"What on earth are you talking about? How can you talk out outspokenly about something you aren't even certain of?" Mrs. Li had quickly snapped after the maid had placed her speculation.
"Forgive me ma'am" The maid had quickly toned down on her knees in fear "I would not lie to you or make something up. I don't have any reasons to do so...I'm just saying what I saw" The man exclaimed.
"What rubbish...How can you slander her like that with evidence?!" Mrs. Li went on in her own opinion while Lili sat there watching.
"Aunty, You don't need to go so harsh on her," She said.
"Can't you see ..Look at what she's simply talking about. She indeed deserves a beating!" Mrs. Li went on.
Lili looked at the maid who was still trembling in fear "Don't be afraid. Just be certain of what you're talking about. Then no one will harm you. But if you're just making it up. Then we won't let you off easily" She stated
