Chapter 62: Horror Movie Murder Case 2

It took another hour before all the people arrived in the abandoned mansion, Seiya was surprise on how acting and filming works as this is the first time he went to the behind the scenes of a movie. The female coordinator of Yoko quietly introduced all the things as she could see in Yoko's expression that she is in love with the man, but she couldn't see it in Seiya's eyes at most she felt that Seiya was treating Yoko like a big brother treating his little sister.

It was half way the starting of the filming when suddenly the director heard a wooden creaking sound on top, he stops everyone as he asked.

"Did anyone hear that?"

"The wood creaking? Isn't that normal since this house is a bit old?"

"Yes, but don't you think it's weird for it to sound like that when no one before us went here?"

The director is a believer of the supernatural so he asked three of his people to investigate where the sound was coming since the wooden creaking was not stopping. As if someone was trying to attract them upstairs, Yoko and her fellow actor and actresses couldn't help but shiver as they moved closer to each other. Yoko held Seiya's arm as she asked.

"Seiya, do you think ghost exist in this world?"

"They do, at least I believe they exist just like how we don't see the oxygen in the air."

"So you mean they exist but we cannot see them?"

"Yes, at least this is what I understand after experiencing a few supernatural events."

Seiya calm her down as he explained ghost in a more cartoon way, like if you noticed a moving thing that wasn't push by a physical being then just ignore it. If you suddenly feel cold, just ignore it or drink a hot coco or hot water anyway they can't do anything to you unless you try to provoke them. Yoko hearing Seiya's explanation made her feel that ghosts are a bit pitiful, they seem to just want people to notice them. Seiya also warned her to stay a bit away from supernatural activities since they don't know if getting close to it can affect your body, just like how we ate something bad but we didn't know it was poisonous so we suddenly got sick.

Yoko nodded as she wrote in her mind notepad to stay away from supernatural activties. Seiya and Yoko continue to talk more of ghost conspiracy theories but suddenly they heard a male staff screaming.

"AHHHHHHH!!"

The director was frightened as he accidently slip off his chair, he said while trying to stand up.

"What happened?! Can someone go upstairs and see what's happening?"

Because of the scream, the other staffs didn't dare to move from their places. Seiya sigh as he walk forward. Yoko who was frightened didn't want to let Seiya leave her sight so she grabs his arm as she went with him. The actors who has a crush on Yoko felt bitter when he saw this scene, he felt that he should have man up and Yoko would probably have held his arm. Of course this was his own thinking.

Seiya led Yoko towards the second floor, there was a staff banging a closed wooden door as Seiya immediately asked.

"What happened?!"

"I don't know! It's just when my two buddies went inside, the door suddenly closed!"

Seiya pulled him away as he kick the door which broke the rusty door knob. Yoko suddenly held her breath as she saw the room, one of the two guys was hanging on the ceiling with a rope around his neck while the other one had a wooden stake punctured on his thigh as he was unconscious. Seiya immediately ask Yoko to call an ambulance and police as he grabbed a disposable scalpel from his med kit, he jumps and cuts the rope hanging from the ceiling as the dead body of the staff drops to the floor. He then took out a bandage from his med kit as he covered places around the wooden stake, since if he takes out the 12 inch ruler size stake then the staff would bleed to death.

He asked the frightened staff beside Yoko to call some people downstairs so that they could carry the unconscious injured staff. Seiya's eyebrow furrowed as he suddenly glance up the ceiling when he saw a big hole, he seem to see a phantom of a lady as it instantly disappeared when he blinked. Seiya sigh as he knew this case was really a supernatural event. The horror movie filming was temporarily canceled as the ambulance and police arrived at the same time, Police Officer Takagi was the one leading the squad as he saw Seiya. He greeted Seiya as he asked.

"Seiya-san, what happened here?"

"Well, it was like this."

Seiya truthfully explained what he encountered as Police Officer Takagi was helpless since it doesn't help much but he had to wait for the unconscious person to wake up. Yukimura, the staff who went with the two only said that there was a ruckus disturbance when the door closed then he only heard a scream which made him try to open the locked wooden door, but sadly the door was too durable that he couldn't break it. Then that incident happened, Police Officer Takagi could only ask everyone to stay in the hotel that they were staying as they investigate the area, Seiya asked if he could help since he was their consultant and Takagi agreed because he was there when they solved a few cases with Seiya's help a few days ago.
