Era: Dawn of the New Gods

Concise Synopsis: This is a post-apocalyptic story about the origins of various powerful figures that appeared after the apocalypse event. During the apocalypse monsters appeared possessing powers and constitution beyond the limits of human understanding. They ravaged the world and brought down all governments. The first part of the story follows Jade, a terrorist that was ravaging the world before the monsters arrived. ________________________________________ Dramatic Synopsis: The New Gods, the most feared and revered beings on the planet. They are forces capable of absolute destruction and creation. The Council of Branches Hayley, the Living Lie (if that is her real name) Chao Feng, the Prince of Stars Lara, the Mother of Heroes The Great City of Tver Gog, the Ever Losing War The Unkillable Freak Dave, the Flow Demon Avatari, (only the name is known) Satoshi, the Gentle Hurricane As Impactful as they are no one knew their origin, they are called the New Gods so there must be Old Gods. I and my colleagues dedicated our lives to finding their origins only to find out that the beings we fear and adore were once like us, average, mortal and weak... at least most of them were. ________________________________________ *It is a sort of 'reverse RPG' as no one knows anything either skills, abilities or how the system works but they find out on their own or develop their own skills or abilities. *The story has many protagonists and point of views but it paints a beautiful story of survival in a world of endless perils for both the humans and the monsters (some monsters are protagonists). *There is a system but it is very limited (not overpowered) and it treats everyone equally, monster or human. The system is very different from regular systems; no exp, levels and system items (it has similar concepts but they are not the same). *The story is a world building story where overall, the world is the true main character. Chapter 179: New World Titan (Baldr)

[New World Titan (Baldr): Baldr was the first son of Odin, the all father, and most powerful Asgardian. He was perfect in beauty, wisdom and might, and was the most adored and respected Asgardian after Odin. The god of light, the shining one, the hero, the prince, the bold, the brave, the just, the strong.

To the Asgardians Baldr was perfection born in the flesh, possessing both the talents of the Aesir clan and the Vanir clan like his mother, an exemplary magic warrior, tactician, leader and brother. He was a type of Freak known as a Jotun like his father and brothers.

Baldr and his mother, Frigg, foresaw his own death and for this reason his mother went on a project to make him invincible, as if he wasn't perfect enough. She took a sample of the aura of all the matter and energy in the universe in their most basic states and in other various forms. She used her Reality Magic, fueled by extremely rare and hard to find resources, to fuse the aura of all the matter and energy to Baldr's body's aura to form an Immunity Codex that made him impervious to any attack resulting from the materials that had the same aura signature as the ones he was fused with.

Baldr became known as invincible among the Asgardians and under the political manipulation of Frigg they developed the past time of attacking the invincible Baldr with various weapons. This was to increase Baldr's already extremely high popularity with the influential Asgardians and to help her find any form of matter or energy she had missed and add it to Baldr's Immunity Codex. Centuries passed and Baldr was never ever hurt by any weapon thrown of wielded at him in battle and in social gatherings.

Using all her resources and connections, Frigg had covered even the rare and unique materials that could only be found on unique weapons. Sadly, Frigg wasn't properly versed at aura sensing so she missed some forms of matter that had little effect on creatures much weaker than her let alone creatures as powerful as she was. Although she did her best to cover everything perfectly the only thing she covered perfectly were the materials used to create weapons.

Loki, whose origins are not clearly known, hired the Dwarfs to craft a spear made out of a plant that Frigg had missed, Mistletoe. Although the plant was weak even to creatures of lesser race grades the Dwarfs crafted a powerful spear out of it and Loki tricked one of the influential Asgardians with extremely powerful throwing skills to throw the spear at Baldr.

Through the series of proper progression the mistletoe spear, under the fine crafting of the Dwarfs and the sublime skill of the Asgardian, became a personification of death. It struck Baldr and killed him. Baldr is the [Extinct] race option.

As a result of Baldr's death the destruction of Asgard, the home of the Asgardians and the fall of their reign became a certainty. Baldr's resurrection and ascension as the god of the new world after the destruction of the Asgardian reign was also made a certainty.

In order to resurrect Baldr must wonder the realm of the dead, Niflheim, and move past it to the void of space, Ginnungagap. In the Void of space his soul will fuse with the disposed parts of the Cosmic Titan, Ymir, and reconstruct his body from them. The New World Titan (Baldr) is a type of Freak known as Autarchic-Synthesized Life.

Dying and losing his body, escaping death, traversing the Void of space with only a soul, and fusing with the body parts of an entity that is beyond the Celestial Grade races has caused Baldr's mind and soul to evolve.

