31 A God-Tier Level Spirit Painting

Master Rabbink was only satisfied with Trevon's growth for a short time. Until a beautiful girl passed on the street below.

Trevon caught the sight of her and quickly used the Scout ability. So that was her name. He smiled lewdly. [Hwehwehwe.]

"..." Master Rabbink was speechless.

Of course, Trevon didn't dare to mess around with that beautiful girl. This was because she was one of the Redwood family elders. She was a grandma who looked young.

Yet, not daring didn't mean he couldn't enjoy. Therefore, he enjoyed the worldly panoramic.

[I have to eat my words again.] Master Rabbink said.

[Whatever. Let's have fun while following this young master!] Master Rabbink itself was not an old rabbink. It could even be considered as a baby based on a God Rabbink immortal lifespan. Foods always cheered it.

The scouting continued for some time, Trevon enjoyed this leveling process. [Hwehwehwe.]

Trevon continued to enjoy his drink and using his skill on the people below.

Sometimes, he could see some important figure. They were Rank 2 warriors who were elders from some cultivations family. They looked young and pretended to be a common person. But, each of them was actually a hundred years old grandpa or grandma.

He even saw a handsome young man tried to woo a beautiful lady. But that lady was one of the elders. [Wait, until she tells him her age. Hahaha.]

[... Wait!] Trevon felt some cold sweats. He had tried to woo numerous girls in Bluestar. [I hadn't wooed some grannies, right?]

He looked into Master Rabbink. Master Rabbink only laughed. "Gwahahaha."

Trevon knew what it meant. He drank his wine more to forget things.

He continued this skill leveling for some time, he also had completed a Job Mission.

[Lv 6 Job Mission: Scout 10.200 different people.]

[Job Mission completed.]

[User got 6.000 low chances to increase your job level.]

[Current Job: Recruiter Lv 9 – Scout.]

[Hahaha. Another lucky job level up.] Trevon smiled.

He had completed 6 job mission related to scouting people, 13 job missions related to scouting demon beast, 1 scout mission related to finding people with talents, and 1 recruitment mission. From totals, 21 missions, he had managed to level 8 times. It was a good day for him. He felt his luck was rolling.

[I think this is for today. I want to visit Grand Master Vale. I haven't practiced painting these few days.] Trevon called Jack. "Jack, let's go to Grand Master Vale's house!"

20 minutes later, they were in front of Grand Master Vale's house. A guard received him.

"Grand Master is not in the house. He went to the capital for some painting request. However, Grand Master already told us to allow young master Trevon to use the studio to practice." The guard received them. He invited Trevon to the studio.

They went to Grand Master Vale's studio. This was the room where one could concentrate to make a masterpiece. Trevon felt serene in it. Its design inspired creativity. It had wooden panels covered its floor. There were also good amounts of Shining Pearls to give enough light in the room. The best part was the huge glass windows towards the garden. It gave the beautiful scenery of the pond and garden.

Trevon picked one of the canvas and put it into a painting canvas tripod. He thought what he wanted to draw. [Hm...] He felt lost on ideas.

Trevon had already practiced using his Margareth and Cecillia painting. He even made 50ish copies which all destroyed by the Grand Master for being bad paintings. He also had tried to practice painting with Little Rose, Grand Master Vale's beautiful maid. However, he couldn't go to the other base with her.

[I think it is better to paint her.] Trevon made the decision.

"Is Little Rose here?" Trevon asked. He opened the studio door and saw the guard was standing next to the room.

"No, she took a leave on sickness. She felt something bad in her stomach." The guard answered. He was there to guard the room.

"Gwahahaha." Master Rabbink laughed. Trevon's gaze was powerful.

Jack was standing next to the guard. Whenever his master was doing something in a safe place, he would take some time to absorb spirit stones.

The cultivation process was not that difficult. One didn't have to sit in a certain pose for hours while it helped. It was like chewing a gum, you don't need to concentrate. Of course, there would be a difference between one who chewed while playing a game and people who truly concentrated on chewing.

"Is there a girl looking for me?" Trevon asked the guard again. He wanted to know where Rebecca remembered the appointment.

"No, Young Master."

Trevon still hoped in the small chance Rebecca came to his modeling request. Nevertheless, perhaps it was another failed attempt from him. [I will find another girl tomorrow. Hwehwehwe.]

