63 Learning from A Master Teacher

*** Warning ***

This Chapter MIGHT contain spoiler of Library of Heaven Path (Chapter 701-702). It could tell a bit about the method used by Zhang Xuan, but it was similar and not 100% the same. I want to show Trevon used his knowledge from his novel in a his trouble. I took some time to remove detailed spoiler of LoHP events. So if you don't intentionally remember for Chapter 701-702, it should be fine.

My edit cut some but also added some it went from 2.900~ into ~3.400. Lol.

***End of Warning***

Trevon went to the dining room in his house. He felt it was a correct decision to purchase the house. [If I don't move here, Raina must already order me around.]

Ten minutes later Issabella came. Aya informed her that Trevon had prepared some breakfast.

The girl didn't make any difficult foods. She cooked a rice porridge. Aya's porridge was simple compared to the foods in the dining hall, but Trevon's love this simple food. It reminded of his mother. Trevon could smell the fragrant chicken aroma from the porridge.

Trevon put a spoonful to his mouth. He could taste the savory taste of chicken stock between the hot porridge. The meat also juicy and gave the right flavor. Aya also used deep-fried dough sticks as a topping which gave the crunchy texture to the porridge.

"This is good." Issabella praised. She had tested Aya's loyalty to Trevon. Her appraisal of the girl increased by a notch.

Trevon had to agree. Aya's had some talents in cooking. Trevon wished that the girl had some talents in fighting. However, potentially having a Rank 4 cultivator as a follower was good enough for him. Her loyalty also passed the temptation tests a few times.

"Do you always wake up this late?" Issabella chided Trevon. The grand elder didn't see her grandson.

"Hahaha. I slept late Yesterday."

"What are you doing in the room?"

"I helped Master Creator created something."

"Well, you are lucky a powerful master wanted to teach you. You should learn more from him. Even if you could only manage to reach Rank 2, as long as you have some skills, you could get people's respects." Issabella didn't dare to ask about what Master Creator created.

"See? You should pay your kowtow to me. This had been forty-eight chapters since our meeting and you haven't paid your kowtow." Master Rabbink complained.

[I am still testing your product.] Trevon refuted. [All top stores would never afraid to give testing period.]

"Well, you are correct. The Universe Store is the number one store in the entire universes. Gwahahaha." Master Rabbink felt proud. It was truly confident about its lesson.

Trevon still ate without responding to Issabella's suggestion.

"What? You didn't listen to me?" Issabella felt annoyed.

"Yes, Grandma."

"What grandma? If there is nobody from the family, call me elder sister." Issabella didn't like to be called grandma. She even had just ranked up, she had just more lifespan and younger body.

"Yes, Elder Sister." Trevon could only obey.

"So, what are you going to do today?" Issabella asked. The bored grand elder found her grandson was interesting. He had a powerful backer with Master Creator followed him, and also a loyal maid with potential.

"I plan to purchase some martial arts." Trevon decided. "I also want to look for the money from Redwood family."

"Yes, they should act fast. My ranking up must have been heard by them. They wouldn't dare to delay the payment again." Issabella was also a Peak Rank 3. The genius of her generation was confident to say that she was the strongest people in Redwood.

The two continued their conversation. After the breakfast, Trevon went outside with his grandmother and his bodyguards. Berger went to prepare the kids.

Trevon wanted to level up as soon as possible. He had started to feel that he could level up. After Trevon got the destiny path cultivation technique, he knew about impurities. Cultivators would occasionally remove impurities from their bodies. That process was the level up in Scout information. It was far easier and more often than Rank up.

Trevon visited the family pavilion early in the morning. He wanted to know whether he got the money from Redwood family. When he entered the pavilion, lots of elders quickly surrounded his grandmother. They all congratulated her for her Rank up. It was a big celebration for the McArthur family. The family had another Peak Rank 3 warrior.

Trevon was taken by Raina. She had been waiting for him.

"Hey! Stupid cousin! Your sword is really worth two million spirit stones?"

[Raina must have heard this from Olivia.]

"Yes, my grandmother purchased it for me! You can ask her." Trevon dared to lie. He had some backing this time. Nobody would dare to bully Issabella beloved grandson. She was a Peak Rank 3 warrior this time.

"Olivia asked me whether your request still works? She wanted to help her brother. Leon was punished because two million spirit stones were a big number."

"That I would reduce the price by half?" Trevon was tempted. However, with his grandmother, he couldn't accept it without consulting with her.