Baldr's attunement to Light is gone and he possesses a mind that is attuned to Rune technology language which is one of the languages of the universe. Baldr's intelligence is now on par with Odin's and his soul has achieved a superior state due to his experiences giving him the Beyond-Death Soul Glyph and the Cosmic-Soul Soul Glyph. The light of Wisdom shines from his very being causing him to be able to think on levels far beyond his father Odin when he uses his new Soul Extension, Cosmic 3rd Eye, making him the most intelligent product of the Asgardian race.

Baldr's body has become that of a Titan being constructed from one itself. Baldr can consume space, energy and matter since his body is made of the combination of space and reality, Cosmos, which is an Erudite level concept on its own.

Cosmos is a fusion of two Master level concepts. The first is the Master level Space concept, Material Space, which can recreate any condition that is achievable in a realm that has space. The second is the Master level Reality concept, Matter-Energy (Tron), which tethers matter and energy to being of one origin, Tron, which can be used to recreate almost any form of matter and energy known as Tron forms. The conceptual material Cosmos is capable of assuming the properties of any matter and energy conceivable in any desired state.

Baldur, with his new body made of Cosmos, recreated the Immunity Codex with his new body made of Cosmos by releasing the auras of Cosmos which was a combination of the aura of all materials it could emulate combined in one. Baldur's recreation was not as flawless as Frigg and the sheer amount and complexity of the aura was so much even Frigg would not have been able to create the Immunity Codex with it.

So it only gave him a very high partial immunity passive to all forms of matter and energy which worked only if his body consumed the matter and energy when being influenced by it. Baldr can temporarily change his body to give it absolute immunity to any Tron form he chooses. As his proficiency with this feature increases he can become immune to more Tron forms at a time and sustain this immunity for longer depending on what he focuses on.

Baldr can control his body on the subatomic levels and beyond as his proficiency in Cosmos control increases. Baldr's energy organ is now the energy organ of the Cosmic Titan, a Cosmic Energy organ.

Cosmic Energy organs contain Cosmic Energy which is impossible to manipulate at low levels of intelligence and without completing the right soul trainings that give a type of Cosmic Soul Glyph. Those who can successfully manipulate it can change the Pure Energy in their energy organ to Cosmic Energy making it a Cosmic Energy organ.

A Cosmic Energy organ doesn't create an energy zone like a normal energy organ but disperse its cosmic energy into the environment and recreates it with the ambient energy. This recreated energy carries all the information about the environment that can be decoded with the right amount of intelligence and expertise.

Cosmic Energy is highly desired by beings with high intelligence because it is more potent than Pure Energy and is more versatile for magic and any form of energy technique or technology and it can be more easily and efficiently utilized by those who have the right amount of intelligence compared to Pure Energy.

Because Baldr assimilated the whole Cosmic Energy organ of an entity that is beyond the Celestial grade races, even though the organ had degraded throughout its stay in the Void, his energy stat is highest among all the Celestial grade options.

Baldr's body is in essence made of scraps and can be modified to fit any need and since it is made of Cosmos this feature is further amplified.

Baldr still possesses the talents of both the Vanir and Aesir clans. The Aesir clan's general talent gives them two advantages. The first is an extremely high amplification to their stat and prowess growth depending on how chaotic and challenging their environment is. The psychic energy and the freed souls in the environment nourish the body and mind of the Aesir Asgardian. For this reason many Aesir desire war, battles and challenges.

The second advantage is their high Battle Intuition. Aesir clan members have a very advanced Battle Intuitions which allows them to sense the predict deaths in a fight and sense opportunities for clinching victory. They can also sense the relative strength of anyone and the possibilities for victory or defeat against a specific opponent. This makes Aesir members extremely good commanders and strategists in battle. The side effect of this talent is that they don't value their own life.

The general talent of the Vanir clan gives them two advantages. The first is a high amplification to their stat and prowess growth depending on how peaceful their mind and environment is. The psychic energy in the environment and in their mind combines together and nourishes the body and mind of the Vanir Asgardian. For this reason many Vanir spend long periods meditating to achieve inner peace.

The second advantage is their perception of time. Vanir clan members have a very advanced perception of time which allows them to foresee certain events that are bound to happen even in the chaotic flow of time. They can also see glimpses of the past of various objects, situations, persons, etc. Because of this most Vanir clan members make diplomats or investors as they are nigh-impossible to trick and almost always know the best steps to take for future profit. The side effect of this talent is that they are bipolar; they feel little emotion compared to a normal person but when they get emotional they are extremely so.
