69 On whose order?

Evelyn was eating her lunch while listening to Mister Smith's chatter, he was telling her about how she was not being proficient in her work. But at this point, Evelyn did not even care what Mister Smith wanted and did not want her to do. 

She had already bent her morals for him once by letting the application of Mister Nelson and Mrs Nelson proceed even though neither of them came to submit the application. 

"Are you listening to me?" Mister Smith questioned angrily, spit flew from his mouth as he looked at Evelyn with an annoyed expression. It was as if she were the unreasonable one here.
