56 Unreasonable Issabella vs Viero

Thirty minutes since the restaurant guard went. The guard returned to the place and stood far from Issabella's table. He saw the defeated young master had turned into an ugly pig. Even the pig was cuter than the young master.

Trevon had already sat in his chair and enjoyed his dumplings. He also had taken some pills from his grandmother to remove his internal and external damage.

Max and his other friends didn't dare to stop the fight. They only stood on the side, the lady hadn't allowed them to move from the premise. Those young masters and lady had seen the Lady attacked their friend unexpectedly. Their bodyguards also stood behind their young masters and lady. The young lady even cried, but she tried not making noises.

"It has been a long time since I meet you, Lady Issabella." A middle-aged man appeared. In his heart, he complained. [Why could this woman in the city?]

Trevon looked into the incoming middle-aged man. He had several white hairs on his head, but his posture still expressed a powerful pressure on Trevon. His thin and sharp eyebrow added with his sharp eyes looked into Issabella. A thin mustache and a short goatee decorated his dignified face.

"Issabella greeted Master Viero." Issabella greeted the middle-aged man. Viero Redwood was the Peak Rank 3 warrior from Redwood family. He had received some damages during the kidnapping trouble. Because of this he was recuperating and didn't cultivate. This was the reason he could come this quickly.

Viero was the only Rank 3 warrior in Redwood family. He was almost two thousand years old and even older than Issabella. Therefore, she gave him some respects. Issabella was also a powerful warrior almost reaching Peak Rank 3 warrior. Only Viero could stand in the same standing with Issabella from Redwood family.

Trevon scouted into the middle-aged man whom his grandmother called Master Viero. He knew for powerful cultivators; the face was a lie. They would be living histories.

[Name: Viero Redwood]

[Age: 1.853 Years]

[Sex: Male]

[Species: Human]

[Potential: 73/73]

[Determination: 89]

[Cultivation Speed: 68]

[Loyalty: 92]

[As expected, he is an old fogey. He has used all his potentials.] Trevon thought.

He knew checking ability would result in a long and useless panel that Celestial Readers hated. However, Master Rabbink kept suggesting him to scout that information. It said something about word counts. Trevon didn't want to help the Rabbink.

"It was an unfortunate incident with your cultivation." Issabella seemed to regret something. She gave a thoughtful expression.

"It is no big deal." Viero knew Issabella intentionally stabbed at his wound. [This woman is a viper behind that beautiful mask.] He didn't change his expression from Issabella words.

"The most important part is to ensure the safety of Redwood citizen. May I sit at your table?" Viero asked. He knew that this beautiful lady had attacked a prince for brazenly sat at her table. It was a famous event in Heavenly Phoenix a few hundred years ago. Viero was still a Top Rank 3 warrior and Issabella was still only a Beginner Rank 3 warrior.

Issabella took one of the cups and poured some tea. She brought it to an empty chair. "It is my pleasure Master Viero." She smiled again.

Viero sat on the free seat. "It is me who had the pleasure to enjoy a cup of tea from Lady Issabella." This was true. Not every prince could have the chance to drink with Issabella.

Viero took a sip. "What is the reason of the lady coming to Redwood?" He tried to probe. [She must be called to Redwood because of the mutated demon beast and the star stones.] He thought in his heart.

"It is to ask an answer for my grandson misfortune. Since the accident, he was feeling unwell. My dear, tell that to this uncle. He could help you." She gave a wink to Trevon.

That was a deadly wink, if Trevon wasn't her biological grandson, he would die from a nosebleed. Some male passersby started to get a heart attack and fell into the street.

Trevon knew what he needed to do. "It is my sword." He showed a heartache expression. The young master imagined being far away from Margareth and Cecillia. It was so heartbreaking for him.

"What happened with your sword? I only heard you were taken as a hostage. You even almost died in the incident. This is why your grandmother quickly came here to get an answer from Redwood Family. What is this swords incident?" Issabella asked. She had heard about the explosion in the report, but she acted like she didn't know. The beautiful grand elder actually came because she was feeling bored.

"Grandma must haven't heard the news. I lost my precious sword at a banquet. I was having a friendly exchange with Young Master Leon from Redwood family..." Trevon started to explain his side of the story.

"I gracefully managed to beat him..." He continued while making some sword swings. The shameless young master told how brave he exchanged swords with a more powerful young master.

Issabella still drinking her tea while listening to Trevon.

"Grandma must know he is a Primary Rank 2 warrior." Trevon proudly bragged. He knew he would get some rewards from his grandmother for beating a powerful warrior. His grandma would use this to brag to other grand elders.

Viero almost spat blood. He had heard about the fight from other Redwood young masters. [This young master entered the battle after Leon had fought multiple battles. Trevon also acted sheep to eat pig before suddenly attacked using an artifact.]

"After the battle, he borrowed the sword from me. As a friend, of course, I let him checked my sword. However, it turned into a blast that almost killed me. Young Master Leon without my permission injected his spiritual energy into the sword." Trevon pretended to be so shocked.

