Rachel POV,
Just as he made to open the door, the door flung open on its own and four people rushed in.
Three were guards and one was Wallace. The guards were panting and looking panicked except for Wallace who just walked in normally with his hands behind him. "What's going on?" Lowell asks, obviously baffled at the way they barged in and his facial expression is no way different from mine.
"It's Daciana your slave girl," Wallace said and scoffed as I quite anticipated what he was going to say.
"What about her?" Lowell arched his arch, his eyebrow, his corner of his curved chapter conveying disgust and I was a little relieved that he gave no damn about her.
"She fainted. We found her in the dungeon lying unconscious." One of the guards announced and my relief transformed into rage.
"What?" Lowell turned to face me in shock and My brow was also furrowed in shock. How could that be possible? I was completely flummoxed "Where is she now?"
"Still at the dungeon" replied the guard with a bow.
Lowell didn't say any more words but veered towards the door. "Lowell, wait..." I tried to stop him but he was already storming out.
And the guards walked out with him but Wallace stayed back staring at me with scorn. Well, that's the least of my problems. how the hell did they find that repellent slave in the dungeon? I'm very sure I made her run into the forest. I wanted to formulate something to deceive Lowell but hell he didn't even wait to hear me out and if he finds her at the dungeon then I'm very sure Rena is responsible for this cause she was the only one who saw me and she probably connive with her stupid mate Wallace.
"How did you find her??" I finally growled at Wallace angrily and sent him daggers.
"Like I'll tell you that. You should be praying Daciana doesn't get to tell the alpha what you did. You of all people should know what Lowell is capable of doing right?" He raised an eyebrow in a warning stance.
I laughed and then scoffed.
"I've nothing to worry about because firstly she wouldn't dare tell me and if she does I'm gonna turn the table against her. Don't underestimate me. My brain does wonders." I smirked.
"Don't get too confident," He drew close to me and I whispered in my ear.
"Cause I may be the one to turn that table." And with that, he walked out.
His threat got me infuriated and Palms balled into a fist. I screamed and shattered the scrolls on the table. That Rena is surely gonna regret being my sister.
Cause I am very certain that she was the one who had ruined my plans.
