SIX YEARS LATER

"How long do you think he will still stay that way"

"At this rate, I don't know anymore"

In a science lab, two middle-aged men wearing lab coats are seen standing in front of a crystal sphere as they discussed among themselves. Inside that crystal, a sphere radiating a blinding light is seen.

"Am sick and tired of monitoring this dormant crystal for god knows how long now" one of the men said with a loud sigh. But the man next to him who was wearing eyeglasses also gave out a loud sigh as he spoke.

"But there is nothing we can do about it, Steve. Lord Xavier personally told us to inspect the sphere of the god of elements and there is no way we can neglect our job"

"But it's been too long now. And also I don't mean to be disrespectful but I don't think what Lord Xavier said makes sense" The man named Steve replied with a tired look on his face. But before the man next to him could reply to what Steve said, a sudden earthquake appeared in the lab.

"What is going on?" the man asked with a confused expression on his face as he looked at his surrounding.

"An earthquake shouldn't possibly appear here because of the landscape unless..." Steve muttered to himself before he suddenly looked at the crystal sphere in front of him with an expectant gaze. When the man beside him saw how he was staring at the crystal right in front of him, understanding dawned upon him as he said.

"It's finally happening"

The earthquake continued for five more minutes before a long crack appeared on the crystal sphere. After some time, smoke began to come out of the long crack as other cracks began to appear on the crystal sphere. After some more time smoke appeared on the cracks and new cracks appeared, the crystal exploded as its pieces flew in a different direction. But before that could happen, the scientist suddenly activated a barrier around the crystal sphere by pressing a button found in each of the scientist's hands.

"Marvelous" The man with the eyeglasses spoke with glittering eyes.

What the scientist saw inside wasn't a blinding sphere, but a teen who was floating with his eyes closed. his clothes were tattered as his upper body was completely bare while his lower was torn in different none private places. his hair was now golden in color as a rainbow-like crystal was found on his forehead.

"Thank the heavens for not allowing a female to watch over this crystal," Steve said while staring at the boy in front of him with a strange smile. Although the boy in front of them was a mess, his body can be labeled as a dream body for every female.

"Hahaha, that's true," the man beside him said while laughing loudly. But not long after, his laugh abruptly ended as a threatening pressure landed on the lab.

'Looks like am finally out' Dave thought while staring at the two unknown men in front of him as he landed on the floor with his bare feet. After Dave gained his ground with legs he hadn't used for six years, he approached the two scientists and asked with a tense voice.

"How long has It been?"

'Peak of Rank B!' Steve screamed in his mind as he tried to talk with sweat dripping all over him.

"Umm... it's been... six years"

When he heard an answer, a twitch suddenly appeared on his cold face as he said mind gloomily.

'There goes my childhood'

"Who are you guys?" Dave eventually asked with a gloomy expression still on his face.

"My name is Smith and he's Steve. We are scientists that lord Xavier appointed to watch over you while being in the crystal sphere" the man with the glasses spoke with sweat also dripping from his body.

"Lord Xavier? who is that?" asked Dave with a confused expression on his face.

"I am the leader and the hope to all humanity" a calm voice was heard in the lab as a man suddenly appeared between Dave and the scientist.

'Rank S!' Dave screamed in his mind while he kept a calm look on his face while saw a man wearing a golden robe suddenly appear in front of him. When Lord Xavier saw the calm-looking teen in front of him, he suddenly had a satisfied expression on his face as he said.

"I expect nothing less from a gods successor"

Although Dave had got surprised by what Lord Xavier said, he quickly suppressed it as he asked with a threatening tone.

"How did you know about this?"

"Well let's just say am a historian" Lord Xavier replied with a smirk on his face. But after he saw Dave began pondering on something, he then asked with a curious look now on his face.

"Now that you are out of your awakening, what are you going to do now?"

When Dave heard that question, he seemed to remember something as he said.

"Well am going to get back our lands from those vile creatures"
