Hawkeye's warning was extremely timely because Black Shadow's next target was not him, but the person playing Cao Ya in the Shadow Play. Surprisingly, the situation still unfolded according to the script, despite the different process.
Black Shadow appeared on the tombstone to the left of the Shadow Play, in the same pose and with the same danger.
Having obtained the Converter Card, the Shadow Play could not attack in the same manner as Hawkeye and had to choose between escaping or trying to find some clues.
Black Shadow's clothes flared out as it pounced towards the Shadow Play with an incredibly fast speed; however, it failed to capture its prey as easily as the script had suggested.
Under the cover of the night, the Shadow Play appeared behind Black Shadow like a ghost. Then, she stretched her hands to either side of Black Shadow's skull, and with a hook of her right hand, she grabbed her left wrist, effectively restraining Black Shadow.
Such great strength!
