REALIZATION

" what is going on ?,what is happening?" Kira asked as she looked around,It was as though she had been resurrected into a world that looked like hers expect that there was no life in this world . It felt as though she was standing in the atmosphere,like there was no land.

She took a look around her, there was nobody on the streets; no human,no android,no robots,no drones ,the streets were deserted, "how did i get here,is there really a place as this"she thought to herself ,she ment to turn, she smelt something burning,something liquid melting away "larva" the thought screamed into her being that she made to move slightly ;enough to see a hot blazing ....

She didn't know what to call it as ; a rock,a hot blazing rock ,a meteorite, a meteroid, a missile; maybe it was a rock with the speed of a comet,the shape of a missile and the weight of a meteriod ,but whatever it was it could have melted her, turned her into liquid matter, she was lucky to have turned, she felt the heat as the material passed her .

She followed the movement and turned about but as the substance was faster.

All she could see was an explosion and the world around her in a melted state .

Instinct-based ,she turned and she missed another meteriod but this time she could see the perpetrator, the reason for the meteriod that almost melted her,the meteriod that melted the world around her .

He stood in the sky ,she could not see his face ,she could just make out his form and his outfit, she remembered that she did not have her glasses with her, when she saw him,she was afraid first,then rage filled her whole being ; she rushed at him with such fury she did not even realise that she was walking on the atmosphere, it was like she was moving on air and she was very fast "i have superspeed" the thought flashed to her "nonsense" she thought again to herself.

She grabbed his arm, there was a machine on both arms and he shot out larva from his machine arm with which he destroyed everything around him, she started pulling at his arm and screaming her head out " are you crazy?,what the hell are you doing" .

"Are you out of your mind" she hit him on the chest with both of her knuckles and her fingers locked into each other.

"If you don't stop everything we know would melt away" "why are you destroying everything you see,don't you want a beautiful earth ,huh !!" .

she kept hitting him against his chest and pulling his machine arm "you're destroying everything!, are you crazy?" .

she felt an itch in her throat but she could care less, all she was concerned with was getting rid of this mad fellow "you are crazy, you're sick, can't you see the damage you've done, what's your gain in this?.

she kept yelling and pulling at the machine ,she didn't realise that the boy wasn't struggling at all .

She felt a slight tug, he pushed her "i should stop?" ,

The voice hit her so loud ,she went in a shock mode and she couldn't come out of it,she let his arm free and stood in a place.

That voice ;why did it hit her so bad,at that point in her trance, her dreamland where she painted a world of hers, she began to notice her environment ,the whole world seemed dark, actually it was very dark, there was only just darkness, she looked at the world below her, it was in ruins, there was larva everywhere, all the buildings were in ruins, the buildings were in a flood of larva, the fields were burnt and the atmosphere on which she stood was filled with the smell of coal and ash .

The sky was covered in black clouds and red larva was lined on the clouds ,the whole world seemed like the picture of the apocalypse in the virtual reality game she had just played in her game pod ,she had a surrogate, who acted and played as her in her world ; "this cannot and never be my world" ,she really wished her surrogate was the one in this apocalypse and handling this dillemma.

" you're asking what my gain is ,huh" his voice was deep and unruly and it shook the very bane of her existence in "apocalypse",it made her snap out of her trance and shudder and yet ,it felt as if she knew that voice so well ,like it was drawn from her, as though she had grown to be so familiar with it. " why does it feel like i should know this voice,this is crazy" the thought filled her head.

"you're asking me what my gain is?,huh"

his face was filled with rage and consumed with emotions.

"you're asking if i can't notice the damage i've done,huh?" His voice was getting choked on his emotions and when she felt as though he was about to cry, she looked up at his face but she only saw eyes; dark, treacherous, mean eyes ,she could have read a thousnad meaning to those eyes,there was hurt, betrayal and tears. His face was full of scars, half the face was tattooed, his face was gruesome. "do you ever ask what damage you have done" there was so much emphasis on the "YOU" .

"But i don't know you" she struggled to say but in heart she knew better than to say that.

She didn't know why, 'do i really not know him' she thought to herself "It would have been better of you hadn't done it" he blurted i don't understand.

This time in her heart she was genuinely concerned and also curious plus she truly had no idea of what she was talking about. She was talking ,she felt a hand round her neck, she felt her body rising slowly, she struggled to come down but his grip on her neck was strong.

"you should have stopped"

"you shouldn't have done the damage"

"you should have taken your stand" at that moment she wanted to speak but she felt life slowly leaving her body "what are you saying" she wanted to say but it came out as a stifled groan " you're crazy" she also tried to say but it came out as mumbles.

As if in concurrence, he said "you're the one whose crazy, you the one who's gone nuts".

" If you had stood your ground ,the world would have been safe, i would have been there".

"but now its no use,i will destroy evetything with my very own hands"

"better to be dead than to be in bondage"

" goodbye, it's over" he said with a smirk ,an evil smile.

"no, no" she tried to scream but this time no sound came out, she was completely drained of strength, she was fainting .

He flung her to a rock .

She stood afar and saw her shattered bones against the rock, she saw her body in various pieces but she could care less as there was nothing she could do about it ,she was GONE.

She wondered what tied her to this apocalypse even in death, she thought she would be in heaven in a river of chocolate, but no she had to be here, she saw him and this time ran at him with all the speed she could gather but instead she simply disappeared and was in front of him,she tried to pull at the machine arm but the arm went right through her,she stood in front of the laser's meteoroid but it passed right through her and that was when the realization dawned on her ; she was no longer human, she was dead, she had no body, she possessed a soul that had found no rest and until she solved the mystery that held her to him, tied her to this destructive universe , she would wander .

Last thing she remembered was an explosion and larva. she woke up.

For about ten minutes, she kept searching for air ,she was breathless, she was sweaty and drenched in her own pespiration, she pulled at the blanket and tried to come off the bed but she could not move, it was as though she was experiencing seizures " Hemispherectomy" that was the first thing that came to mind, she could get half of her brain removed or get an electronic brain that worked just like the computer microchip, with thousands and millions of sensors that could transmit impulses and data and brain signals to other parts of her body through a specialized synapse pathway and the android doctor, Xjing created by the mutant alien ,Xavier would perform the operation on her.

" stupid" was the next thing she wanted to say after running through her thoughts but for some reason she couldn't get the word out ,she wanted to call out someone ,anyone but she remembered there was no one ,the only thing not exactly a person that she could call out to was her surrogate; Ilga133 and she was in her pod charging and the only wat she could activate her to come out of the pod and help her was through her pod helmet or her control watch none of which were within her reach.

Kira remembered a "get rid of the fear" therapy session her by her best friend and psychologist; Leah ,actually it was Leah surrogate, seah421 that handled the session,the only time Leah came out of her home ,out of her pod was to talk to her ,Kira and that was on request which was seldom.

She decided to try the process, she stopped all her futile movements, then she slowly stopped grasping for air, she gently laid on the bed and tried to think of a clear sky, it took her fifteen minutes to do so.

A clear sky won't come on but a cloudy sky did pop up, she decided to make do with the cloudy sky, she saw birds, wings spread, chirping and humming in the sky in her thoughts, the clouds grew darker, she tried to open her eyes but in her thoughts, it had started raining, all the birds were taking shelter, she thought she would wake up in her thoughts but instead she became unconscious.