"I want to go to the main house." Trevon wanted to go the Palace of Byeontae again. There were enough paintings to be used as the reference.

The guard led Trevon to the main house. He was waiting outside.

Trevon saw the same side lamp that Grand Master Vale used. He pulled the side lamp and a hidden door appeared.

"Nothing here?" He saw the empty cabinets. [Grand Master Vale must take those paintings with him.]

Somewhere far from Redwood, inside a moving wagon.

"Hachi...!" An old man with a bald head and a thin mustache suddenly sneezed. He saw a painting in front of him. "Look! Teressa, many people talk about me. They must be jealous that I will meet you soon. Hwehwehwe."

Redwood City, Grand Master Vale's House.

[Well, I should try to paint Cecillia again this time.] Trevon returned to the room and closed the door. He hanged his Cecillia painting as the model.

[Grand Master Vale painting really looked alive. He is close to the Sage level.] This was the first time Master Rabbink clearly observed the picture. Even when he had read Trevon past destiny, it was different from the real thing.

Master Rabbink also took some canvas and started to paint.

Trevon focused on his drawing, therefore, he didn't see Master Rabbink took its own canvas.

Other people also wouldn't be able to see Master Rabbink's canvas. It was something that Master Rabbink materialized. It isn't a common thing.

[Finally.] Trevon completed his painting. While it wasn't bad, there was some feeling that was lost compared to the original Byeontae Painting.

This was the difference between his painting and Grand Master Vale's painting.

[This is not that bad.] He cheered himself.

"That is bad." Master Rabbink commented.

"What do you say?" Trevon spoke to Master Rabbink. This Rabbink clearly wanted to fight him whenever possible.

"Wait! What is that painting?" Trevon saw Master Rabbink's painting. It was even worse.

"You and your painting. Hahaha." Trevon laughed. Master Rabbink had tried to paint Cecillia too. But it was very ugly. It used colorful colors, and the face even couldn't be considered a person. "Even kids could draw better than you."

Trevon couldn't imagine this Rabbink's art was like that. Cecillia in Master Rabbink's painting had a crooked nose that looked like her ear. It also drew 2 super-size and unmatched eyes for the girl. The beautiful curve on the girl also turned into a strange grandmother style. It was even worse, nothing was symmetry. Its outline was strong and straight. It could be said as a group of rectangles, rather than a real painting.

"It is a Divine God-level spirit painting in your word." Master Rabbink complained. [A person from backward cultivation couldn't appreciate its painting style. It was inspired by the famous Picasso from its world.]

Trevon looked into the painting again. This time he carefully saw it. He didn't feel the calming effect. However somehow, he felt that his body was a sponge and it was easy to absorb the spiritual energy.

"Well, that's it." Master Rabbink ate the painting. As a rabbink, it could eat anything. "It's delicious." It felt proud of the masterpiece.

"WAH!" Trevon stressed. While the painting was ugly, it was a God level.

Those God level paintings were very very very rare. Grand Master Vale only had an incomplete series. Master Rabbink's painting was a real completed one. That painting could be sold for numerous spirit stones even if it was bad, but it was eaten.

He looked into the Rabbink with a killing gaze. It was a destruction of treasure.

"What?" Master Rabbink complained. "Do you know a rabbink could eat anything? I have told you that before."

"You! You just ate a God-level treasure."

"What is strange? This is a God Rabbink. Of course, I need to eat something of the same level."

Trevon was devastated. He was lucky to be able to see a real God level spirit painting, but it was destroyed in front of his eyes. No Sage-level spirit painter could 100% create a God level spirit painting every time they painted. Most would only create 10 to 20 God level paintings during their lifetime. All would be humanity treasures.

"Master Rabbink, how about the next time you made your God level spirit painting, I will trade with numerous foods with you?" Trevon offered. [If I could sell some of this Rabbink's paintings, I could retire happily with Margareth and Cecillia. HweHweHwe.]

"Nope. Rule on the manual. I couldn't help you directly." Master Rabbink said. "But, you could purchase my painting for 1 billion divine spirit stones. Fair trade for both parties."

