I look around the basket ball court that is the collage gym, bleachers on the side with students slouching on, professors pacing around and trying to make calls and other people who just straight up went to sleep.

Some people are also looking at the status screens we just figured out were a thing. I bet most want to go out and fight but are too scared to do so. But some people are messing around with the skills they got.

Some girl lighting their hand on fire, another guy that is just looking around with glowing eyes, and so on.

Its been a crazy day all and all, and now here we are, sitting around hoping for someone to save us, which is most definitely not happening, I sigh and decide to open my own.

I managed to get here from the classroom I was trapped in, killing a couple of monsters while doing so. Almost died but now I'm trapped in here. I sigh and activate the only attack skill I have.

My veins turn a shining gold which lights up my chocolate brown skin, the starlight bar in the corner of my vision starts going down, so I start doing the only thing I have done until now.

I move the glow from my entire body to my hands, then hold them about 2 cm apart and channeling all the power I have which starts forming a ball of pure gold light.

This is what I used to kill the only monster I actually fought, the other ones I just avoided. I smile at the light but I am brought of of my thoughts by the entrance moving a bunch.

Everyone looks at the door warily I stand up and cancel my skill, but the next second someone shouts from the other side, "Open the door, I'm human and I've killed the monsters outside".

No one moves, before the only professor who isn't a wuss decides to move towards it, "Who are you?" He asks/

"I'm another student, I managed to kill the monsters with my friend, did you see that announcement that said we were the first to kill a monster? Yeah that was us. Please open we are here to help." That manages to catch the attention of everyone.

Including me, I saw the message that came about 10 minutes after everything went down, and it was shocking that only 2 managed to do that, there was also the next one but it was less impressive at about 7 people.

I hear the door clicking before moving open, and I see the gym I have been to way too many times, just with less people. I look at the person who opened it and recognize him as one of my professors.

He was actually a ranker in the future, about 19th place, which is pretty good, anything in the rankings is good really, the list only goes up to 75, so that's 75 people out of the 8 billion that exist.

He was a nice guy, he protected people, and had a good class. "Leonardo?" he asks before looking over to Jayden. He also stares at my clone funnily.

"Hello Professor Choi" Jayden says in his usual chirpy tone .

"Come in quick we can talk inside." He says before pulling us inside. I take in everyone inside, some people slouching and mumbling to themselves, others talking to thin air.

Some people staring at their status screens, and others messing around with their abilities, "Jayden, Leo, how did you guys manage to kill those, and why are there 2 of you?" He asks closing the door and locking it.

I look at the professors in the room, there are 3 of them other than Choi, one is sitting with the students, another is or was trying to call repeatedly, and the last is just sitting around doing nothing.

Everyone is looking at us right now, which I understand, Jayden has blood all over his arms, and me and my clone have blood covering our clothes, we are also carrying swords. Oh and there are 2 of me.

"Ah, we just used the skills we got, I guess we are just good at fighting, and we also got good classes" Jayden answers for me.

"Professor did you get a class?" I ask, "Are you talking about those screens?" He asks. I nod and he thinks for a bit.

"I chose 'Overseer', I dont know what it does" He answers and I nod. He got the same class as he did in my past life, it lets the user, as the name suggests, oversee people.

Giving general buffs, and getting a small share of the experience, he was able to act as a buffer until he got strong enough to fight by himself and buff himself. Its a good class.

Tt also lets the user see out of the eyes of the people being buffed, and talk to them mentally it was super versatile, allowing long distance messages.

"Can you gather everyone professor" I ask, "Just call me Michael, titles dont mean anything anymore" He smiles before running over to the people on the bleachers.

After a bit everyone is sitting on the bleachers and I am standing in front of them with Jayden. There are about 30 to 40 people here. "Ok, so... As you can tell some monsters are currently killing people."

"And as you probably know nothing on phones work, no internet, no calling, no nothing, which is not a good thing at all" I say,

"But as you can see killing them is possible, and maybe we can get back to our families or wherever you want to go." I continue.

As I'm about to say something else, someone disturbs me, "How did you kill them" I look over to who said it, its a guy with the biggest pair of circle glasses I've seen.

"Using the classes we got, please tell me you chose one" I say which makes some people fidget.

Not having a class is almost a death sentence but it is possible to kill things, there was actually a ranker who didn't have a class, she was ranked 34, she managed to survive until she got one of those special weapons that boosted her up to rank 34.

And no one tried killing her, as again the weapons' disappear when the user is killed. So they rather just recruited her.

"As you can see I chose a class that lets me clone myself, and he chose something else" I say, not telling them what Jayden got, I told them mine since they would of already figured it out on their own.

"If you haven't figured it out already you can open your status screen by saying 'status' out loud or in your head. And you can activate your skills in the same manner"

"Classes are rated from 1 star to 5, and from what I have seen 3 star and above classes are unique and anything below that are owned by multiple people." I say, I haven't seen anyone but these but I need a reason to tell them this.

Almost instantly almost everyone has a screen in front of them, and they start looking through them nervously.
