Provoking her

"What are you laughing at?" The lackey questioned with a frown.

"At you," Glynn snorted. She then moved her shoulders a little in a delicate motion and raised her chin before saying, "If it's the latest model, then you all can just go down the parking lot and ask the valet for the keys. My brother bought that car for me on the very day it was launched and even had it delivered three days later."

Her eyes slowly shifted toward Erica who stiffened after hearing her words, and Glynn decided to add salt to her injury. She added, "My car is also a limited edition, you will never find a second model like mine."

No sooner did she finish speaking, than both Erica and her lackey turned red in shame and embarrassment. The two of them tried to show off but forgot that the one who was richest among them was Glynn, there was no way they could show their wealth off in front of Glynn, the princess of the Nelson family.

"Oh…that's…that's great," Carl laughed as he tried to smoothen things up. He cursed himself for bringing up the car's discussion, if he had known this would be how things would turn, he wouldn't have said such a thing.

In fact, if not for the fact that his girlfriend asked him to invite Erica and Regal, he wouldn't have even extended his invitation to these two people, much less Erica's lackey. His father had told him again and again that he should never offend Glynn, who was Noah's sister.

However, for the sake of his girlfriend, Carl could only turn a deaf ear to his father's words. But now he was regretting it dearly. If he had known that sparks would start flying the second Glynn stepped inside the room, he would have fought with Molly, rather than giving in to her request.

Glynn was satisfied after seeing Erica turn embarrassed. She picked up the glass of red wine that was served to her by the server and then took a sip. A frown etched on her face as the wine was not the one that she usually drank and tasted cheap.

This frown was caught by Erica who curled her lips and then mocked Glynn, "What's wrong Glynn? The wine is too cheap for you. I am sorry, but not everyone can afford the luxuries that you have." She sighed and then remarked, "If only you had a bit of empathy, then you wouldn't have been dumped."

Erica didn't hold back, as she and Glynn didn't get along. Since they had already scratched each other's faces after her affair with Regal was disclosed, Erica didn't even bother to be cordial on the surface.

As soon as she finished speaking, the room was filled with the smell of gunpowder. Carl glared at Molly, who lowered her head and bit her lip, she knew that what she had done, was going to offend Carl tonight, but she had no other option left in front of her.

Regal pulled his girlfriend's wrist, silently asking her to not speak too much as he peeked at Glynn, whose hair covered her face. He truly wanted to see what kind of expression Glynn had, but he couldn't as her hair was covering her face like a veil.

"Dumped?" Glynn raised her head and smiled at Erica, while Regal stiffened as he knew that smile. It was a smile that Glynn had when she was going to say the most heartless thing.

As he expected, he heard Glynn say a second later, "You are mistaken if you think I was dumped. Just like you said, I like things that are luxurious and unique. From my heels," she moved her foot that was clad in black heels before pointing at her diamond and platinum earrings. "To my head, everything that I own costs tens and hundreds of millions."

She chortled as she swayed the wine glass in her hand. "I just threw away the trash that I didn't want, and you happened to pick it up, please be clear of the fact that a man like that was never even worthy of standing next to me."

Regal's face turned pale, he couldn't believe that Glynn had reduced their relationship to nothing but trash. He lowered his hands and clenched his fists on his lap. So, she really thought that he was not worthy to stand next to her all those years?

Even Erica's face turned pale. She glared at Glynn, who had called her a trash picker, even if she was not as rich as Glynn —— she was a rich heiress damn it! How could she accept the fact that she was called a trash picker?

She stood up from the couch on which she sat and picked up, hurled the wine in her glass at Glynn, causing Glynn's hair and dress to be doused in red wine.

Erica screamed at Glynn while pointing at her, "Who are you acting for? Who doesn't know that you begged Regal to stay with you when he broke up with you and chose me? I saw it all happen, and now you are acting all high and mighty? You can act like the past never happened, but I remember it all. Just accept the fact that I was and am better than you!"

"You crazy b*tch!" Glynn threw the glass in her hand onto the floor as she strode over and knotted her fingers in Erica's hair as she pulled her dyed blue hair as harshly as possible. "Do you want me to ruin your father, is that it? I can cause your company to go bankrupt! How dare you raise your voice at me?"

"AHH!! Let me go!" Erica screamed while trying to get away from Glynn, who started slapping her on the face.

The two of them tussled like shrews on the street, causing the entire private room to fall into a mess until ——

"Enough." A loud yell broke through the screams and curses as someone pushed Glynn away from Erica.
