Surprise For All

{POV Ryuu.}

"That's a little, well…" Midnight seemed confused about my 'hero' name, she even seemed to not want to accept it.

"I'm not changing it and besides, I'll mostly go by Emperor anyway." I didn't wait for a response as I went back to my desk.

"Well that was fun, alright moving on. Your field training will be a week long. These are all good workplaces. But, those with nominations will receive a personalized list so pick one…"

Aizawa continued to go on and explain how the workplace experience training worked, going along the lines of saying that every office will be different as will the heroes that we'd work under.

I smiled as I thought back to what Nezu had in mind when we had our little talk.

[Two days earlier.]

"Well it's something along the lines of this, I was wondering if you'd like to infiltrate this so-called Villain Alliance." Nezu said with a smile as we continued to walk down the hall.

"Sure, I had planned to come and talk with you or someone similar anyway. So what's in it for me?" I asked with a smile.

"You'd get me, for a backer for one, as well as your choice of award." Nezu said with a laugh.

"Well that's quite the award. Well then I won't ask for much then," I said lightly with a smile on my face. "Well then how about some land in, U.A. that would be my own sovereign land."

Nezu didn't stop but I noticed the smile on his face grow wider as he started to laugh in a more crazed manner.

"It seemed I was right about you Ryuu. That'll be no problem whatsoever. Plus I will use this as an excuse for your work experience that'll be coming up."

"Well this'll make things a lot easier then, plus you do know that there is a traitor in my class right?" I asked with a knowing smile as Nezu started to laugh further.

"Of course I know. My ability made it very easy to figure that out. It's Aoyama, the kid who shoots a laser out of his stomach. It wasn't that hard to figure it out." Nezu spoke as if it was the most normal and natural thing in the world.

I was surprised that he was able to find out so quickly who the traitor was as it seemed that everyone was still trying to figure out who it was.

"Are we the only two who know?" I asked as Nezu just nodded while smiling. "I feel honored. But why haven't you told anybody else?"

"Cause, it'll make things too simple, plus it goes against my teaching method. I mean you loathe heroes and it doesn't seem like you plan on being one." Nezu asked as he turned his head around with a knowing smile and stopped.

I started to smile in a fierce manner when Nezu turned around and stopped.

Such a terrifying man you are Nezu. You're out here playing chess while everyone else is playing slapstick.

"You're not wrong I do loathe heroes, but I see the necessary need for them as everyone needs a hero. But it's collapsing and quickly, the all mighty pillar who supports it is finished." I looked into Nezu's eyes as he stared back.

"I plan on being an Emperor…"

[Present Day.]

I was still lost in the conversation I had with Nezu before I heard Tsuyu's voice next to my ear which brought me back.

"Ribbit, Ryuu, are you ok. You seemed to be lost in thought."

"Yeah I'm fine, thanks for checking on me Froppy." I said with a smile making Tsuyu blush a little.

"So who are you planning to work under for your experience Tsuyu?"

"I was nominated by Gang Orca's office. It seems like it's going to be an intense work experience since he's quite busy." Tsuyu said with a smile as I nodded my head.

"That's a good place. He's strong also, and he's a softie for kids. I'd like to meet him one day."

"But who are you working under Ryuu ribbit, it seemed as if you weren't bothered not having your name on the board. Rather you expected it," Tsuyu asked bluntly as she looked at me with a smile.

"So who is it?"

I started to chuckle a little when Tsuyu asked.

"Let's just say it's a terrifying man, Nezu," I said without hesitation as Tsuyu seemed to be confused. "It's the principal of the school, he's quite the adorable looking thing also."

Tsuyu was shocked when she heard that I would intern under Nezu. I was about to explain further but I wasn't able to as the bell rang for the next class.

The rest of the school day went by normally as nothing really exciting happened which honestly I was ok with… I lied. Nezu asked me to his office.

He gave me a decent sized file on Aoyama and his family background. It was quite the surprise as Nezu didn't really explain anything and only said do what you want with this information and waved me away.

"So you're working under our principal… We had one? What's he like?" Mei asked with a smile as Tsuyu started to laugh a little.

"Well he's adorable, fluffy, cute, oh and a terrifying person. But all in all a nice guy." I said as Tsuyu and I just picked up Mei from the support department.

"Oh, is he rich?" Mei shamelessly asked with a huge smile.

"Obviously, he even gave me a huge piece of land without hesitation. Plus he already figured out the whole traitor incident already and didn't tell anyone. Well he did inform me though."

Mei was no longer paying attention after I said obviously as she went into business mode which made me smile. But Tsuyu seemed to be interested when I mentioned that there was a traitor.

"There's a traitor?! Who-," Tsuyu asked with interest and pain in her voice. "Who could have done such a thing and caused such harm?"

"Aoyama, believe it or not, but it would be impossible to do anything to him. Plus I'm already supposed to make contact with him and find a way to be a double agent and infiltrate the Villain Alliance. So it's going to be sorta hectic."

I didn't notice when both Mei and Tsuyu stopped until after I was done speaking. But when I turned around and saw the varying looks of shock on their faces I started to laugh a little.

Mei was surprised but she knew that there was a traitor in class 1-A as she seemed more surprised by something else. Tsuyu was genuinely surprised as she couldn't believe someone from our class would betray their fellow students.

"So you're going to join the Villain Alliance?" Mei asked with a look of interest in her voice.

"Yeah, so you think you can make a special armor or suit for me, Mei. I think my original one might give me away."

Mei just smiled as she already turned around and headed back into the support department.

"I'll be late coming home Ryuu. You'd better give me an amazing massage later when I get back!" Then Mei turned around as she winked and spoke to Tsuyu with a comforting voice.

"He'll be fine Tsuyu our Ryuu is strong!"

Tsuyu started to blush a little as she turned to fiercely stare at Mei while Mei just started to laugh before she headed back to the support department.

I just smiled as I walked up to Tsuyu and gently hugged her. "I'll be fine Tsuyu, and don't worry about Aoyama. He won't be working with them any longer since I'm a bigger fish."

"But why would Aoyama do such a thing and betray us Ryuu, ribbit? He doesn't seem like the type of person to do such a thing, since he's so sparkly and such." Tsuyu said as she returned the hug with a firm squeeze.

"Everyone has their reasons and I don't think Aoyama didn't do it to harm us," I said softly as I looked into Tsuyu's eyes. "But let me worry about him as I'm pretty sure Nezu will help him out after today."

Tsuyu's smile got bigger as her face started to flush a little more before she buried her head into my chest.

"Just be safe Ryuu, ribbit. You'll be hanging around with some dangerous people."

"I will Tsuyu."

I said softly as we continued our embrace before Tsuyu slowly separated. Then said something about upgrading her hero suit as she started to head towards the support department.

I smiled as I watched Tsuyu hop away.

"Now let's go and see, Mr. I Can't Stop Twinkling, shall we." I said aloud with a relaxed smile as I started to head towards the drama department of the school where I knew Aoyama would be after school.

It wasn't that hard to get the information from Aoyama at all like, the moment I brought it up he jumped 20 meters… and that was without using his ability.

I had to slap Aoyama from freaking out further and explained the whole situation. Saying Nezu and others would be helping him and making sure everyone involved on his side was taking care of.

Which immediately started the waterworks for Aoyama.

He easily gave me a number to contact the person who he was in contact with while crying his heart out and the whole reason why he did what he did. He spilled out everything.

From being quirk less, his home life, to his favorite foods, who he had a crush on in third grade, oh and fucking All For One.
