The big goblin felt chills all over as even his very soul trembled at this moment. He knew instantly death had come to him, he flashed Noah a toothy grin before the latter sword pierced through his heart, bursting it apart.

''Hehehe!'' Noah's laugh was creepy as hell, the notification announcing he earned some gold coins couldn't be more sweat and he loved it a lot, he wouldn't mind hearing them for eternity.

The mutated goblin he killed gave him a lot of experience points, a whopping 4%, if only he could meet a dozen of them, his level would quickly rise.

Noah was a little shy away from leveling up. If he keeps it active he could use it for one hour straight with his current mana, used wisely it could last hours.

Just as Noah was about to take out some cookies to enjoy while resting.

Suddenly, something red hit where Noah previously stood, and fire spread out; dust filled the cave he had found for resting.

''What's that?" Noah asked, filled with dread.

Suddenly, without knowing why, Noah activated his Presence Detection skill with the little bit of mana he had left and immediately he saw a glowing red dot moving at a breakneck speed toward him. Instinctively by reflex, he brought a black sword out from his inventory before taking a defensive stance.

Gakin~!

A sharp sound was made as the sword came in contact with a long sword above his head.

''Guh!" Noah grunted because his right hand, which was holding the sword, became numb. He was astonished by his enemy's physical strength, and so was his enemy; the other party did not think that Noah could parry its blow.

Not wanting to miss out on this opportunity, Noah immediately counterattacked by launching daggers at the enemy, who seemed to have not recovered from the shock of him blocking its sneak attack.

However, to Noah's surprise, his attacks were blocked. Noah's attacker pushed out a shield to block his two daggers. The enemy who sneak attacked him quickly fell back after blocking the two daggers Noah had thrown.

Finally, Noah was able to see the other party before him. It was a goblin.

It had a long silver sword and a small round shield with two daggers embedded in them.

However, different from an average goblin was its skin color. While a normal goblin had green skin, the goblin in front of him had red skin. In addition, it was larger and a head taller than a normal goblin but not as tall as the previous mutated goblin he fought.

''Another mutated goblin!"

Noah sucked a mouthful. Finally, he understood why his arm felt numb after their previous exchange. Simply, it was because the goblin's strength was above his.

Suddenly, the mutated goblin different from the previous one cried as if mumbling something.

''Kieek!"

Right after it cried, a ball of fire appeared in front of its eyes. It was small; seeing this fireball, Noah remembered the previous attack, so he jumped in the opposite direction after the goblin shot the fireball.

He rolled on the ground before standing up. Without giving him the time to cast another fireball. Noah threw two daggers toward the red goblin. He knew he would block it, hence at the same time, with his other hand, he threw two stones, they were fast like bullets.

Even though Noah had shot the two stones slightly after throwing the two daggers, the stones caught up with the knives.

On the other side, the red goblin's reaction was not slow, first, he sacrificed the small shield by throwing it toward the incoming daggers, while he shifted his right shoulder slightly back to avoid the stones.

Unfortunately, he was not fast enough, one of the stones pierced his shoulder making him grunt in pain.

He glared at Noah before hurling his sword towards his head; it happened so fast that Noah was almost caught off guard because of exhaustion from his previous fight. Still, he quickly brought his black to his left to deflect the sword; he managed to deflect it, but he received a small injury as a consequence, there was a minor cut on his left cheek, pain assaulted but he gritted his teeth and endured. Noah touched his bleeding cheek and murmured.

'It was the first time I've been injured since I started doing quests. I have to reflect later.'

Noah looked at the culprit of his injury, one of his arms was limping, yet he was already preparing his next attack, another fireball.

However, Noah had the feeling that this one was a little different from the previous two fireballs.

''As if I would let you cast it,'' Noah shouted before kicking the ground as he sprinted toward the red goblin.

Swish! Swish!

The remaining two stones he had, were hurled towards the red goblin; he jumped to the left to avoid them.

A cruel smile floated onto Noah's face when he saw that the red goblin had moved exactly as he wanted.

Gathering the last bit of strength he had inside his legs, Noah shot forward like a cheetah and arrived beside the red goblin, because he put everything he had into this action he achieved a never-seen speed before. Using the black sword to pierce the goblin's neck from the right before he had the time to do anything.

The corpse of the red-skinned goblin lay in front of Noah's eyes.
