Investigation (3)
The nobleman arrived during the night, as the butler had mentioned. Since I was asleep, I only met him the next morning.
He gathered all the staff and introduced them to me.
"Good morning..."
"Zephyr, sir. My name is Zephyr."
"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Alistar."
Alistar was a tall, slender young man with long black hair. He had a noble air about him.
He asked to see my insignia to ensure I was qualified for the mission. It was obvious I was, otherwise, the guild wouldn't have allowed me to accept it. Still, Alistar wanted to ensure everything was in order.
"You seem like an interesting young man to have those recommendations," Alistar remarked. "Well, come with me; the staff is waiting outside."
We went out to the garden where the staff was assembled on the lawn. Alistar introduced each of them, explaining their roles, working hours, names, and so on.