"My sword was gone." He almost cried. The spoiled young master imagined having to face troublemeter every day.

"Oh, my dear! That must be so stressful for you." Issabella gave a hug to Trevon. "Your grandma quickly came because I heard you were involved in as a hostage. I never imagined you were treated this badly by Redwood family. I want the compensation for my grandson stress. While he seemed OK, he had lots of nightmares because of this."

"Of course, our Redwood family will compensate Young Master Trevon for the sword." Viero had heard about this.

In the end, they would need to compensate Trevon for their sword. It was borrowed and lost before many young masters and ladies. Their external elders were in negotiation with elders from the McArthur family to get a better price.

Viero could imagine this woman came because of her grandson. He had heard she was overprotective of her family. [Why that Jacob need to involve this evil woman's grandson.] He started to curse Jacob's ancestors. Finally, Viero stopped after he realized that he was one of the spoiled young master's ancestors.

[If the accident didn't happen, perhaps McArthur family will only send some common Rank 3 warriors.] He thought.

"Who is talking about the sword?" Issabella frowned. It added another dimension to her supreme beauty. "What is important is his mental health. He almost lost his life. You couldn't imagine. He is only a 15 years old kid this year." Issabella pinched Trevon. Trevon wanted to scream, but he managed to turn the pain into even more tears.

"Hu... Hu... Hu..." Trevon acted. No. His crying was real. [Aw!!! This is really hurt.]

[I also heard you have fun with the fruit merchants playing pointing fruits and with some kids playing pointing tables.] Viero thought in his heart. He couldn't imagine Trevon that stressed. [Wait! Is it because he is so stressed?] He started to imagine things.

"Of course, we will address such problem." Viero said. He also knew this beautiful woman also an unreasonable person.

"The medical cost would be one million spirit stones. Since we are an old acquaintance, I will act as his guardian and asked just five hundred thousand spirit stones for him. This is not a big money for such a big family like Redwood, right?"

Viero really wanted to explode. This demand was clearly an extortion. Even the best psychological treatment in Heavenly Phoenix wouldn't cost that much. A genius young master like Leon would only receive about one hundred and twenty thousand spirit stones in a year.

"But Lady Issabella, your grandson was happily moving around in the town. He loved to visit the fruit merchants and played with some kids in the old gallery. We have given him a great price for rental and cleaning the mess behind." Viero tried to explain to her.

But the next sentence made Viero understood the meaning of unreasonable. "That is because he is so stressful. He acted like that. My grandson is a good and innocent kid. He had never played around." She pinched Trevon even hard.

Trevon cried even harder. "HUA... Hua... Hua..."

[It is so painful.] He thought. However, he was in acting. If he messed his part, his grandmother would do the unthinkable to him. He also would get more money this way for his harem dream, so he gladly continued the act.

"HUA... HUA... HUA..." Trevon cried even harder.

Master Rabbink started to learn how to handle Trevon.

Max and his two friends almost threw up blood. This young master was clearly fine just now. He had given their friend multiple deadly blows. Yet, he looked so frail and weak at this time.

Viero knew Trevon background. Redwood family always watched McArthur family members inside the city. [This is the number one spoiled young master in Bluestar. How could you say that he is a good or innocent kid?]

However, his family position was in the wrong. Everybody knew that Leon borrowed the sword from Trevon.

"We will settle the problem for Lady Issabella and Young Master Trevon." Viero quickly answered.

"Why didn't you do it earlier? Do you think my grandson easy to bully?"

"No. Our external elder was still in a discussion with a McArthur elder."

"What needs to be discussed?" Issabella quickly cut the talk. "My grandson, that sword is a gift from me. I purchased it for two million spirit stones back then." She looked angry to Trevon.

"Why did you listen to an unknown appraiser?" She had read the report about the banquet accident. "I can assure you that it was worth two million spirit stones. I buy it from my friend the Sword Collector. You know he was visiting my family village a few years ago..." The beautiful grand elder started to speak every detail about the purchase. "Master Viero believes me, right?"

Trevon was so shocked. He had felt that he was already being unreasonable for asking one million spirit stones. His grandma just doubled it with a single sentence. Even Trevon also started to believe that his grandmother purchased it for him. Her reasoning was convincing. The story matched.

Even worse, nobody would ask that mysterious Sword Collector. The Sword Collector was a powerful Rank 3 warrior who loved to seclude himself. The mysterious warrior would kill someone who came disturb him.

[What a professional!] Trevon couldn't stop his admiration.

Jerry and Jack both surprised. From the acting, even they would believe that their old lady was the one who purchased the sword for Trevon.

They started to imagine that they didn't force that rogue warrior to sell the sword to Trevon. However, they knew Trevon had purchased it only for 1.286 spirit stones. Yet, it seemed that they were imagining the thing.

[Did we have that mission to get the sword for Young Master?] Jerry asked Jack using spiritual energy.

[I am starting to think we didn't do that.] Jack felt Issabella really convincing. [Perhaps we buy another sword. Young Master had some swords in his collection.]

