Lara, the mother of heroes

Jola, Anita, Deji, Mistura, Samad, Funmi, Mira, Gbenga, Bella and Lanre, the representatives of the sanctuary came to the gate that the escorts were at.

Anita was half expecting that Mira would join the escorts at the gate and reveal that she was a part of them and her master was the organizer. But that didn't happen; it was immediately clear that Mira wasn't a part of them as the escorts had very crude armor and clothing compared to an average sanctuary dweller and compared to Mira they looked like cavemen and Mira was a High Human not a Meta Human.

One of the escorts was a man, he was a Rank 7, and the other was a young girl who looked to be in her teens, she was a Rank 6. The man greeted "It's nice to meet you representatives of this settlement. My name is Emeka and the girls name is Joy we're here to take you to the venue of the meeting"

The man signaled to the girl and the girl transformed into a black feathered bird as large as a fighter jet, the bird resembled a phoenix. The man touched her wing and a ball of golden energy covered her and the ball duplicated into ten balls with phoenixes just like the girl made of golden energy.

The man said "You can ride on the backs of the duplicates" and climbed the back of the girl in phoenix form. The representatives climbed the golden duplicates and the birds flapped their wings out of sync and flew into the air.

Mira thought "I don't know who this person is but the person is clearly far above Jade if these are just the person's subordinates. I can only hope that the person is one of these two"

The birds flew incredibly fast, faster than the best fighter jets and with more control and stability. They flew over hordes of monsters that they had never had contact with showing them that, although they had almost completely cleared out the areas around the sanctuary; there were still monsters in most parts of Lagos.

The birds flew until they reached an area covered in weird buildings, the buildings ranged from short to tall and they had the same weird architecture as if the architect was trying to make what should have been futuristic buildings out of a pitch black rock.

In the center of the area were two extremely large towers with the same weird designs and made of the same pitch black material. They saw other golden phoenixes in the distance approaching one of the two large buildings.

With their High Human sight they saw the same Emeka leading the other phoenixes that were supposed to be copies of the Joy but seemed to be exactly the same as the one their Emeka was riding on.

The phoenixes landed on a large ledge wide enough for 10 phoenixes to land on that extended out of the sides of one of the large buildings. The sanctuary representatives dismounted their phoenixes and stood on the ledge. Emeka walked forward into the building and gestured for them to follow him which they did.

They entered the building and were lead up a bunch of weirdly angled staircases until they reached a large door, Emeka opened the large door and gestured for them to enter inside.

The moment the representatives of the sanctuary entered the large room behind the door the other representatives entered at the same time too. The room was a conference room with 32 sets of seats with 10 seats in each set.

The door each group of representatives entered through was close to a set of chairs. The set of chairs formed a semicircle around a chair that looked a lot more sophisticated than the chairs for the representatives.

Mira was already using High Mind since they entered the building. The other settlement representatives looked eccentric but one stood out. The man was holding the leash of a collar tied around a man who crawled on the floor.

The man that was crawling had his hands amputated from the elbow and his legs amputated from the knee, his head was shaved bald, he had whip marks on his back and a dog smile with his tongue hanging out with some a lot of his teeth missing, he was the only human in the meeting, the rest were superior or normal High Humans.

The man holding the leash was a black man of average height with a light toned skin. He was happy for all the attention he was gathering, he had given one spot to the mutilated man and it would have been a waste if the man didn't achieve his purpose.

The representatives sat down on their chairs and immediately a door behind the chair they were all facing opened a woman walked out. She looked no different from a normal human but their IPs indicated her as [Rank 12 Origin Meta Human]. The woman was of average height and looked to be in her 40s, she had a warm smile and a demeanor that made people feel comfortable, like she wasn't easily annoyed, but still made people weary of her anger because of the power she possessed.

Anybody with a brain would have realized that she was responsible for the Meta Humans they had seen. She wore primitive clothes and armor like the other representatives apart from those from those from the sanctuary. The sanctuary immediately stood out.

She went to the center of the gathering and said "My name is Lara and I am the leader of Terrania, the home of Meta Humans. Our settlement has 1 Rank 12; me, 2 Rank 7s, 6 Rank 6s, about 37 Rank 5s and 134 Rank 4s. There are no Rank 3s, 2s and 1s.

You will come to the center like me, starting from the left and going to the right, the leader of the settlement will come out and give his/her name, the name of their settlement and the approximate number of the people of various Ranks in the settlement owned. If lies are told there will be punishment, if you do not want to give any of the information I asked you to give you can leave it out.

This is just an introduction so relax, we don't need any scheming at this point, take your time to discuss anything you want to" and then she went back to her seat.

Diplomatic Notes: She is a very caring person on the inside but her decisions might be hard to understand for most people and might make her look uncaring. She is not good at business negotiations and planning but she is not a fool either. It is very hard to find reasons to hate her and it also very difficult for her to hate people, but if you do enough work and get on her bad side (for example killing a Meta Human) you will require the help of at least 2 New Gods to remain safe. She is not greedy or one to seek power and control. She dotes on her 'children' (The citizens of Terrania) but she is not impartial when judging between her children and outsiders.

In summary she is a mother (As the Meta Humans call her) in true sense of the word.

Combat Notes: No matter how powerful you are it is impossible to beat Lara in a one on one combat situation. It is advised that to beat her in a fight, sufficiently strong opponents with different combat styles and capabilities must face her simultaneously to have a chance at defeating her.

From what has been observed she can use the abilities of any Meta Human that is alive, the limit to the number of abilities she can use is currently 12. Her proficiency at using the abilities is often higher than the Meta Human that owns the ability, only the Elders of Terrania are able to use their abilities with higher proficiency than her.

She is capable of transforming Humans or High Humans (any human species that is below Ancient Grade) to Meta Humans. The Meta Human race is very powerful because they are the first **** race to exist.}
