Ch. 0 "THE BEGINNING OF AN END"

"General Rylee! *tcht* He's loose!! We can't hold him *tcht* Please send ba-" 

The voice speaking on the other side of the walkie-talkie was suddenly cut.

"Soldier! soldier! are you still there?" He asked, but there was no answer.

"What did you do to him Professor?!" he furiously asked the woman beside him.

"Of course I did nothing, but this situation might get more exciting don't you think so?" she replied to him and then started to chuckle.

"Then what is happening???" he questioned her.

She stared at him for a while before giving a reply "Aghh! I can't make jokes when you're this serious this is annoying!" Her words slightly pissed him.

"Annoying huh? Professor Misty! This is a crucial moment that could end up with a dozen casualties" he said with a pissed tone in his voice.

"General Rylee! Who was it that requested an inhuman project like this? I have warned you from the beginning that we may not be able to control him!" She replied with a slight loudness to her voice.

"Err... But what is happening?? What can we do?" He asked another question.

"Hmm, it doesn't seem to be tampered by anyone I guess he can not sustain the energy that was placed inside him, so I guess he's just releasing it" she briefly explained.

"H-E-L-L-O " they heard a weird stuttering voice that suddenly spoke to them out of nowhere.

The two looked around to see if there was someone else with them but there was no one, Rylee stared at the walkie-talkie but the voice didn't come from there either. 

"Who are you?" He screamed.

"I am ZERO" The voice replied to him.

"Zero? No! No! No way! This is not happening! How did this happen?! How?" The professor suddenly fell staring at her own hands "NO! NO! NO!" she screamed once more.

Her screams caught the attention of Rylee.

"Professor, Do you know him?" He turned to her and asked her only to see her sitting down and was crying, "Professor do you know him?" He asked once again but she didn't give an answer she was just crying.

The ground suddenly started to shake which made the general worry "Professor! Get yourself together" he screamed.

"Huh? Why is the ground shaking? There was no sign of an earthquake back at HQ" she suddenly said.

"More importantly we need to get out of here asap, can you stand up?" He said.

"Of course! Let's go" she replied.

They then rushed outside but what they saw shocked them, from a distance a new mountain was rising on its own, and lava began to come out of it.

"What on earth is happening?" The general asked, once again the professor started to get scared as if she knows what exactly is happening.

 "GENERAL!" Someone called them out while running towards them.

"What is happening Chase?!" Rylee asked him.

"I was fixing the suits for the girls when I saw something drop from the sky" he then pointed to the area where the ground was splitting, "where are the girls?" The general asked, "they are currently resting inside the pillars at HQ".

"Okay, let's go to HQ," he said and then quickly went into his car along with professor Misty and Chase.

"Welcome General where is our destination," the A. I inside the car said.

"HQ" he replied.

The ground then stopped shaking before the car started to move "Wait, Kristina" he said to the A.I., he looked back at the area where the ground separated only to see a horrifying dark figure. What he was something very similar to a demon, with large pointy wings, long horn on its head, and claws on its hand and feet.

"That's Entity Zero, a being capable of destroying the earth" the professor suddenly spoke.

 "What?" Chase asked with a confused look on his face while the general only stared at the professor waiting for more information.

"RAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" it suddenly cried out a rough shout. 

"KRISTINA HQ NOW!" he then gave out an order to the A.I.

He suddenly grabbed the professor by the shoulder and stared at her eyes.

"Y-you're too close general," she said while turning red.

"This is not the time for your sarcasm! What is that thing" he said with a pissed voice?

"Please calm down general! let her have her space" Chase said to calm him down.

"Sorry" the general apologized and sat back down on his chair.

"But professor what is zero?" Chase asked.

"As I said, Entity Zero is a being capable of destroying the earth, he was an experiment by a mad scientist and if I remember correctly his name is Professor Rufus," she said.

"Rufus? I think I heard the name before" chase said.

"He's not that famous but he was the partner of Professor Zayne, the head scientist at HQ before Professor Misty" Rylee explained.

"He is an acquaintance of mine," The Professor said "He was the one to recommend me to Professor Zayne, he's kind, but something existed in him"

"Something?" Chase asked.

"Ah, you remember the girls suddenly release an aura after we implanted the stones in their body right?" The Professor spoke.

"Yeah" Rylee nodded.

"They had a light-colored aura, but when I saw Professor Rufus for the first time he had a very dark and suffocating aura around him, I was able to see it because he was the only person at the lab when I arrived, but when professor Zayne arrived it vanished" she explained.

"We have arrived at HQ," Kristina said.

"Thank you, Kristina," the general said before stepping out of the car.

"Welcome back older brother!!" waiting in front of the door at HQ was a small girl with black pig-tailed hair and a small tiara on her head.

"Why are you outside Kylee?" Rylee asked her.

"I received a notification from Kristina that you were returning here so I waited for your arrival older brother" she explained.

"I see, is he here?" He asked her while patting her head.

"I think he arrived an hour earlier than you older brother" she replied.

"Alright let's get inside we need to discuss something," he said before entering the HQ building.

"Grub Morning General" a person spoke to Rylee.

"Stop eating with your mouth full Hugo!" Rylee said to him they then continued to walk towards the main office where he was waiting.

"Did HQ detect the immense energy outburst earlier?" Rylee asked Hugo while they were walking towards the room.

"Yes, we did! what is anyway? its energy level broke five of our meters, it that's another one of those beasts the girls wouldn't stand a chance against it" Hugo spoke.

"What do we do now? General?" Chase questioned out.

