" you're not my type" he said and left.

She looked at him as he left the auditorium, she wasn't his type. What a fool she was to think that Raymond would love her. He had rejected her twice in a row now. What a shame!!

She fought back the tears that were welling up in her eyes. She decided that she would not become a fool for love.

" Fuck love!" She muttered under her breathe before heading to the principal's office.

THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE........

She walked into the principal's office and saw that Raymond was already there. She avoided his gaze and waited for the principal to walk in.

" Sorry for keeping you waiting" Mr Shawn walked in. He say down comfortably on his chair.

" Have your seat" he told them.

They sat on the chairs opposite Mr Shawn.

" So I guess you know why I  called you both here. Incase you don't know, I'm expecting results on the lunch thief and you have a deadline of tomorrow to provide me with the name of the lunch thief" he stated bluntly.

Raymond looked at Ariana but she didn't look back at him. She could feel his eyes on her but she did not want to give him the pleasure of seeing those eyes that once shed tears because of his rejection.

" You can go now and remember, provide me with solid evidence"  he told them.

They got up and left his office.

  How was he expecting them to provide him with solid evidence In less than twenty four hours? Ariana sighed. She was about to leave when Raymond stopped her by holding her wrist.

" Meet me after closure" he said and made to leave.

" Who do you even think you are?" She asked frustrated. " Do you think you can just boss me around? Get this straight, I'm not meeting after closure" she said and made to leave.

" And why not? You heard what the man said. We have till tomorrow to get the thief" Raymond said.

" Yeah. I'll do it myself" she stopped to rethink her words. did she just offer to do all the work herself? She screamed in her head.

"Good. " Raymond chuckled. " I'll see you tomorrow" he said and left.

She watched him leave. What had she just done? She sighed.

After closure, Ariana had her acting class with her and Nicolas Maduro as the lead.

They were informed that there was an addition of a kissing scene in the play which meant Ariana and Nicolas would have to kiss. Nicolas agreed and so did Ariana. She had no other choice.

THE NEXT DAY......

" Students of Merother high school, " Mr Shawn started, he had gathered all the students in the auditorium. " I am highly disappointed that one of you would go as far as stealing other people's lunch just to satisfy their self. Whoever the lunch thief is, I am giving you one last chance to come clean or else, face the consequences" he waited for a while, hoping the lunch thief would come clean but no one came forward. He sighed. " Ariana Wilson, Raymond Styles, come froward"

Ariana and Raymond came forward.

" Present your evidence" he said.

Ariana connected her phone to the projector and showed a video to the whole school, proving Presley the lunch thief.

" Presley Houston" the principal called.

Presley walked to him with her head bowed in shame. She had just being caught and was now the laughing stock of the whole school.

" Do you have anything to say about this?" He asked.

" No sir. I accept that I'm the lunch thief" she said.

" With my power as the principal of Merother high school, I hereby suspend you indefinitely from college and you'll only be called back after careful reconsideration. You may leave" he said and a shamed Presley ran out of the auditorium. 

" However, as for the two people who were able to catch the lunch thief. I am hereby presenting them with 5 credits each, giving them enough to finally graduate from high school" he said and all the students cheered.

He said some other things to the students before finally leaving the auditorium.

" Ari!!" Casey ran to Ariana.

" Casey!!" Ariana called and both girls held hands and giggled.

" I'm so happy for you"

" Thank you."

" We should celebrate" Casey suggested.

" Lunch at McDonald's. Treat's on me"

" Done"

" Come, let us get to class" Ariana said and they both left.

   Raymond turned but saw that Ariana was gone. He'd wanted to congratulate her but she left. He decided to go after her.

" Hi Ariana" that was Nicolas.

" Hi Nick. What's up" 

" I'm cool. Congrats on the lunch thief" he congratulated, giving her a bouquet of flowers.

" Thanks" she said smiling.

" Acting today?" He asked.

" Everyday of the week" 

" See at you classes then" he said.

" Bye" they shared a brief hug and she left.

Raymond who saw Nicolas give Ariana flowers could not help but feel jealous. He wondered why he was feeling jealous, he sighed. What a complicated life!!!
