"We need to get out of here Khalil," Jarred gritted, barely holding his growing anger towards me and the situation.

I glared at him "You leave me alone, take these kids with you"

"What are you gonna do? Suicide? Leave those brats inst-"

"Do you even hear the words you're telling me Giovanni? I told you to leave, i'll deal with this myself"

"You don't get to order me around! Everyone was aware of us! It won't take them long to come and murder us!! You heard me?!" He boomed furiously and the kids visibly flinched terrified by him.

I tensed when Tally suddenly ran towards him hugging his upper leg

"Tally-"

"Please Mr.! don't be angry with h-her, c-calm down please? Here, I've got something for you" Tally sobbed as she offered a bunch of candies towards Jarred. The sight shattered my chest, but her small frame and Jarred's somehow fluttered my chest yet her begging broke me.

"You-you don't like it? It's sweet, it's something my older sister used to give us before" she bit her puffed lips as her nose and ears visibly turned red as if to prevent her outcry.

Jarred was just staring down at the curly blonde girl, nothing else was shown on his face nor eyes.

"Do you want some too?" Tally peered in Jarred's leg offering her one hand with some candies towards Harrison from behind. His eyes can't even hide the emotions he is holding as he gazes towards Tally.

"Call back up and take these kids out," Jarred suddenly looked away clenching his jaw as Harrison nodded with a little smile on his lips still gazing at Tally.

"Jarred t-thank you so m-"

"Deal with it, alone" he cut me over and I went stiff.

He's not going to help me. He's going to leave me here.

Suddenly a loud bang was heard at the entrance making us all ducked yet Harrison and the kids already managed to get near the emergency exit.

Jarred walked past me heading towards the same direction and here I was staring at the armed Force entering, spreading the whole place.

I gather all the possible tools to use in action then hide at the dim part of the place. I need to lure them for a bit for them to take time escaping.

I threw three metal cutting knives in a row aiming at the lights in every table and I missed one.

"How dare you mess with us, you intruder! We will make sure you'll face worse than death!" I heard someone announced

"Then please come right here" i yelled dryly

As the knife were all settled between my fingers ready to shot who ever the fuck moves.

I could tell they've been signaling towards each other yet It didn't go unnoticed to me especially when I could sense their faint footsteps.

I threw my knife at someone who passed by in my area and quickly snatched his weapon. Gladly, it was a gun with a silencer. I pulled his helmet for me to prevent further damage.

I slink out and notice a lot of them heading near my place. I aimed again towards the lights and swiftly hide back when bullets was heard piercing through the metal tables

I can't take them all, I need to escape, but outside will surely be more dangerous than here. What the fuck am i going to do now?

Would jarred really going to abando-

I hissed as a bullet went through the sliding cabinet I'm currently hiding and unfortunately reached my shoulder. Blood instantly streamed down as another shot pierce through it, luckily I got away and fired towards the aimer.

I set my knives between my fingers and threw them on the lights again the same time I caught the hiding figures and shot them instantly. I was utterly shocked when Another bullet hit my side. It came from behind. Why didn't I notice it?

I turned back ready to throw my knife yet no one was around. There's only one to blame and I went more anxious knowing it's only one target was me. A sniper.

This is bad. I can't even stand properly, I need an immediate treatment at this rate or I'd be drained.

I dropped on my knees tasting a metallic liquid running out in my tongue. I crawled near the emergency exit yet another bullet almost buried in my skull causing me to halt and instantly lay flat on the floor where the walls completely hide me.

I can't make it. It's the end for me.

Oh dear lord, I might be one of those unforgivable sinner who deserves to rot in hell but i wish to ask one favor, please take care of those kids and-

A low chuckle heard from not too far beside me.

"Poor little kitty, that must be painful, need a hand?" I heard Jarred's low mocking voice

I didn't respond but my hand tried to reach for him.

He kept sneering demonically and I just realized he should be out by now with the kids.

My senses perked up as I took recognition with his underlying tone.

"Where the hell are they?" I hissed painfully.

"You don't have any idea how worse your impulses cost me" he crouched down and wiped the blood in my mouth.

"You nearly destroyed me Khalil, and my plan got wasted" he whispered, gritting his teeth.

"Whe- where are t-they?" I barely catch up my breath

"He-help me" I managed to utter before clutching on his suit. He observe me before grinning

"If I helped you out, then that cost the kids lives"

My heart aches just by hearing his response, I thought he helped them escape!

"My name and my life is at risk Khalil, but i could give you a piece of advice" he again wiped the licking blood out of my mouth

"Go, leave me. I don't have to live-at, at all." I managed to utter before my body started to feel numb and cold.

This is it.

"Damnit, you never put up a fun, how boring" he breathed before I felt lifted off the floor.

"We won't let you escape!" i heard someone yelled

"Were not escaping pal, tell your Boss I'll talk to him about the damage, and just wanted to tell you, this woman is my fiancee"
