EPHS-Chapter 487 Rossweisse's Confession

Approaching Tenraku and the others was none other than Rossweisse, the Valkyrie from Northern Europe and a member of Rias's Peerage as a Rook. She tightly held her towel and walked cautiously, surprising both Tenraku and the girls.

Perhaps due to her upbringing, Rossweisse was a somewhat reserved woman, even conservative. Normally, she wouldn't participate in mixed-gender baths, but today seemed to be an exception. 

Apart from her magical studies, she also trained her body regularly. Rossweisse was generally tall and had a perfect figure, even though she was wrapped in a towel, her stunning physique couldn't be concealed.

With sparkling eyes, Tenraku made a couple of sounds, and Rias and Akeno, beside him, simultaneously reached out to pinch his waist.

"Rias, Miss Sona, I'd like to ask for a favor."

Seeming somewhat embarrassed, Rossweisse approached and spoke.

"Well, this is quite rare. Go ahead, Rossweisse, what is it?"

Surprised yet slightly pleased, Rias responded. As a Valkyrie, Rossweisse's expertise in magic correlated with her ability to handle her personal life. She managed everything impeccably, almost never causing any trouble for her family. 

While Rossweisse's excellence was a good thing, it also posed a bit of a dilemma for Rias, as her superiority left little room for Rias to offer help or care. So, when Rossweisse finally needed something, Rias was eager to assist.

"I'd like Tenraku to help me with something."

With some hesitation, Rossweisse spoke, causing Tenraku and the girls to look at her oddly. If she wanted Tenraku's help, why did she need Rias and Sona's consent?

"To seek our consent first, it seems this matter involves us as well."

Wiping the fog off her glasses and putting them on, President-sama's lips curled up.

"Well..."

Blushing intensely, Rossweisse seemed to gather some courage and turned to Tenraku.

"Kamiya Tenraku, please... please be my boyfriend!"

"...!"

With these words, Rossweisse seemed to exhaust all her courage. The bathhouse fell silent for a moment, then erupted into a commotion.

"Huh?!"

"R-Rossweisse-sensei is so bold!"

"No wonder she's attracted to the Big Brother Sex Dragon. His magnificent demeanor finally conquered even the Valkyrie big sister."

"Indeed, even Rossweisse couldn't escape the clutches of the villainous Tenraku..."

"Yeah, yeah, I knew this day would come, just didn't expect it to be Rossweisse who couldn't hold back!"

"Confes... confession, is that a confession? Well done, Rossweisse!"

With each word, the girls stared at Rossweisse, some surprised, some curious, and some admiring.

In any case, Rossweisse's words captured everyone's attention. Even Ophis, lurking underwater, blew bubbles and curiously watched her.

"I see, because Rias and I are officially wedded to Tenraku, you wanted our consent."

"Rossweisse, I didn't expect..."

With a flicker in her eyes, Sitri Sona nodded, while Rias wore a complex expression. She hadn't anticipated Rossweisse's request to be of this nature!

"Rossweisse, while I'm happy, you didn't have to say it in front of everyone. You could have come to my room afterward to discuss it privately."

Tenraku also patted Rossweisse's shoulder.

"N-No, it's not like that, not what you're thinking."

Blushing furiously, Rossweisse waved her hands repeatedly, quickly explaining, clearing up the misunderstanding.

Rossweisse hailed from Northern Europe and had a grandmother living in the countryside, besides her parents who were often away on missions.

As a dutiful girl, Rossweisse often kept in touch with her grandmother, sending her salary back home to Northern Europe to help with household expenses. However, like most elderly relatives, her grandmother's concerns revolved around a few key topics: whether Rossweisse was eating well, dressing warmly, and how her work was going. And, of course, the most important question of all: whether she had found a boyfriend yet?!

Regardless of whether you're a Devil, a human, or even a Valkyrie, escaping the fate of being pestered by family elders about marriage seems impossible. "You're getting older, you should hurry up and find a good man." "There aren't many good men left, so you should snatch one up while you can." "It's not good for a person to be alone outside, if you have a boyfriend, we can rest assured." In short, Rossweisse was tired of her grandmother's nagging.

So, feeling exasperated, Rossweisse blurted out without thinking, "I already have a boyfriend, Grandma, so you don't need to worry anymore!"

Initially, it seemed like a harmless white lie, meant to put her grandmother's mind at ease and give Rossweisse some peace. However, Rossweisse was taken aback when her grandmother insisted on visiting to meet her boyfriend in person!

At this point, admitting the truth to her grandmother would only lead to scolding and disappointment. So, Rossweisse had no choice but to devise a plan straight out of a cheesy soap opera: she would find someone to pose as her boyfriend!

Surrounded mostly by female companions and friends, Rossweisse had very few male acquaintances. After much consideration, she concluded that Tenraku was the only one who fit the bill. And thus, the events described earlier unfolded.

"So, you just wanted me to play the role of a fake boyfriend," Muttered Tenraku, feeling slightly disappointed.

Rias, however, shot him a disapproving look. "What, are you disappointed because it's not real?"

Sheepishly, Tenraku chuckled and decided it was best to remain quiet in such a situation.

"Rias, Tenraku, please, I'm begging you, this is a lifelong request!" Rossweisse pleaded earnestly, looking at them.

"Rossweisse, you brought this upon yourself," Rias sighed.

"I know... but now I have no choice but to see it through to the end," Rossweisse said, looking defeated.

"Rossweisse, you're my Peerage. Whatever it is, we'll help you unconditionally," Sona reassured her.

"Sona, are you okay with this?" Rias asked, turning to Sona.

"It's just pretending to be a boyfriend, and it sounds amusing. I'm actually looking forward to it," Sitri Sona replied with a light laugh.

"Well, then it's settled. Let Tenraku be Rossweisse's fake boyfriend!" Rias nodded, making the decision.

"Hey hey, my princesses, don't you want to ask for my opinion?" Tenraku interjected.

"Do you have an opinion?" Rias and Sitri Sona both looked at Tenraku with amused smiles.

Breaking into a cold sweat, Tenraku instantly caved in. "Well, I guess not..."