"What?" Trevon wanted to hit this Rabbink, it was clearly easy for it to make. While Trevon didn't know about divine things, but that 1 billion itself was already too much. 1 billion spirit stones were something that his father might not have. "You make that so fast, but why the price is so expensive?"

"It was easy because I have spent million years in the meteor learning to paint. My other clones also helped to learn to paint. You need to practice if you want something. Gwahahaha." It laughed.

"If it is easy, then you should reduce your price by a lot." Trevon complained.

"My spirit painting could allow numerous cultivators to directly absorb energy from the air. It was worth the price. It was even very cheap. You can count how many spirit stones saved by cultivating in front of it! A family could use it as a founding treasure and building years of heritage. It is the fair price."

Trevon really wanted to bite the Rabbink, but he had to admit, the painting effect was wonderful. Just a bit seeing and he felt he already absorbed some spirit energies from the air. [If only I could make such painting.]

"Unfortunately, You can't. Unless you are a God already. There is a Divine level in the rank. If you unlock a painter as your job, you might get some skills to increase your painting level and even more." Master Rabbink laughed.

"I can unlock job? I want to change the job!" Trevon wanted to make better paintings. He could sell them and retired rich. [Hwehwehwe.]

"Not that easy. You must complete the job changing mission. However, you will lose all the benefits of your current job." Master Rabbink said.

"Lose my current job's benefits?"

"Yes, for example, you will lose the [Scout] skill. While you might not realize it yet, being a scout give you a better eyesight, you will lose it too."

Trevon didn't want to lose some benefits like how easy for him to get a girl's name and age. He really wanted to get the 3-size number in the future. It was a hard dilemma for him.

"You also might not be able to do the job changing mission. It requires some capitals and dangerous mission."

"Then I don't want." Something that this Rabbink called 'some' would be a crazy amount for him. That dangerous word was even worse.

"Well, I will tell you the example of job changing mission. It will depend on your environment, I couldn't ask you to kill a dragon in a poison marsh somewhere far, right? I will ask you to kill the 3 demon king candidates by your own hand for example. Gwahahaha."

The mission totally killed Trevon's hope.

"Of course, you must have some connections with the new job, like you could change into a Painter. You can also pick your other master job. A young master job also could be unlocked, but its effect is bad." Master Rabbink explained further.

Trevon knew it was a dead-end road for him. He lost his mood to draw, this Rabbink totally destroying the feeling. He decided to return to the family pavilion earlier.

On the way home, Trevon only thought how to trick Master Rabbink to make him a God level painting. However, it was hard since Master Rabbink could hear his thought.

[Master Rabbink, is there any way to keep you from hearing my thought?] Trevon asked, once again in his thought.

"Well, it was easy. You only need to be more powerful than I do. Gwahahaha."

[That's is impossible.] Trevon didn't feel any better. [If it was easy, what is hard?]

"Gwahahaha." Master Rabbink laughed.

They arrived at McArthur pavilion and there was someone waiting for him. Luckily, the person wasn't Raina. It was Darvis.

"Good Night, Young Master Trevon. Elder Charles wants you to come to his office."

"Fine." Trevon answered. [I didn't accidentally press Troublemeter, right?] He checked it. People didn't think anything about this thing. It was looked like a baton for a traffic coordinator.

Darvis led Trevon to Charles's office.

"Please wait here, Young Master! I will call your uncle."

"Fine." Trevon sat on one of the guest chairs.

This was the first time Trevon entered Charles's office. There were several bookshelves with numerous books on it. Trevon saw several paintings, one of them was Heaven level spirit painting. It was the copy of the first ancestor of McArthur family. There was also a big table made from spirit woods, his uncle working table. There were some documents on top of it, Trevon didn't care about these piles of words.

Trevon looked around the room while thinking. [Why my uncle wants to meet me?]

10 minutes later, Charles entered the office. He sat on his chair behind the table.

"Night, Trevon. What did you do today?" Charles smiled. He started to make some tea for him and Trevon.

"Er..." Trevon didn't know how to answer. [Should I tell him that I was beaten by Raina, attacked by an unknown lady, pointing to fruits, or watching a God Level spirit painting gone in front of me?]

"I want to know about Jerry's report." Charles said.