"I need to talk with my grandma. You have heard about her character." Trevon said.

"Tell me your decision! She was waiting for your answer." Raina left Trevon. She joined the group who congratulated his grandmother.

From this, Trevon also knew that Redwood family hadn't paid his compensation. If they did, Olivia wouldn't ask Raina's help for this.

Trevon visited the internal department. He wanted to ask about the next recruitment process. He needed the recruitment both for his mission and also to get his allowance next month.

[That's father of mine was really annoying.] Trevon forced himself to meet Hendrik.

"I have completed posting the posters two days ago." Trevon reported his work to Hendrik.

"Yes, your guard named Jonathan reported it to me. Here is the schedule for the recruitment! It would be three days from now in the field next to McArthur Redwood Hall. You should arrive thirty minutes before the test." Hendrik gave some documents to Trevon.

"Your uncle had asked me to put you as one of the people in charge of administrations."

Trevon didn't like to be in administration, but it also allowed him to check the recruit first. "I will be on time." Trevon took the documents.

Trevon returned to the lobby. He didn't saw his grandmother. From one of the pavilion employees, he knew that the group who congratulated his grandmother had moved to the inner room. The family received many quests in the lobby daily. It took thirty minutes before Issabella could come to her grandson again.

"Have you already obtained the compensation?" She asked.

"Erm... Grandma..." Trevon started to talk about his desire to have Olivia as a painting model.

"You already have this beautiful elder sister. Do you still need that lady from Redwood family?" Issabella harrumphed.

Trevon knew what this meant. Issabella was still angry because of Viero's rejection yesterday.

"I will tell Raina then." He ordered Jerry to send a message to one of Raina's maids.

Trevon decided to visit the Martial Art Arena. While he didn't have much money. He had enough to purchase some martial arts. Worst come worst, he would just beg his grandmother for extra allowance. The young master also could use his family name to ask for a delayed payment from the merchants.

"Where are we going?" Issabella asked. She followed her grandson.

"I am going to purchase some martial arts in the Martial Art Arena." Trevon said.

"Martial Art Arena?" Issabella seemed interested. "Let's watch some fights, today!"

Trevon felt helpless. His grandmother didn't understand the meaning of 'Let's'. For his grandmother, it was equal to 'we have to'.

They walked into the Arena. Trevon went to the ticket box first.

"What match do you want to watch?" A ticket seller asked Trevon and his group. The person knew that the group came from a cultivation family.

"Who is the best warrior in the arena today?" Trevon asked.

"That is the Masked Bear." The seller promoted a warrior. He pointed to a poster of a well-built man with a bear mask. "His match is always entertaining. The last fight, he managed to turn his bad position into victory."

Trevon looked into the match schedule. Every day there would be numerous fights in the arena. The tickets were cheap. It was only one silver coin per person. Each dome had several hundred thousand of seats. Sometimes a big match would cost one gold coin per person.

However, the money from the arena didn't come from the ticket. It came from the gambling bet. People could put their bet on the winning warrior in several gambling boxes spread through the Martial Art Arena. The Arena was a huge income to the Redwood family.

[Masked Bear will fight with a newcomer Fatty Panda.] Trevon read the schedule.

"Isn't this too one-sided?" Trevon complained. Masked Bear was a veteran while the opponent was a newcomer.

"While Fatty Panda is a new fighter, he had managed to win ten fights undefeated. The management intentionally matched him with Masked Bear. Both are Peak Rank 1 warriors. The fight will be balanced and full of actions." The seller promoted.

"I want a VIP Box then." Trevon declared. He always used a VIP box when he watched in an arena.

"I am sorry, Young Master." The seller felt some regrets. "This is an anticipated match. All VIP boxes had already been booked."

"What?" It was Issabella turn to be angry. "Call that Viero! Tell him this lady wanted a VIP box!" The Grand elder showed the famous unreasonable lady from the McArthur family.

The seller was only a low employee for Redwood family. He didn't know who Viero was.

"I am sorry, Young Lady. I will call the manager." The seller didn't dare to offend a cultivator.

Issabella used her Rank 3 aura. She pressured all people in the Martial Art Arena. This was her power as a Peak Rank 3 warrior. Even the matches on all dome were halted. Every contestant couldn't move.

Trevon was speechless, his grandmother was like this. However, he also enjoyed showing off. He put his fan and acted mighty behind Issabella.

