Chapter 45: Where Are You?
"We went to her apartment and spoke to her former landlord, he reported to not have seen her since she moved out," Ken said.
Leo sat behind his desk wondering if they had really done enough. They had been gone the whole day, how had they just gone to her apartment.
"I told you to search for her in every corner of this city," Leo said sternly. He was getting agitated. With all the resources he had at his disposal, how was it proving so difficult to find her?
"We went around the city center showing her picture to people, but none spoke of meeting her. We also visited an aunt of hers, she said the last time she saw Sammy was at her mother's funeral."
Leo sucked his teeth as he tried to think. He had to strategize. Where was the mother of his child? His Sammy, his night flower.
