12 Robbed by an old man!

"Sorry Aunt I won't be able to attend any of the lessons today and possibly tomorrow, because..." Namgung Jun suddenly went silent with her cheeks blushing violently and her eyes started to sway to the side.

The woman who gave off a scary aura with long red hair, who was sitting behind the desk was shocked with what her nephew had said. She knew Jun to never call in sick even when she had a shoulder injury.

"Is it something you can't tell me?" The woman asked with her red eyes sharply glaring at her niece.

"Ye-ye-yes Principal." Jun looked to the ground like she was a kid who did something wrong.

'What could have happened for Jun to act this way?' Her head strong niece was totally acting out of character, but it was a good thing that she was giving herself some time to relax, "You can be absent for as long as you want." The principal paused for a second, as she read the paper in front of her desk, "Sigh, while you are resting, do you mind calling that foolish little brother of yours."

Hearing Wong's name being brought up, Jun blushed even more, she certainly didn't want to see him after what he had done to her this morning, how can he refuse to spank her one more time, "I shall bring Wong right away Aunt!"

'Did that idiot do something to make her mad?' The Aunt thought as she watched her only niece walk out of the office.

"Cough, is someone talking about me behind my back?" Wong muttered as he walked through the streets of the Henan Province shopping district with his hands behind his back.

Students of the Dragon and Phoenix Martial Academy are not allowed to be seen outside the Academy campus if there are not taking part in any missions, but for a person like Wong who can't even use ki in the first place they just let him do what he wants.

The street was filled with stores and vendors selling their products which reminded Wong about Earth a lot. In all honesty he was just walking aimlessly hoping for another system quest to pop up.

"Yoo! Young man!" An old man that was behind a wooden stall called out and Wong pointed a finger towards himself, "Yes, you handsome man."

With zero idea of what the long grey haired, wrinkly old man who had a walking staff wanted, Wong walks towards him. His stall was filled with books indicating that he probably was a book seller who had it going well since there were only few books left.

"I don't have money." That was the first thing that came out of Wong's mouth, as he knew that this type would be keep bothering him until he buys something.

The old man smiles and signals Wong to sit in front of his wooden stall, "Look at my products first then you will decide if you have money or not."

"Sure, but have you know I won't be buying any of your books." Wong sits and the only reason he is willing to spend time with the old man was because he had nothing else better to do.

"Give me your palm." The old man states with his hand reaching out to Namgung Wong who cringed from how dirty and smelly it was. The old man's hanbok was white and clean, totally unfitting for someone with dirty hands.

"Are you a palm reader? If you are, then know that I don't have a fate line, meaning lying to me that I have a great future up ahead won't work." As someone who once practiced palm reading back on Earth, Wong knew all the ways to make someone loosen up their pockets.

"Just give your palm here." The old man smiled, as he took Wong's palm by force which shocked him a lot since the old man was all skin and bones, "I am from the Wudang Sect, we use a different method in reading palms than what you guys do."

'Wudang Sect? Isn't that one of the five great Taoist sects?' Even though he had just got to this world the previous day, he was able to gather information about its power structure. Wong sighed and tried to pull his hand away from old man, "Why would a Taoist pretend to be a book seller!?"

The old man gripped Wong's wrist and he screamed at the top of his longs as the pain was too intense for him to handle, "Ahhhhh!"

Like there were in a world of their own Wong's scream didn't reach the people walking on the streets and the old man's lips curled up into a mincing smile, "Kid shut up or do you want me to rip your arm off, to make it clear that I am a palm reader."

'What fucked up palm reader rips the arms of his customers!?' Wong used his left hand to cover his mouth, stopping himself from screaming, 'Is he even a Taoist?'

From all the books he had read, Wong knew Taoist to be self righteous people who lived in secluded mountains free from worldly desire and they would only come down to offer prayers, but the man in front of his eyes could be said to belong to the Demonic Sect instead.

The old man took his time to observe Wong's palm and his expression got paler by the second, and he muttered to himself, "How can a one person have so much misfortune."

Wong smiled, as he himself knew the outcome, "My life line has a break, it means a change of life which is the moment I am now, so don't try to say something about it."

"...." The old man's felt the truth in Wong's words, but this was also the moment he was waiting for, "Five gold coins."

"What!?" Wong had a flustered expression all over his face. If the old man had asked 5 silver coins it would be better, no, 5 copper coins was what he deserved.

"It only takes five gold coins to change your fate." The old man smiled, and he didn't remove the firm grip on the brat's wrist.

"I told you before, I am broke." Wong tried to play it cool, but the old man increased the grip making him change his mind, "Ahhh! Okay! Okay I will give you the five gold coins!"

His hand was more precious to him than five gold coins he could recover from just seeing his sister. Using his free hand he took the gold coins from his inner pockets and put in on the table.

The old man's eyes twinkled all over, as it has been ages since he last had a rich, weak and foolish customer, "He he, to think you actually had five gold coins." The old man let got of Wong's arm and took a red book which had the same frame as Martial Art manuals from within the left arm of his hanbok, "Here, this book will at least help you in your journey."

With slight curiosity visible in his eyes, Wong hurriedly took the book, but frowned the moment her read its cover, [Stimulus Flying Shadow Three Sword Style.]

"How am I supposed to use three swords?" Wong had preserved his lips for his woman, maybe if it's an ego sword of a woman, he would consider biting it, but too much to his surprise he didn't get a reply, making him look in front of him, "What the hell!?"

Namgung Wong was back at the spot he was before the old man called, making all it look like he was stuck in some illusion, but he knew he had met the old man, because he was still holding the red book and all his money was gone, even the copper coins he wanted to use to buy lunch.
