Chapter 1: Why am I an Ant?!?

Ughhh...What happend to me? Why is everything so dark? What is going on? I try to move my body only to have no feeling of it. I then think of what happened to me.

Okay, so I was going back to my old abandoned home after wasting 30 grand at a casino. I then went off track and entered the building. I climbed the stairs of the building till I reached the rooftop. I then...wait...am I dead?

I gather my thoughts and come up with the conclusion that I'm really dead! What the hell is this! The silence is really nerve-wracking...I wish something would just happen. I then feel 'my body' move. A light shined through the abyss as it started to get bigger.

When the light completely vanished from the darkness, I was left with what looked like to be a grassy plain. I try to move around only to find my arm is small and a little sharp. I then move my head around to see my plain vision extend all around.

Suddenly, a screen popped in front of me and I started to look at it.

What is this? A system? Is this like one of those anime or manga where the main character gets a system that helps them grow? Well, whatever it is, it's telling me that I am basically trash. I mean look at these stats! My defense and Strength are just too easy to break! My speed is like fucking sloth for crying out loud!

I try to calm myself down. If I'm an ant that means, I am weak. This means anyone would just ignore a weak creature, right?... Sigh. Let's just figure out how to survive first.

<Day 1>

I've been stuck on this status screen for over half an hour and is starting to get on my nerves. I just wish I can say status and it would stop appearing. The status screen then suddenly disappeared out of my face... Fuck you.

I then start around the grassy plains using my ant body. Surprisingly enough, I haven't met any hostile creatures along the way. All I saw is normal insects doing their jobs. I obviously didn't attack since I don't know how strong these insects are. For now, I will stick to being a coward.

I continued to walk on the dirt-covered ground until I then felt something coming at me. I then dodged almost instinctively from a giant pinkish-like body part and saw it was a worm. My first thought was to talk to it to avoid any conflicts.

"Hey, you there! Stop attacking me! I'm a harmless ant! Are you even listening to me?!?"

The worm hesitated for a moment before it tried to throw it's tail and crush me under it. I could move due to how fast it's the attack was and its tails were now above me trying to crush me to the ground. I could feel the pain surging through my body and it increases its strength.

"You...fucker! What did I ever do to you to attack me? Is it because you want to eat me? No...NO! I will not die! I will survive and eat you instead! You giant fleshly fucker!"

I then started to lift the worm tail, not knowing how. I then threw my tail to the side before jumping on its main body and started to bite and eat it alive. The worm tried to throw me aside, but I stayed on its body and kept biting it until It died on the spot

Before I check the messages, I feel my body become limp and aching from my wounds. I try to stand up straight but it was harder than I thought it would. I then head over to the corpse of the worm and began eating it.

After eating the worm, I feel my wounds being regenerated slowly and carefully. I then check the messages sent to me and check my stats and low and behold my level increased and so did my health. But, how was I able to eat the worm without puking? Huh, must be my [Omnivorous Diet] skill.

I then start to walk back on the dirt road as I was met by many trees filled with many different colored leaves. I then wonder, If I can drink the sap of the tree and surprisingly it doesn't taste bad at all! I then start drinking more of the tree's sap until my hunger finally satiated.

Wait, I need to place to stay. I think to myself as I look around and find a nearby tree root that could be used as shelter. I grab some small rocks and leaves and start to form a shelter under the tree root. I set my body on the ground and close my eyes for some rest.

<Day 2>

It has officially been 1 day since I reincarnated into an ant. I created my own little shelter, defeated a worm, and even leveled up. I thought to myself that things are starting to look good. I exit my little shelter as I stare at it proudly. Truly it was the greatest home ever made.

I then start to drink some sap from the tree to subside my hunger. After that, I went exploring for a bit before encountering a bit more worms. Seems like they came to avenge the death of their comrade. Well jokes on them! I will be the one to come out on top!

I then ran at the first worm and bit it as hard as I can until died. Seems my [Ant Bite] increases when my strength increases. I then feel danger thanks to my [Danger Sense] and was able to dodge swiftly. The second worm then lowered its guard. Bad mistake!

I use my [Ant Strength] to stomp the ant on the ground and destroyed its head. The final worm hesitated and cowered in fear in front of his comrade's deaths. Unlucky for him, I used my [Ant Bite] and ended his life before he could do anything.

With the worms dead, It was a victory for me. I then start to eat their corpses one by one and found myself leveling up fast.

I look proudly at my stats. To think I have grown so fast in just a day. I wonder what about all the possibilities I could do. The strength I could achieve. Wait a minute. There is something I forget to discuss. Who created the system and who transported me here?

So many questions and so little time. I hope I can find the answers seek soon. Otherwise, I need to be more powerful than I was before.
