Chapter 122 Shadow Abyss: Temple of Mordoc(6)

Alex instantly started to summon [Shadow Reaper] but before it could be summoned the monster charged at him ready to finish him off for good but before it could Alex sunk into his shadow and escaped. The monster crashed into the wall making the indentation even deeper, the monster dislodged itself from the wall and stabbed one of it's great swords into the ground. A pointy shadow in the shape of a spike chased after Alex as he swam across the ground, sensing the incoming shadow, he quickly emerged from his Shadow and created a circle of blue flames around himself. This wasn't the first time the monster used this technique, during the fight the monster had used this technique whenever Alex used [Shadow Swim] to escape. The shadow spike once managed to pierce him while he was merged with his shadow and he was left with a hole in his side and since then, he's been weary of this technique.
