123 Unlucky Young Man

"Ainsley... You should not get too close to him, Trevon." Grand Elder Lance said in a serious tone.

"Eh?" Trevon felt a bit surprised.

"How could I say..." Grand Elder Lance seemed to be in deep thought. "He is truly a genius... A good talent. However, he plagued with bad luck. He can hurt everyone around him."

"Bad luck?" Grand Elder Lewa creased his brow.

"If we add Bandeira family, all his families had turned into broken families." Grand Elder Lance said. "His first family, Alesanto family involved during a big event thirty years ago not long after he was born."

"That event thirty years ago…" Grand Elder Pieter stroke his chin while looking outside.

"Yes. That reduced the family power. Then, another event eighteen years ago turned his family into spiraling destruction. They tried to get the untouchable treasure. Today, his new family also faces a destruction. Even if they still have their branches, Bandeira is no more."

"..." Trevon felt a bit afraid. Children of God often brought disaster to their family. A family with long history suddenly facing a potentially family terminating trouble after the child of God rising. The avid novel reader remembered Qin Yu's story. His family faced numerous troubles after he became a cultivator. Trevon also remembered Meng Hao's story that brought disaster to his family after he visited his father planet.

[Ainsley also brings disaster to his family.] Trevon felt bad.

"Yes. A family must have the necessary destiny to protect the children of God, else they would be destroyed." Master Rabbink commented while it threw a rice cracker to its mouth.

[Wait! Those children of God's friends also often become a victim.] He felt cold sweat on his body. [I hope he didn't think of me as his friend.]

"In the past, I also interested to marry a younger generation with him. This is why I remember him. However, other than him there was another genius in their family. I believe the other kid more hold a stronger destiny."

"Hm…" Grand Elder Pieter took his teacup. "I don't remember we have a recruit from Alesanto family."

"Yes. The other kid decided to inherit the family. Our relationship with the Alesanto wasn't good because of the event thirty years ago. It is Bandeira family which offered a genius young lady as the marriage partner. Their other offers were hard to reject. I will also take them if I was their family leader. Nevertheless, I heard those offers were not delivered. He also didn't suit in that family. I heard he went toward a sect in the West."

[West again?] Trevon felt confused about this during his talk with the twins. Nevertheless, he thought it was a minor thing. However, even his Grand Elder also said the same thing. "Grand Elder, he was telling me that he came from a sect from the east."

"Yes. The story isn't finished. The sect on the west is his first small sect."

"First sect?" Grand Elder Lewa also frowned. Most people would only have one sect during his or her lifetime. "Did he have a problem with loyalty?"

"No. His small sect obtained a legendary pill four years later. They were attacked by another sect. He was one of the members who managed to run away and joined another slightly bigger sect. That is his second sect."

[Second sect?] Trevon felt more cold sweats. [Those children of God are dangerous.]

"With his talent, he slowly rose on the new sect. But I heard the sect found a supreme treasure just seven years after he joined them. A huge inner clash appeared inside the sect. The sect broke into two in a civil war. The weakened sect finally destroyed by their enemies."

"..." Trevon was speechless. [Don't tell me he was the one who makes the pill and find the treasure!]

"This Rabbink will tell you so. Gwahahaha. With a great destiny came a great disaster. You are lucky, this Rabbink gave you troublemeter to negate your great destiny." Master Rabbink proudly said.

"..." Trevon felt wanted to cry. [Should I be happy with troublemeter?]

"Ainsley once again without sect and moved into the east. This time I heard a master took an interest in him. This time his new sect is quite strong. I hope they had the necessary destiny to hold this blessed kid." Grand Elder Lance ended his story.

"So, he had two sects and two families destroyed?" Grand Elder Lewa shook his head before sipped his tea.

"Hahaha. In the past, I was regretting not having him. I heard he is a supreme talent in pill connection. This is why I remember him." Grand Elder Lance said. "I always regret our family missed a good alchemist and Bandeira family had a better luck getting him."

[...] Trevon was sure one hundred percent. Ainsley was the source of the problem. Master Rabbink and Grand Elder Pieter explanation showed him that.

"Well, Trevon if you wanted to know more about him, you should check the Library. We have a history about Alesanto and Bandeira family. There are some secrets that only a chosen may know. In short, you should be careful about the members of those two families."

"Yes. Grand Elder. Do you think the attackers came from those families?"

"We have people tracking them. If you have an interest in those two families, you actually can pay using contribution point to access those books in the library."

"Hahaha. I will check when I remember." Trevon would never check the book. His family contribution point was his safety net from the Disciplinary Department.

"Our main goal to call you is that we may need your help Trevon." Grand Elder Pieter suddenly turned serious.

"My help?"

"Yes. Only Master Creator could break the barrier in a worst-case situation. Based on the original plan, I and you will wait in this city for a bit more time if there were more sudden attacks. Grand Elder Lewa will lead the merchant since it was a scheduled trip." Grand Elder Pieter looked at the other two Grand Elders. "However, with the new dungeon opened, I think this is a lucky chance for the younger generations. We will make some change in the arrangement."

