three months later

A lot has happened in the three months since that battle war. We went through a lot of battles; some of us grew stronger, some of us lost something, and others died while carrying out their duties.

We fought, we cried, we protect, and we missed our loved ones the Faces of newcomers mature .

Unlike the first battle, where we had an almost absolute victory, later on we won most of the time but lost some as well. However, we should not be sad for those who died as they did so willingly.

Most of those who died were protecting someone or something important to them. From the moment they arrived on this battlefield, they knew they could die at any time.

Were they fearless unlike other humans,because they cannot feel fear?

No They, like any other human, experience the emotion known as fear; however, unlike others, they attempted to defy that fear, and the word that best describes their defiance of fear is none other than courage.

They fought and died for their beliefs. Today we are witnessing the funeral of one of the brave men who fought alongside us in several battles.

He leads us through several battles, most of which we win, and he died trying to protect us until his last breath. His last action saved not just ten or twenty soldiers, but the entire army.

A strange name for an even stranger individual .

We all thought he had a great genetic ability at first, but after the first battle, we realized he had one of the most dangerous and difficult to control abilities.

He was strong from the start, but with each new battle, we saw him grow and reach new heights that we could only admire.

He always wore armor on the battlefield, not to defend himself from attack, but to restrain his strength because it was heavy, and every few battles he would change that armor with another that was heavier than the last.

He always says, "Training is a battle, but a battle is also training, only it's a more effective than normal training because it allows you to reach your full potential."

His words were not wrong, and he himself demonstrated that as it manifested in him.

his growth was both physically and in skills.

His mindset has also influenced many of his friends and other soldiers who are always by his side, particularly they says, "he was only the weakest among us a few months ago, but now he could destroy us all with one hand, so we need to work as hard as he did at least."

They also begin to train, though not in the same way that he does, but they do train whenever they have free time. This also aided some of them in surviving several crises later.

"Today, we all gathered here to send away one of the bravest and strongest men, our brother in arm Leo, who scarficed his life to..."

As rachid heard these words, all that came to mind, aside from the grief that was causing him to cry rivers, was how he could bring these news to Leo's parents.

What should he say to them?

"Your son died protecting us?"

He couldn't bring himself to do it, even though he knew the time would come when he needed to knock on their door, and that time would come soon.

At the moment, he felt sad, angry, embarrassed, and resentful. His resentment was directed at his friend and brother, Leo, who had died.

At the time, none of us should have survived because the threat was something we couldn't do anything about it .

Even Leo didn't stand a chance, but by sacrificing himself, he gave us some time to flee.

It could only be done by him.

But by doing so, he saved us all while leaving us with a burden we won't be able to forget for the rest of our lives, or at least some of us, while others may not even care about the life of a stranger thats how life goes.

'Damn it leo why only you should sacrifice if you do not have the ability to save us at least we will all die. then and i wont see your parents later breakdown in front of me but even so I hate myself for being grateful that you saved me. I also hate myself for thinking that I still have things to do in life. I have a family to see and a fiance to marry. Everyone you saved would have families who would be grateful when they heard of your deeds. But you know what, you also have a family and you should not have died like us. Your family may be proud of what you accomplished, but they will never be happy that you are no longer with them. I wish God bless you, my friend, my brother, and I will do everything in my power to help and protect your family in your absence'(rachid).

Several hours ago

As the soldier rested after the battle, a sudden warning rang through the base camp, "Warning warning a huge tsunami wave is coming from the west time for the arrival is about 10 min..warning warning a huge tsuna...."

When the soldiers arrived at the plane station, they heard several commanders arguing, "its over those planes need more time than estimated to fly safely and by the time we can fly the tsunami would have already swallowed us."

"Don't be pessimistic and give up hope; instead, think of something."

"We tried, but we couldn't do anything; we need at least another two minutes for the planes to take off, and we can't go ask the tsunami (please, Mr. Tsunami, arrive two minutes late) right?"

"Are we really going to...."

And then, one by one, several pessimistic remakes came from them, and they didn't stop only after hearing a voice.

"Is two minutes really enough time?" Everyone turned to look at the person who spoke.

It was a man about 186 tall with black hair and a somewhat handsome face, about 26 or 27 years old, wearing black armor he also held a 2.5 meter metal black spear.

