The large hill on which the harpy nest was situated had no steps or a path to ascend the mountain, which made sense considering the harpies could fly and they didn't want any land creatures getting into their nests. Alex could try climbing the hill but that would take too long and he wasn't keen on the idea, so he opted for a different idea. Green sparks surrounded his feet as a pair of green and white sneakers with grey wings appeared on his feet.

"Let's see how well this [Air Walk] enchantment works." Alex said as he poured his mana into his new arnament, [Wind Gliders]. The sneakers glowed a bit before the small grey wings on the side of the shoes started flapping and he slowly lifted into the air.

'Nice, but let's try to go a bit faster.' Alex thought and poured even more mana into the shoes, causing him to ascend even faster than before. In just a few minutes, he reached the top of the hill and landed heavily on it, almost breaking a bone. He evidently needed more practice.