Grand Elder Lance and Lewa nodded. They knew the benefit of entering a dungeon. Nevertheless, this was the chance for the younger generation.

"We will check the dungeon first." Grand Elder Lance said. "Tomorrow, we will need you to accompany us to the Bandeira family. We will need to show our respect."

"Yes, Grand Elder." Trevon bowed.

After Trevon wasn't there, the elders spoke again.

"About your request, Brother Pieter." Grand Elder Lance took several documents.

Grand Elder Pieter looked at one and fell into deep thought. He continued to read them.

"Hm… We should be careful. Our family had used some under the table dealings with these families." Grand Elder Pieter said. "I have asked for more information from Hillbridge branch. We will need to wait for their investigations."

"Yes. Brother Pieter. Sigh… This is troublesome. Other than these mysterious attackers, we have received reports several organizations made their movements toward the capital. Several branches also reported receiving minor attacks." Grand Elder Lance looked at the garden outside.

"The most dangerous is that person also moved to the capital." Grand Elder Lewa touched the cup.

"That is the risk and the goal of our tournament. As a great family, we have too many enemies. We can only send this report to the capital with the fastest courier. It seems the family would need to use that artifact." Grand Elder Pieter looked at the documents in front of him again.

"That artifact… It will be too costly to use." Grand Elder Lewa frowned.

"Yes. However, this would give the chance to clear all our troubles in a move. This will give our younger generation several decades of peace to grow. We have done, we must face the risk." He dropped the documents to the table. "We handle what we could. May the family ancestors bless us!"

There were three words un the topmost documents. [Poison Body Case].

"May the family ancestors bless us!" The other two Grand Elders nodded.

While his elders continued their discussion, Trevon had arrived at his room.

Trevon took a bath before using the troublemeter. He got a pair of cats singing their love songs.

[Hm… Not bad.] Trevon thought. He went inside, this small annoyance wasn't a problem for him.

The Rabbink was busy typing on a strange artifact, it didn't want to get disturbed by Trevon.

"Master Rabbink, I want to read novels." He asked the Rabbink to borrow the tablet.

"Fine. Just put it on the table after you use it!" Master Rabbink was still writing when it materialized the tablet on the table.

Trevon read the novel and found some new chapters for him. [Whoa! I got four chapters today!] The young master felt happy. It was hard for him to know when the new day appeared. Sometimes, he got many chapters in a day. Another time, he didn't get any single updates in two years.

He opened the first chapter he got, Chapter 66. [That is crazy.] The young master remembered the Rabbink could become crazy. [This freakmedic even suggested a dangerous request. That is a big NO! Destroying a city while I was being there.]

Trevon continued to read Chapter 67 until 69 when he put his revenge's plan into motion. [Hehehe. They lost the arena because of this.] He continued to read the comment. [Lol! Arania thought he could offer fifty percent to the Rabbink. That Rabbink took over ninety-nine percent of my win.]

He read Chapter 68 comments. [Wow! This freakmedic could predict the future.] Trevon remembered the chaos after the Rabbink had too much money. It delayed the city recovery. Whatever the price, the Rabbink would pay. Food became the scariest assets after the demon beast waves.

[This is the last chapter.] He read Chapter 69. [What? Hahahaha… So, they cried because of this.] Trevon enjoyed his revenge. Reading the effect on the opposite side was satisfying. Foiling their countermeasure was even sweeter. [This is satisfying. Time to read other stories.]

[Hm…?] Trevon felt strange. [Why didn't I get free chapters?] He pressed unlock to continue reading Master Zhang Xuan story. [Hehehe.] The young master continued to read.

[Another locked? Why there are too many locked?] He pressed the unlock button. [WHAT? My spirit stones are not enough?!!!] "RABBINK! Why do I need to use spirit stones? In the past, I had free chapters daily. It asks for a Google Play account! Let me borrow your account!" He knew a bit from his Tablet Using skill.

"NOPE! That is my in-app purchase budget." The Rabbink stopped typing its novel. "The premiums are no longer giving free chapters. Use your own spirit stones!"

"What? Ugh…" The rich young master took some spirit stones from his storage ring. He slammed it toward the tablet.

[WHAT?!!] The Rabbink managed to save its tablet from the piling spirit stones. "What are you doing?"

"I want to give the spirit stones."

"Gr…" The Rabbink smacked Trevon. "Get the spirit stone from daily login! Your world spirit stones are not accepted there. You can't transfer them from this universe to Earth."

Trevon touched his painful head. He wanted to cry, not because it was painful, but he couldn't get more spirit stones to read. The young master was rich, but he couldn't use his spirit stones to read the novel.

"No more reading for today!" Master Rabbink took its tablet.

"Sigh…" Trevon still felt angry. He got a cliffhanger before he got locked.

"Meaw… Meaw… Meaw…"

[GRRRR!!!] The cat still sang their love songs. [Huff… Huff… Huff… Stay calm, Trevon!]

