A New Friend

" Come on, Magi ,we are going to be late,"

Shouted Olena

" I am trying," he replied, barley taking his breath

5 more years had passed and Magnius is now 8 years old, and they started school they learn the regular subjects from his previous world so it wasn't a problem for him, but the only difference was in this world they obviously learn magic.

But the only thing that concerned Magnius was that he still couldn't use magic. In this world, there are people who were born with strong magic power and people born with medium or weak magic powers.

"Could it be that I have weak magic powers?"

He thought

Unlike Magnius, his mother and sister were good at magic , his mother would use magic to heat the food or to water their garden, and Olena would use it to make dolls with stones.

They got to the school , but they were late, so the both of them had to go to their classes quickly , but they weren't in the same class because Olena was older than Magnius.

"See you after school, little bro," Olena said while running

"Yeah, see you later," he replied

After school, the siblings met again, and they started to walk home while talking .

But they were stopped by a group of boys who looked older than Olena , and they didn't look nice at all .

" Hey guys, can you move so we can go home? " Olena asked in an angry tone.

"No ,we won't ,now tell me what you are gonna do about it," a boy replied while stepping closer to her

Then Magnius stepped between them and pushed the boy away , but Magnius was greeted by a punch in the stomach it was so strong that it made him fall to his knees.

"Magnius, are you okay?! "She said while holding him

Olena was pushed away by one of the boys, and one of them was going to punch Magnius again, but this time, the fist was stopped by a boy , he wasn't one of them

"What do you think you are doing?" one of the bullies asked

"Now now you can't hit a pretty lady and pick on a helpless boy " the boy who stopped punch replied ,Then he started to beat all of the group he was the same age as them, but he was clearly stronger than them .

"Let's go, Xander," one of the bullies said, worried

"You will regret this all of you," Xander said angrily

"Looks like Xander is the leader of the group."

Magnius thought

"Go to hell idiots," Olena replied to Xander angrily while checking Magnius

The bullies then ran away, leaving the siblings and the boy alone

" Are you okay, guys?" The boy asked

"Yeah, thanks to you," Magnius replied

" Thank you very much for helping my brother," Olena said while shaking the body's hand

"It's okay. I really hate bullies," he replied

"My name is Fidmoar, but you guys can call me Fid,"he said, smiling

"You are a brave boy, to stand alone and fight a group of boys who are older than you to protect your sister , only a responsible man does that " he said loud enough to make sure Magnius's sister hear his word

"Thanks, Magi, for stepping in," said Olena

"I don't know what happened, but my body just moved on its own, maybe because I was worried about you," he said, pointing at Olena

Olena looked at Magnius, then she gave him a hug, and then she said, "I am the one who should protect you ,I am your older sister after all."

"Yes, you are, but since I have known you, Olena, I always thought that I was older and that I should protect you instead," he replied, trying to calm her down

Maybe it was just a fight between kids. However, for Magnius and Olena, it was intense.

After this incident, Magnius and Olena became friends with Fidmoar , and Magnius started to train his body

"If I can't use magic to protect my sister, then physical and martial arts training might help," he thought

Two months later Magnius and Olena were having a picnic with Fid , after they were done the siblings started to head home because it was getting dark, while chatting and giggling , but they were interrupted by Xander .

" Hey idiots " he said, but Magnus and Olena ignored him .

"Ignoring me isn't the best idea " Xander said then he claped once, at that moment men started to come from the shadows they grabbed Olena then started to beat Magnius but this time he resisted the pain because he now needed to save his sister because this time he wasn't fighting some bullies like last time he was facing criminals .

He was just dodging punches in this fight he because didn't know his offence power was enough, true he got stronger physically and in martial arts thanks to Fid, however it wasn't enough because he started to learn it just for two months only.

They were just too much, and he was about to take a hit, but it wasn't strong at all .

"What the hell? Why do I feel so drained?" But before the man said his last word, he collapsed.

"Thank god I got here in time," Fid said while helping Magnius to stand up

"But how is his magic this strong , and why?" Xander said

"Fid, we have to save Olena first," Magnius said

"You don't have to say," Fid replied

Then they started to fight again,

Magnius wasn't trying to fight he was trying to free his sister, but some men would get in his way , but for Fid, it was another case he is a skilled fighter he's even better magic user ,he combined his magic with his fighting skills .

"He uses his magic to drain the energy of his opponents," Magnius thought

Then, in the middle of the fight, a cart had come , and the man who was holding Olena now was starting to take her in the cart

"Magnius, stop him," Olena said, crying

"I can't let this cart move," Magnius and Fidmoar said at the same time

But they couldn't do anything because they were outnumbered and weak, especially Magnius he knew he wasn't strong enough to even protect his sister .

He saw his sister crying in the cart as it started to move .

"It's been 5 years, and I haven't gotten any stronger , I wish I was just stronger," he said, crying

Then suddenly, while he was crying, the time seemed to be stopped, but for some reason, Magnius was able to move freely.

Then a black mist started to shape, and then a strange man came out of it as if it was some kind of portal .

As the man approached Magnius , Magnius started to feel horrified because the man had no face features.

Then the strange man said, " Do you want power , I can give you that .
