Warning and Solutions

Isabelle continuously looked over her shoulders to make sure that the Julian behind her wasn't an illusion. Back at her realm, it would take at least the might of ten elite warriors to put down a demon with such destructive prowess. However, in a matter of minutes, Julian had crushed the beast without sustaining major damage. It became clear to Isabelle why her father had lost the invasion against Icarus.

"You should have left me at the castle." Isabelle said as they walked into the domain of the rumored soothsayer.

"This demon is nothing compared to what's back there. I know you don't want to die, so don't pretend to not fear death." Icarus shot back, his gaze focused on the path and nothing more. Until he finds out about the demon plaguing his castle, leaving Isabelle behind was not something he could afford.
