damn it. She should be the one to be blamed for this, but as he was a gentleman, he would take the blame for her.

So when Timmy rushed back with the Frisbee and pounced on her, Nicolai wrapped his arm around her waist as he whispered into her ear, "It has been three days since you last saw me, do you miss me, Mrs Nelson?"

Ari, who had been smiling, stiffened as she immediately pushed him away. Goosebumps erupted all over her skin as she whipped around and looked at the man behind her.

Her eyes were wide in alarm and shock as she couldn't understand what this man was doing here or more importantly, how he found her.

She was someone who liked her peace. Her life was fixed in a certain routine that she hardly changed, so imagine her freaking surprise when Nicolai De Luca, who shared no part in her life or her routine, suddenly popped out of nowhere.

Her eyes stared at the waste of space of a human whom she had been trying to wash off her head and body. And she also succeeded in it, as there was nothing that Ari couldn't do if she were to set her mind on it.

But now that Nicolai was standing in front of her, Ari felt like all her efforts had gone to waste, and she hated when this happened. Because it meant that she had to do it all over again.

Her lungs heaved in quick bursts as she questioned, "What are you doing here, Mister De Luca?"

"Appreciating the beauty of nature?" He innocently answered while his eyes stared at her.

And Ari regretted not bringing a jacket with her. For the man was looking at her as if he wanted to ravage her.
