Viviana was sitting on the couch fiddling with her fingers.
"Was that girl very important to you?" Leander asked.
Viviana looked at him. She couldn't even smile as her heart filled with sorrow remembering Leona. "Very much. She was my Leo, my angel, my defender… And she never hurt me... the only friend I had when everyone avoided me like the devil."
Leander pressed his lips.
'Joe's coming Leo'
He remembered the words she uttered that day. Those words shook him to the core.
"The Leo you mentioned on the rooftop that day…?" he asked. He didn't have the guts to hear her answer. He didn't want to. But he had asked her before he decided not to.
"It was her. I wanted to go to her, but you stopped me," She smiled wryly.
"Who is Joe?" he asked. Of course, she is sad about him saving her life. If the Leo she mentioned was a man, he would have thought that she was still in love with him. But it was a girl.