Viero spat blood, but he stopped it from going out his mouth. A two million and five hundred thousand spirit stones weren't a small amount. The Redwood family could pay this much. Their spirit stones mine could produce over three million spirit stones per month.

However, the family had many members. This was the reason they tried to negotiate with Trevon. They needed to share the resources with many members of the Redwood family. If he reduced their allocation, they would blame Leon for causing the incident in the first place. It would be hard for his descendant to lead the family in the future.

"I still hadn't added his stress from the kidnapping accident. He was involved in such a traumatic accident because of your useless young generation." Issabella pressured again. "Do you think I came this far just for fun? I heard the accident about my beloved grandson!" She increased her voice. She continued to attack Viero without giving him any chance to respond.

Viero knew he needed to quickly settle this or this madwoman would increase her demands.

"We are in the pinch." Viero tried to soften Issabella stance. "You must hear we lost an elder during the kidnapping accident. If I know your grandson involved in the accident, I will directly appear."

"..." Issabella didn't respond. She intentionally added some pressures.

"Redwood city had several problems lately. We had a hurricane, an earthquake, and a meteorite." He tried to negotiate.

Trevon almost felt bad. [Some are because I pressed the troublemeter. No. I am also a victim. He looked into Master Rabbink.]

"I am not involved in the accidents. The artifact will find the target automatically. Your destiny called the problems." Master Rabbink still eating some dumplings.

"That is not my problem. It is Redwood family problems with their younger generation." Issabella acted arrogantly. "However, we as members of the city needed to lessen the city burden." She acted like she thought something difficult.

Viero was surprised, he couldn't imagine. [Is she would lower her demand?] He only tried without hoping anything. It was hard to value a missing sword. Therefore, the long negotiation period happened. Both sides had their own valuation.

"I will not charge you for the damage. I even give another sword to my grandson later." Issabella started to speak.

[No, Grandma. I need that two and half million spirit stones.] Trevon almost cried.

"However, I have heard Master Viero had a beautiful descendant named Olivia. How about you betroth her to my grandson to take care of him? We could become a family." Issabella smiled.

Trevon almost wanted to complain, but he changed his mind. He didn't want the money anymore. [My grandmother is the best. She always knew what I want.]

Trevon quickly acted like he was a decent young man. He removed all his frail expression. The handsome young man looked like an elegant and educated young master.

[No way!] Viero talked in his heart. He had heard a genius prince of the imperial family was interested in his family's Olivia. The wise ancient elder wouldn't hurt his descendant chance to become a phoenix in the imperial family. Viero would never marry her, a genius of Redwood family to a spoiled young master.

"Lady Issabella does not worry about the money! My Olivia isn't that good. She is still young and naive. I am afraid she wouldn't be able to care for your grandson. That would only be an embarrassment to my family." Viero tactically avoided. He was also had his experience. [Yeah, she wouldn't be able to handle your 'disaster' grandson.]

This turn of the event made Trevon almost wanted to faint. He would prefer such an elegant and beautiful young lady than a mere two and a half million spirit stones. Trevon believed he could use the Rabbink for money-making opportunities.

[Help me, Master Rabbink!] Trevon said in his heart. [Change his mind!] Trevon knew Master Rabbink could change destiny and affected the decision.

"Well, you aren't in danger I could do that. However, if I changed some destinies, it would return in karma. You will get some trouble."

[I prepared for bigger trouble.] Trevon said.

"Fine." Master Rabbink started to calculate. "This will change the Redwood Forest King into a nine-headed hydra-type demon and it will multiply the number of monsters in the waves by five."

[What?] Trevon was surprised. No matter what, he needed to survive if he wanted to enjoy the beautiful wife. It would be a tragic story if he was betrothed to a beautiful young lady, but he died in the beast waves before he enjoyed the first night.

"Actually, I will suggest you take this change." Master Rabbink had read some possibilities.

[No way!] Trevon didn't want to listen to Master Rabbink. [You must want to increase some tensions for your novel.]

"Trust this Rabbink. A hydra is better. You only needed to beat it nine times."

"Then I will trouble Master Viero." Issabella had concluded the compensation with Viero while Trevon talking with Master Rabbink.

"No. No. No. Do not change anything!" Trevon was afraid.

"Well, it is over. I can no longer change it into that path. You will regret this." Master Rabbink said. Viero had made a final decision.

"I will send the rest of the money to your family pavilion. I hoped Lady Issabella could excuse me now. This old man needed to prepare the money. I still hope to discuss the mutated beasts with Lady Issabella in another time." Viero excused himself. He didn't forget to try to gain some exchange chance for some mutated demon beasts.

"You should talk with my brother. He is the one who made the decision." Issabella said.

Viero knew who Issabella's brother. [It isn't strange. Did he come to the city or not? He might use the long-range pigeon. I should tell the spies to gather some information about him.] At last Viero got an information from this exchange.

Viero just disappeared when another group of elderly people came to the restaurant.

"Where is my grandson?!" One of the elders screamed.