Some silhouettes started to appear. They were Redwood family grand elders. Those grand elders were told to protect the place. Martial Art Arena was the biggest money makers in a city.

"Please keep your aura, Honorably Master!" One of the guards pleaded to Issabella. He knew this beautiful lady before him could easily defeat them. The guards only had one Beginner Rank 3 warrior.

Issabella removed her pressuring aura. "Good! I want a VIP box for a match. You can ask Viero for my identity. He should be happy I want to visit his Arena." Issabella said.

The guards knew who Viero was. He was the ancient elder of Redwood family.

[This lady called Ancient Elder Viero like a person on the same level.]

[Yes, we shouldn't mess with her.]

[Try to find some boxes that we could allocate.] The leader said.

One of the guards looked into the ticket seller.

"Master, it was the box for Masked Bear's match. All boxes had already been sold." The ticket seller said.

"Let me check the attendant!" The guards asked for the list of VIP box ticket holders. The family would give some VIP boxes to important people. This powerful lady wasn't someone who they could offend. She definitely could be considered an important person in the city.

"Remove the box from Young Master Lucas Redwood and his friends!" The guard quickly made the decision. "You would inform him that Ancient Elder Viero takes it from him."

"This is the box as a gift from Ancient Elder Viero." The guard offered the VIP box to Issabella.

The ticket seller was afraid. While he didn't know who Viero was, he knew what an elder meant. A powerful warrior that he couldn't offend.

"Good! I will remember the hospitality." Issabella said.

Trevon brought his grandmother and his bodyguards to the martial art vendors. Jerry was separated to repair his clock. He would join later in the restaurant gallery.

"I am Trevon from McArthur family. I am looking for a special martial art. A copy is fine. If I could find a manual that I want, I will pay ten thousand spirit stones." Trevon declared. He was inspired by the chapter from Library of Heaven Path that he had just read.

Negotiations with those merchants were difficult. Some rare manuals couldn't be purchased with money even when they were weak.

Some merchants were interested in hearing ten thousand spirit stones. They could make a copy of the manual with some gold coins. Their manual quality wasn't the same with McArthur family's copy service.

"How do you decide on the manual, Young Master?" One of the merchants asked Trevon.

Trevon knew it was a success. [Zhang Master Teacher is really smart.] He found some use for reading other hero stories.

Trevon took a big black box from his storage ring, it was one of the boxes from Uncle Bowman.

"Only the best martial art would be purchased. This is an artifact box which could select the winner!"

Issabella looked to her grandson strangely. She wondered what her grandson would do.

[Why would Trevon offer ten thousand spirit stones for a martial art? This is just one of the boxes for broken artifacts.] She thought.

Some rare martial arts could fetch a higher number than ten thousand, but it was mostly for the original manual. The copy might include fake information and wrong guidance. It would be fatal it a word was mistakenly changed. The copy was very cheap while the original was very expensive. Even the most expensive copy would not be more than one hundred spirit stones.

More merchants started to gather around Trevon and his group. They had heard the famous McArthur family name.

"What's this about?" Most merchants only cared about the ten thousand spirit stones.

Trevon opened the box. "Write your shop insignia on the manual! This box would only pick the suitable manual. The rest would be destroyed, no refund will be given. A copy is enough for me." Trevon told the merchant.

Some merchants tried their luck. They threw some martial art manuals into the box. Those merchants want to find out what was this about. They had several hard to sell manuals. Most were broken manuals that couldn't be used or unpopular manual with hard limitation. All were copies.

Trevon showed his ring and gave it to his grandmother.

Issabella took the ring while wondering what her grandson would do.

Trevon closed the box. He knew the first one would be his loss.

"This box would select one manual." Trevon declared.

Trevon entered the Universe Store. Universe Store was his unique ability. As long as he touched something he could bring that thing to the Universe Store. This didn't work for living items, but it was useful to bring a storage item.

Trevon quickly went to the purchasing counter. He sold all but one manual from the box.

"This is good." Trevon returned to the real world. He pretended to activate the box using spiritual energy.

Trevon waited for some time before he opened the box. A manual was at the bottom of the box. "This is the selected manual." Trevon took the manual. The young master pretended to check the manual.

"Good! I want this." He declared.

"Who owned this manual?" Trevon asked. A merchant came forward.

"This is ten thousand spirit stones for you. You can count it." Trevon gave a pouch to the merchant while putting the manual to his storage ring.

