Chapter 9: New Student

Because of Erick's ability to understand, he skipped the rest of grade school and was currently in the beginning of middle school.

Of course, because he was younger than everyone yet still smarter than them, he had to endure some bullying.

The school Erick went to was pretty poor in quality but it was within a ten minute walk so it was the only choice in the orphanage's eyes.

Erick found his way to the front doors of the school and went do his designated classroom.

There was a new student today.

He wore a red and black hoodie and under the hoodie you could see his green eyes.

"Hello, I'm your new king!"

'What?!' Erick's eyes bolted to the panel.

"Yes, my liege." The classroom unanimously said.

Everyone's eyes were empty as if they had no soul.

Erick didn't know what was going on.

He tried to remain calm, if he could manage that he could just blend in with the crowd. There were over 20 students in his class and a teacher. Despite Erick's age he was only a little shorter than everyone there and he naturally already possessed blank eyes.

"Hm? Looks like I missed a few."

Erick's heart skipped a beat as he heard this.

The green eyed boy walked over to the far right of the class room where there were two girls that looked as if they still had free will.

The frightened ladies tried to get away but he was faster and grabbed their face.

"[Mind Control]."

Both of them fell to the ground.

"Get up."

The ladies fixed themselves up.

"Who am I?" The false king questioned.

"Our king." They answered.

An evil smile stretched across his face.

He then grabbed his face and murmured "[Shape Shift]."

He glowed white for a second and then reappeared as an old goblin with a staff.

'Analyze.' Erick needed to know what the hell was happening.

'Level 14!?' This was the level of a boss monster at the least! Whatever this goblin had planned for them wouldn't, it couldn't be good.

A mystical purple portal grew from the air.

'Error, what is this portal leading to.'
