Ella began to cry and her hands were shaking terribly.
"She was just joking, she would never hurt anyone. She would never try such a thing"
Ella looked up at her with tears brimming down her little cheeks. "She isn't joking, I saw that look in her eyes before mum died. She was looking at me exactly the way she did now."
Rose's lips trembled a bit. How much more does this girl know?
Trying to lay her down to bed again without saying a word. She noticed her usual illness was back again.
"Ella!.. Ella.. Don't implicate me this way please. Remember that your brother is coming over, huh?."
Rose held her tight as Ella kept shaking terribly.
Naomi felt a tight hand on her neck all of a sudden when walking down to her room. She knew who it was so she didn't struggle or shout.
A loud thud on the floor, Naomi maintained a straight face.
"Is that what the boss asked you to do?."
Giving her a glare, she scoffed. "I don't think you have the right to tell me that because we both are assigned different duties and I don't get why you keep poke nosing into my business!. "
Mabel hissed. She knew how Naomi was from the start. She wouldn't be surprised if this bitch surpasses them one day.
"I need to poke because you are gonna let everyone begin to suspect you sooner. And do you know what that's gonna cost the Boss? Do you?!. "
Naomi laughs. "Mabel don't tell me you are protecting Ella .Don't tell me you are trying to back out now."
"I never said anything concerning that. I just want to warn you about your stupid ways of doing things in this mansion. Just make sure it doesn't backfire to me and the rest. Make sure of that."
Taking two steps to the door, Naomi's words halted her steps.
"And make sure your decision isn't wavering when you meet Marcelo."
Naomi grinned and walked out. She will do things her way. No one can take what belongs to her. Never, she has come to this mansion with a mission and it must be accomplished even with her life on the line.

Gulping down a chilled fruit juice, Stacy wiped the sweat off her face. Looking at the envelope before her gave her some sort of satisfaction.
Jenny sat by her side, whispering gently. "Why don't you work as a permanent waitress instead of doing this? James is a very good friend of mine and I promise no hurdles."
Stacy glanced up at her. "Jenny, I have got mum to take care of and this temporary job of a thing pays me more than those peanuts I receive after a month. You knew the last experience I had, I nearly lost mum and I couldn't even receive the full payment I worked for. Life can be totally unfair?"
A heavy sigh escaped her lips. Jenny gulped what was remaining.
"Yes, Life can be very unfair but what if someone recommends you to a bigger place than this? Would you reject it because of your mum? You and I know she mustn't hear you saying this."
Stacy nodded. "Yeah.. Yeah I know...but luckily if I get a job that pays me well then I will decide how to take care of her while working but now, Let me hold on to this."
"What if your application at the Wilton's gets approved within this week?"
"Then I guess you would have to stay with my mum throughout this week then. I know you will resume at work starting from next week so don't dare dodge it." Stacy gave a smile which showed her two sided dimples.
"Don't give me that, Stacy, because I am not buying it."
"Really? Then should I call your boss and tell him how you deceived him into thinking you were sick so you could spend the whole time resting and having fun as you implied?"
"Ohh.. Little pumpkin.. Don't dare try teasing me at all." Stacy laughs.
Jenny nodded. "But Stacy, are you really happy or are you just pretending to be strong?."
Stacy's expression changed to a solemn one. This girl knows how to hit her weakest button. "I am fine, Jenny. Stop looking at me that way. I have great skills and with time, things would fall into place for me. Let me start from the scratch as you did as well and then it would be great to feel the fulfillment of my hard work."
"Are you sure you aren't telling a lie about how you really feel?."
"No, I'm not."
Jenny held her hands and they gave each other a warm smile.

Thinking about what he might have forgotten for the flight. Cathy came in with files in her hands.
"No worries, I had compiled everything you needed in the car already. You just need to get in and be out of my sight sooner."
Marcelo sighs. It was obvious she was still raging inside about what happened. When will he ever be able to understand these ladies?
"Cathy, it's not as if I am insensitive to everything that has been happening. I don't just make decisions under a tense atmosphere and you know that."
Taking a tie that suits the suit he wore, she walked up to him.
"Yeah, I know but I expected even one reaction from you but nothing came forth. I guess I should be getting used to that side of you, right?
"When I get to Chicago, I will step up everything as you've said, Satisfied now?"
"No, I'm not and I wouldn't. Maybe until you grant I and Ella's wish when you get there. What do you think?"
"Cathy grinned. She knew Marcelo would argue out his lungs on this.
"I know you are expecting an argument again but maybe I am gonna think about it."
A wide smile spread through her lips."Really!.. You gonna... "
Her words were cut short as Ken barged in.
Marcelo grimaced at the look Ken gave him. "What went wrong?. My flight was stopped?"
"No boss. It's Ella. She got her usual illness again and a doctor was called when everyone noticed she was nowhere to be found."
His heart beat seemed to stop. "Ella is missing from the mansion?"
"Yes Boss. Ella is missing."