"Thank you, Young Master." The merchant was happy, he only opened the pouch. He didn't need to count. The spirit stones, that he could see were already a big profit for him.

Other merchant felt envy. It was hard to have that much spirit stones.

"I will only purchase a limited number of martial arts." Trevon declared. "I am still looking for more suitable martial arts. Who would participate?"

"What kind manual does young master looking for?" One of the merchants asked.

"That is a too broad question. This box would select for me." Trevon promoted his box. "You could try to put more manuals to increase your chance to be selected."

This time those merchants competed to put lots of manual copy. The price of the manual came mostly from the martial art on it. They had seen Trevon didn't wear a storage ring that could be used to take the manual from inside the box.

Most merchants also thought it was impossible for a family like McArthur to use a cheap trick for copies. A family like McArthur would only collect original manual.

The merchants quickly took their copies of martial art manuals. Some merchant even put over than a hundred manuals to compete.

Trevon closed the box. This time he made a big profit. He counted over twenty thousand manuals. Some were the same, but he didn't care.

Trevon used his 'I Am A Customer' skill again and entered the Universe Store. He sold those manuals to Universe Store using Auto's help and only left one manual inside the boxes.

Trevon played his drama again and took the manual again. A happy merchant saw his manual chosen. Trevon gave him ten thousand spirit stones.

While he wanted to act like Master Teacher Zhang from' Library of Heaven's Path', he couldn't do it. If he could fully imitate him, he believed he would get even more merchants participated.

He also did one more time, but this turn, he declared all were failed.

"This will be the last." Trevon declared. He opened the box again.

This time the merchant competed even harder. Not every day they could find a person purchased using ten thousand spirit stones. The book which was chosen also strange and unrelated in the merchants' opinion.

However, Trevon knew that the gambling made a huge part of his success. People love to gamble, hoping for luck to get something big.

Trevon counted over thirty thousand manuals. Most of them were just weak and common martial arts. Some also were duplicates. Trevon went to the Universe Store. He sold all those manuals except one. The process was easy thanks to Auto. Auto could handle numerous items as easy as one item.

Trevon pretended again. He opened his box, found a manual and pretended to read.

"Yeah! I want this. Congratulation to the winner!" He showed the store symbol.

A happy merchant came to Trevon. Trevon spent thirty thousand spirit stones for these manuals. However, Auto had informed him that he got 92.256 martial arts unlocked in the Universe Store. Some manuals that he took was a duplicate after all.

"Wow! You are cheating them!" Master Rabbink commented. If Trevon went to purchase those manuals one by one, he would need to bargain. Some could be obtained cheaper, but most would be more expensive. It also would take a long time.

[This means using other heroes' experiences to make my path easier.] Trevon felt thankful to Master Teacher Zhang Xuan's teaching.

Almost all heroes would face similar problems. He didn't need to invent a new way since those heroes had proven methods. He knew why those novels popular. It was a guide for a young warrior like him.

Trevon left the martial art section and went to the center arena dome. The dome where the Masked man would fight today.

The VIP box was different from a ticket match. A ticket match allowed one to watch a series of fights. It was usually four to five fights depending on the arena. If it was four, the first three would be for unpopular fighters. While the last would be the fight between two famous fighters.

Meanwhile, VIP Box customers could enter the box anytime they wanted during the day. They could enter during the last important match or even watching from the previous series fights. There were usually four to five series of fight each day or twenty fights a day. A VIP box customer could watch all matches if they wanted.

Trevon entered the dome. This dome was the place where Masked Bear would have his fight with Fatty Panda. A beautiful lady received Trevon. She wore a blue traditional body fit robe with a long slit. Trevon could see the lady's long leg from the slit in the dress. [Hwehwehwe.]

Issabella had known about this habit of her grandson. She pinched him.

"Aw! That hurts... Gra.. Elder Sister!" Trevon screamed. It was painful, she had her body tempered.

Issabella knew sometimes those beautiful attendants had another agenda. They would try to seduce the powerful VIP customers. A VIP box wasn't cheap. One needed status, connections, and money.

The attendants could turn from a beautiful koi into a magnificent dragon if they managed to get a VIP customer's attention. It wasn't only a female attendant. The arena management also had some handsome men to treat their customers. Various quests visited the arena and everyone had their own preference.

The beautiful girl smiled seeing Trevon. She led Trevon, Issabella, and Trevon's bodyguards to a special entrance.