"Oh! I saw suspicious people, Uncle. Therefore, I invited them for lunch. I hope they would show some clue during the lunch. Somehow, the girl suddenly felt suspicious of me. She acted aggressively but I managed to subdue them. After some persuasions, I managed to get some information about them." Trevon had learned how to boast like a proper arrogant young master from the mission.

[You must be interested in the beautiful lady.] Charles thought to himself. He had heard about her from Jerry.

"I have checked their backgrounds. The family had heard about the turmoil in the south." Charles said. "Due to the distance, I don't think our family could have some advantages in the turmoil."

"Yes, uncle."

"Why did you ask Jerry to monitor them? Is this a request from the master?" Charles asked. Sometimes, the smarter people made thing easier to lie to them. They would try to give reasons themselves.

"Yes, uncle. The Master told me to check the young kid."

"Tell me the reason this master interested in the kid!" Charles gave the finished tea to Trevon.

"He told me this kid has a potential to be a Rank 3 warrior. He also has a talent for assassination." Trevon answered. "I don't know whether it would be useful or not to our family, so I send them an invitation."

"Hm..." Charles thought to himself. [The master believed the kid could become a Rank 3 warrior?]

Even for a great family like McArthur, in each generation, there would be only 50 people who could manage to reach Rank 3 warrior. Each generation was a period of 50 years. It could be said from thousand babies born in the family each year, there would be only 1 kid who could turn into Rank 3 warrior. Most would only become a Rank 2 elder like himself. The biggest problem was most geniuses would face danger and die during their training or adventures.

"His loyalty wouldn't be as strong as our own family." Charles said. He wanted to look to Trevon opinion on this. "The expense to grow a Rank 3 warrior also won't be small."

"I heard from him that he would like to go to General Paolo Bertelli. Our family and the imperial family were never in a good relationship. If he turned into a Rank 3 warrior under him, I am afraid." Trevon was afraid this kid turned into a real assassin by the imperial family. If this happened, his happy life would be full of dangers. He had collected some revenge points from the kid.

"Fine. I get your concern." Charles felt Trevon cared about the family. "I will talk to other elders about this, I will keep someone to follow them. Your uncle will take care of the rest." He smiled.

"There is also something for you." Charles took a small ring box. "Here is your new storage ring. We also had put some treasures to protect you in danger."

It was a small black wooden box made from a spiritual wood. While it wasn't necessary, the value of the ring inside was worth for the packaging.

Trevon took the small ring inside. It was a gold colored ring with some inscription patterns on it. He marked the ring with spiritual sense, connecting the ring with him.

"Thank you, Uncle." Trevon smiled after checking the inside. It was a 3-meter long, 2-meter wide, and 2-meter height. It was slightly larger than his previous ring, but this ring was worth a lot more than his previous.

The problem of storage rings was their supply. The rings were not easy to make. If it was a common thing, most people would just transport things using storage rings and not the caravan. Trevon believed this ring might worth 150.000 spirit stones. It wasn't efficient to transport daily foods in this ring.

"You have given me so many things to do for now." Charles smiled. "I would like for you to continue the recruitment with Hendrik."

"Eh?" Trevon almost forgot the recruitment process.

"It will be conducted 3 days from now. I will give the last pick to you. All successful candidates had been cleared." Charles said. "You made some mess in previous steps. This time you shouldn't." He reminded Trevon.

"Of course, I will not make more troubles. I will follow uncle arrangement. Hahaha." Trevon was in happy condition for new things.

"Good. Then, I will need to go back to Elder Assembly to discuss your little friend and his sister." Charles laughed.

"Then, Trevon will excuse myself."

Charles followed Trevon and left the room.

Trevon really enjoyed today. Other than being punched by Raina in public, the day could be considered a lucky one.

Trevon came into his room and activated the privacy formations. He sent some foods to the rabbinks in his universe before he took a bath. He was in the room with his sleep robe.

He took the Troublemeter and saw the light color on it. [What could be wrong? This is my own room. At worst Raina will come, but I will just pretend to sleep.] He pressed the button on Troublemeter.

[Nothing happened.] He looked into Master Rabbink.

"Just you wait. Gwahahaha."

"Brug... Brug... Brug..." Trevon heard some noises from outside the room. "It must be Raina. I will just pretend to sleep." He had purchased an earplug during one of his store visits to block Master Rabbink's nagging voice.
