Canis Majora Training (2)

I woke up early, like usual, but this time my body wasn't in terrible pain any more, mild pain but I didn't notice the pain too much.

Strange…

But on the other hand, I can activate my powers now! But it is pretty weak, Sam noticed that the level of my power is just one, I remember that psychic powers have a certain level, I think Doctor Edgar is the one that told me that, but I wasn't listening…

For my power to get stronger, I need to train, either body or mind.

He looks up, Canis glares at Sam, a strange aura engulfed Sam, he then turns around and speaks.

"-This man is very well-trained," he says, it was the voice of Canis Majora, overlapping on Sam's voice.

"Sam…?"

"-He does not hear you, I made him lose consciousness, he will not remember this, the memory that he will have will be when he will just wake up"

"It's a little strange talking to you, Canis, while you're inside Sam's body, and your main body is there, is this your hidden ability or something?"

"-I can control the wolve people with ease"

"-Ready your weapon, prophecy holder"

"Just do this…" I stretched my arm to the side, my palms open "then" I grabbed hold of thin air and pulled.

Blue flame appeared and something materialised in thin air, I couldn't hold my excitement and shrieked in delight.

The sword that I used at the attack, it was that fencing sword that I got interested in, I brought the hilt to my face and smiled, there's an energy flowing in it I can feel it.

"How awesome is this Aster?!"

"I c-can a-al-also feel the heat…"

"Really?"

"-Do you know how to use your weapon?"

"Yeah, I'm into fencing, but this isn't a sport here right? This is life and death…" I got nervous.

"-This is just training, but you have to keep in mind that, you will eventually bring upon it on enemies"

"-Now" Canis says, it pulls a big ass sword in thin air, I gaped "-Ready?"

"T-That," I said shocked

"Sir. Sam is a c-claymore w-wielder"

"-Ready to support, Princess of the Star!"

"U-Understood!"

Canis lunged forward and brought an upward slash, I parried in the nick of time, my arm felt the impact of the two swords making me flinch.

"-Be vigilant!"

Canis did not let up on offence, it delivered attack after attack, while I was on the defense, the next attack got me flying, it spinned with it's claymore and I got thrown away.

In order to not accidentally die, I levitated myself, thankfully it worked.

"How do I defeat Canis?" I mumbled

"..." Aster looked like she was concentrating on something towards Canis

"What is she doing?"

"-Not going forward?" Canis Majora lifted a hand, rocks floating, then shooting towards me.

"Whoa!" I erected the blue flame shield activating the prophecy powers.

Canis shot rocks towards me one after the next, I slowly floated down while still having the shield on, but it disappeared after a while, and some of the rocks hit me, it hurt like hell!

"-You are still weak, that is why the shield disappeared"

"Damn" I needed to think.

"-Think while you are in battle!"

Canis stepped his right foot back and ran with great speed towards me, I was so startled that I almost got cut in half by the swing of the sword, I parried in time, but I got hurt.

How did Canis become fast?!

Wait…

Earlier…

Aster was chanting something, then this happened…

"I see"

"-You are going to fail if you are not capable of defeating your friend's Prophecy Holder!"

I stepped back, Canis Majora shot rocks again towards me but in this one, I deflected it by using Telekinesis as well scattering it everywhere.

"-Hmp" Canis looks smugged, and rushed forward again but this time I did the same, it's going to make a slash down, while I ready my sword "-HAAAAAA!"

Teleport.

I disappeared with a blink, Canis slashing thin air, Canis looked around and it saw me heading towards Aster.

"..." Aster looked nervous

"Sorry, Aster" 

I slashed her but there was a barrier, I looked annoyed.

"S-Sorry, Seraphine"

"-Behind you!"

I parried in time.

I teleported away to put some distance on us again, Canis levitated a sizable rock and threw it towards me, I stopped it then crushed it by closing my palm.

Canis nodded in approval, but then he went forward then did a backflip slamming the sword onto the ground it shook and cracked, I levitated up and a pointy rock went from the ground up towards me.

"This is so unfair, I don't know any tricks on me!"

"-Try to think! Strategise!" I was thoughtful and then thought of something.

I threw my sword towards Canis.

Of course, it was ready to flick it away when I teleported, grabbed it, teleported again, behind it, and then slashed it's back.

"-Gh…"

"Ah…!"

Aster had a green light emit from her body, I focused on Aster this time, I absorbed the energy around, I then kicked the ground, and it shook towards Aster.

"Eek!" She dropped onto her bottom and I dashed towards her, the barrier down, "KYAAAAA" she shrieked in surprise.

The only thing that I did is take away her cold staff though, I just snatched it away, she looked confused.

"Interesting…"

"Aster is out of the game right?"

"-Yes"

"Aw…"

I returned her staff, she then stepped aside, towards Ishana and the main body of Canis Majora.

"-Now it's just one on one"

"..."

Both of us clashed swords again, a slight shockwave being created, both of us are now on offence.

While both of us are clashing swords, Canis hasn't noticed the pebbles gathering above him, I was gathering the pebbles putting on the blue flame on it to maximise the drop and damage.

"So this is the movements of a claymore user, more on brute strength and swings…"

"-Hmp!"

Canis put distance by stepping back a few distances, its eyes glowed for a second before putting a hand forward.

"-Terrene!"

"..."

The ground shook, it was an earthquake, I held my ground and mimicked what Canis Majora did.

"Terrene!" I said putting a hand forward.

The earthquake intensified, the ground was lifting upwards, both of the powers clashing, but the ground on my side lifted higher than Canis.

"Amazing…" I heard Aster say

"Now!"

I brought my hand down, and the pebbles now a rock that is the size of seven hands, above Canis Majora dropped, and shot towards it's hand.

The impact made it release the grip from the sword, the sword clattered on the ground.

"I win!"

"-Very good"

"Hahaha!" I cheered and laughed merrily, Ishana and Aster clapped their hands.

"-You are free to go"

"Yes!" I pumped my arm.

"-But how did you turn the tides?"

"Well, I just thought of action movies and anime…"

"-I do not know what that is"

"Probably not, since it's a thing on my world"

"-I see, good thing that you have used it to fight, your fighting style is unique"

"Hahaha...thanks"

I remember that ninja anime show, the magic anime show as well as old and new action films.

"-I will now stop possessing this body, but first" Sam's body had a green glow, the wounds I inflicted healed

"What about me?"

"-A human heals naturally, when healing on your part is rushed it becomes more of a complication rather than being an aid"

"...That's why Aster refuses to always heal me"

"Y-Yes"

"-There," Canis says, the wolve returns to its body

-You all have done well, tomorrow will be the final training, I expect great results as well.

"Hey, Sam!"

"Why do I feel like I pulled a muscle?"

"Hahaha…"

"You fought Princess Seraphine, Brother!

"Huh?"

"Ishana, he doesn't know"

"Oh...sorry"

"It's alright"

We explained to him what happened, and he was just confused, in any case, Canis Majora let us home before lunch, I'm happy that all my watching of films and anime paid off.