He is our main character. LEO.J.McDowell at this moment his face appeared to be that of someone struggling against something .

"Then what are you waiting for, say what you have in mind"

"Unneeded, my plan does not require anyone's assistance; all I needed isa helicopter and a terrain device; be quick and prepare them for me."(Leo)

We did as he requested and brought him a helicopter and the device.

As he boarded the helicopter, his friend Rachid took the the drivers seat .

Leo who saw that didn't seem to care as he said

"The goblin underground town that we raided a few days ago" Rachel's face frowned slightly as he heard what Leo said, and then, as if realizing something, his hand began to shake as he pointed to Leo,

"You..." (rachid)

"Hurry and drive or get out of here, we don't have time right now" (leo)

Rachid heard that and drove the helicopter away after struggling internally allitle.

As the helicopter flew through the sky, silence descended inside until Rachid asked,"why don't we run away with this helicopter leo we can be saved"

"do you even know what you are saying rachid ,lets even say you did that can you live well after that with all that guilt? i don't know about you but i can't"

"then lets forgot that ,wouldn't boombs be enough?"

"not enough"

"Is this the only way?"

"It's the only way I can think of right now because we don't have time."

"Are you the only one who can do it"

"don't ask questions when you already know the answers."

"But what about your family, me, your friend, and our other friends?"

"Rachid, you should already know that I don't want to do that, even though what I'm trying to do now appears noble and all, I'm only doing it because I'm the only one who can do it; no one wants to sacrifice himself sometimes in my life i thought of scenarios like this and always though that if my life was in danger someday i would definitely run away that's what i thought back then now it seems that i was somehow wrong about myself .no, its not that i was wrong the only reason i am here is that i feel that my death will not be in vain thats it ."

"Is there really no other way" rachid said in a tearful voice as tears fell from his eyes

"Do you know rachid if I didn't do it now everyone of our comrades and us as well would die, so instead of that i would be the only one to die, i feel sorry for my parents but i can't do anything about it ,so if you can please help them when i am not there for them "(leo)

Rachid didn't respond right away because he was still crying, but he did say "I will" later.

"Do you see that red point in the device? I want you to take me 200 meters above it and then return."

When we arrived at that point, we could already see the tsunami. "It appears that we won't have time to chat one more time, but I wish you a happy life my friend."(Leo)

I was preparing for my last job as I said those words.

Taking off my armor and holding my beloved spear.

I prepared to use my ability. Using every knowledge in my head to make my body as strong as it can regardless for the side effects, I even tried to turn off my survival instinct, which prevented me from using all of my strength.

The only thing I didn't touch was the brain, and not because I didn't want to., but because I might accidentally kill myself, and my death would be meaningless at the time, unlike what I want to do now.

When I felt my strength had reached the limit of what my body could handle without exploding, I held the spear in my left hand and exited the helicopter, as i said one last thing to Rachid, "Take care of yourself."

Then, using the helicopter as a foothold, I used all of my leg strength to send myself down as it flew more than 20 meters from the pressure of my leg strength.

when I was about to reach the ground, I did a very risky thing and sent all of my body strength to my left hand that was holding the spear that stabbed the place that I saw in the terrain device that was the weak point of this underground town.

The underground goblin town was a goblin-built town that was more than 700 meters underground and more than 5 kilometers wide.

As the spear tip touched the ground,both me and the spear broke through several floors and didn't stop until i was already 200 m underground.

he jumped away strong enough to send the helicopter with me more than 20 meters away, but I didn't care because I was looking at him breaking a hole through the ground, then cracks started to spread in a wide and very fast way that didn't stop until the cracks reached 2 kilometers away,.

moment later it became huge gap of more than 2 km on the ground.

Looking complicated at the feat my friend accomplished through both strength, will, and wisdom, I cursed myself once more for my weakness.

then with a heavy heart, I made the helicopter fly away slowly as I watched the tsunami close in on the gap.

When it arrived to the gap, the tsunami came to a halt as it needed to fill that gap with water before moving on, which will take some time because the town below is full of tunnels,where the goblin used to live in and other tunnels that were made in case they wanted to escape

This will allow us to save enough time to survive.