"Let's ask him for the answer to that, I think I can no longer control the situation" Rylee replied.

As they arrived at the main office a lockdown sequence was launched.

"What the.." Rylee suddenly opened the door to see that the staff at the main office were panicking except for a single person standing in front of the monitor.

"Ah so you've arrived General Rylee, Lieutenant Hugo, Professor Misty, and Mr. Chase" the man spoke not even looking who entered.

"Yes, sir! what are we supposed to do with this situation, sir?" Rylee asked while the others sat down.

"Rylee, you do know about the forbidden stones right?" the man asked him and he replied, "yes! sir! we have used the forbidden stones to enhance our weapons and three soldiers".

"Do you know those three girls?" the man asked another question Rylee hesitated as he does not know the answer.

"No Sir!" he replied.

"Those three were former students of the Elite Academy, they were part of the top 5 ranking students the other two were boys all of them show great talent in fighting but for some reason, only 4 people were compatible with the forbidden stones the other one was different," the man said.

"What do you mean different sir? isn't the answer simple? that it just means his compatibility was low and that he was just an ordinary human?" Rylee claimed.

"Those five were always together as they were all great friends, wouldn't his compatibility increase due to his exposure to those with high compatibility?" the man asked Rylee but he could not answer.

"Ah and he was the brother of the lost one" the man added.

"Lost one? the guy who went missing last month?" Rylee asked.

"yes, they are brothers, so there is only one reason that guys' compatibility was low".

Rylee was listening carefully to every word the man said.

"The only reason why he had low compatibility was that he unknowingly gave it to them" 

"But sir even if he has given it to them he should still be compatible with the weak stones," Rylee said.

"It is true but think carefully General if he has low compatibility and he can't even get the weak stones it means-" before the man could finish the roof suddenly burst open.

Everyone was surprised to see it, it had huge black wings, claws on its arms and feet, two large horns.

"General let's go!" Hugo pulled him and ran with the others towards a cube that they called "Safezone".

"Misty! what happens when your the provider of compatibility but you can't even accept weak stones?" Rylee nervously asked the professor.

"There is one stone different from the rest it is said to be a stone that has supported life on earth for billions of years," she replied.

"Professor Misty, Who is Zero?" Rylee asked her and stared at her face but she only stared back at him without even saying a word.

"Z-zero is...." before she could finish her sentence a long spear-like thing stabbed her piercing through his head to her feet.

"Misty!!" Rylee shouted, "Hugo, Chase he-".

As he turned around what he saw was so horrifying that he started to vomit, all the people were stabbed with thick rods that were eating their flesh at a fast pace, he looked around to see his sister at the corner of the cube crying and peed herself because of the horror that she saw, Rylee then rushed to her.

"Are you hurt?" he asked her.

"No," his sister said, she then started to cry as he hugged her.

"Don't worry, your older brother won't let you get hurt" he assured her.

 The door of the cube was suddenly opened and it entered the room, as it walked across the dead bodies towards the siblings it wing started to retract to its back, the claws fell leaving behind normal fingers, the horns shortened until it was not visible.

It was now standing in front of them, his sister suddenly stopped crying and started to walk towards the being.

 "KYLEE! DON'T GO NEAR THAT THING!!" he screamed but his sister still walked towards it and clung to its leg, it raised his hand and a long black spear started to form itself in the air.

"NO! DON'T!" Rylee begged but it continued.

He then saw a gun near him that was from the dead security guard and started to mercilessly shoot it, before the being fell down the spear was pierced to the girl's feet and started eating her. 

Anger started to burst out from Rylee that he went to the being laying down on the floor and shoot it until there were no bullets left.

Rylee felt relief after thinking that he had killed it and was about to leave the room when it suddenly started laughing.

"Human, do you think you can kill me?" it asked and then stood up.

Rylee was more scared than he was earlier that his knees weakened and he could no longer stand.

The being then broke the ceiling and took Rylee and flew towards the sky, Rylee has already lost everything that he no longer cared about out what was happening until they stopped, they were now above a city filled with people.

"Hear me, humans! You shall all perish with this wasteland you call home, I, Zero shall destroy you all" It screamed as the people below started panicking that some cars crashed, the being then pulled Rylee close to its face.

The being whispered into his ear and said "Rylee, I will return this wasteland from the beginning and you will live to tell the tale of Zero the destroyer of worlds, if you fail to do it, the world that you will live in will suffer the same fate as this one. Don't worry you can't DIE! I will also be watching. You shall call me ENTITY ZERO"

As the being snapped his fingers fossils of dinosaurs which roamed the earth a long time ago started to emerge from the grounds destroying everything, then came natural disasters such as earthquakes, thunderstorms, tornado, and tsunamis simultaneously. Destroying everything and Rylee was forced to watch the destruction.

But for some reason, he could not close his eyes days passed and the earth was in wrecked that it was unrecognizable the horror that he saw scared him that he no longer could speak or move when he thought everything was finished meteors the size of the moons started swarming the planet and then the sun exploded bringing only darkness, Rylee was stuck in the emptiness of the world.

As Rylee closed his eyes it spoke to him one last time "Tell the tale".

"Wahh!!! wahh!!"

"Honey our boy is crying again!" a man called to his wife.

"I think he's hungry," he said.

"Okay, I guess I'll feed it, You can stop now baby! daddy and mommy will always take care of you" she said while feeding the child

"We love you, Rylee!"...

"*yawn* hmm.. its morning already? that anime was long as hell, but it was at least good but.. *growl* ow so were hungry are we now, maybe he already prepared breakfast"
