A true beast

Walking out of the medical shack i began to walk towards the Nar garison one of the largest buildings in the village. in total the village has twelve citizens only four of us are Nar. today was a hunting trip where all four of us would go kill a Beast a colosal creature that dwarfs all other animals in the forest, these giants appear about once every four months.

There a massive threat to the village so its the job of the Nar to eliminate them. this wasnt our first beast hunt however something was different this time the beast this time was an Azure Pe-Bear, the giant loomed over the tree tops at a giant fourty meters we couldent even bring ourselfs to attack. As it stormed through the forest chasing animals for food it left a trail of once blue trees red with the blood of its prey, the same look of horror covered all of our faces. The strongest of us Nar, Eliot rose turning to us a hollow smile lay plastered on his face trying to conceal his fear.

Without a word eliot ran through the trees towards the beast. This was the first time in the history of our village a nar was killed by a beast.

As the colosus wolfed down eliots corpse we realised the only way to survive this helling encounter would be to evacuate the village