"Meaw… Meaw… Meaw…"

[F*CK!] Trevon went outside. [I got two troubles today. First, no more free premium chapters. Second, it is you F*CKING CAT!] Being left in the cliffhanger made the young master frustrated. He took spirit stones from his storage rings and threw them toward the cat.

[Go!!!!]

"Meaw!!!" The cat ran away.

Trevon returned to his bedroom. However, the cat continued to sing after he returned. [Gr… He pressed his blanket to stop the voice.]

The day after, Trevon woke up feeling frustrated. His eyes still had heavy bags.

"Finally, a new day." He still yawned when he opened his door and saw the morning sky.

"You haven't mine a red iron for this Rabbink." Master Rabbink reminded.

"I will. Later." Trevon knew he would stay in the city for a few more days.

Trevon had learned new martial arts from Ragam's inheritance. He decided to practice more of those arts. They were his new assets.

He started the day practicing Earth level for Haladie Hurricane Stance.

[This weapon is strange.] Trevon thought. [Hehehe. That Ragam looked cool using this.]

Trevon took one haladie from his storage rings. He had sold the weapon to the Universe Store. It was called 'Eternal Executioner'. While he found its price was high, but the upgraded weapon had gems embedded on it which increased his hand speeds.

Trevon practiced the ability based on the knowledge of the light manual. He purchased the Man level of Haladie Hurricane Stance and used it on his head. The young master continued with purchasing the Earth level knowledge.

He held the weapon in his right hand.

"Wush…" He made a slashing movement from right to left. [This is a bit heavier than a sword.] He thought.

Trevon received his right hand with his left hand. Both his hands grabbed the handle of the haladie. He made a jump while he used a hammering movement using the other blade of the haladie toward the imaginary opponent below.

"Wush…"

He walked one step forward and threw a punch using the spike on the handle as a knuckle duster. He continued with another slash left and right. [This weapon requires the power of my arm.]

"Wush…"

"Wush…"

"Wush…" Trevon increased his speed. From the outside, he would look like a tornado. He made a slash here and there while sometimes he stabbed to a vital place of an imaginary opponent. The young master continued his practice.

"AAwww!" He stabbed by the other side of the sharp blade on his arm. "Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"

[This weapon dangerous.] Trevon wanted to cry. He took some external injury medicine from his storage ring. His arm felt hot before it turned cold, which showed the medication was useful.

[Sigh…] He looked at the Eternal Executioner. [This is hard. How could that Ragam make this look like a dance? I will practice tomorrow.] His laziness invaded again.

He took a bath to wash his dirty body. After that, he activated the usual troublemeter.

[Hm… Nothing happened?] Trevon didn't believe he was lucky.

"Meaw…" A cat fell from the roof before scratching Trevon's face.

The cat quickly ran away from Trevon.

"Do not let me capture you!" Trevon took his boots and threw that to the cat with spiritual energy, but it missed. Nevertheless, the boots hit a tree.

[OH, GOD!] Trevon saw a tree in the courtyard fall into the wall and then a building.

"BAM!" Trevon still in throwing motion. [Sh*t!] He could imagine what he would face next.

"What is that?" A guard shouted.

"Attackers!" Some people started to shout in panic. The event in the last two days made people fear about the attack. Soon panic spread in the pavilion.

[No! Not the Disciplinary department again…] Trevon could imagine he needed to use his contribution points to escape from the penalty again. He held his head using both his hands. [NOOO…]

Trevon called Aya and Marcus to make the report and paid on his behalf. While Aya and Marcus was paying for him, Trevon ate at the Dining Hall for breakfast while he cried for his disappearing contribution points. He lost some for destroying family's assets. [That is because of those cats!]

Since he stayed in the city, he didn't need to join the caravan which leaving the city. Trevon had heard most young masters and ladies also stayed in the Goldcave to get their chance for a lucky encounter. An inheritance might change their future.

Trevon was returning to his bedroom when Grand Elder Pieter called him.

"Morning Trevon, you should follow us. Our family will pray in the Bandeira's ceremony."

"Yes. Grand Elder." Trevon quickly pretended to prepare in his room and took Nana from his universe.

He followed the McArthur entourage and went to the Bandeira family. The young master was allowed to stay in a carriage with Grand Elder Pieter. They talked about the dungeon more.

Trevon knew from the conversion their family had offered some young masters and ladies to enter the dungeon. The family had prepared for the crazy rules put by the dungeon master. He had seen several young masters from McArthur family, including his brothers and sisters from Bluestar and Redwood branch, joined the entourage.

"We will need you to declare the dungeon to the official. Since it was found by you and Ainsley, based on the rule Bandeira family and our family would be able to control the entrance."

[Ah!] Trevon finally knew. His family wanted to stake a claim on the dungeon.

"We also have secured the entrance. I have checked the monoliths. The rules are similar to what you have said before. You will have a great contribution point. Douglas and Issabella will be proud of you." Pieter patted on Trevon's shoulder.
